Like the first book, the story is interesting, but it falls short. I’d desperately needs an editor to help with pacing and all of the spelling/grammatical errors (not to mention THERE ARE TWO ENTIRE CHAPTERS OUT OF SEQUENCE!!!). Again, the plot points are just too thin; i.e. how did the two MMCs amass their fortune/empire? It has nice bones, but just needs to be beefed up and polished some more.

This is the second book in the series and it does not disappoint. The mystery and intrigue the writer creates makes it hard to put down and keep you guessing. Definitely a great read and I can't wait for book 3!

There is so much potential with this book. I want to love, and I think it could be a series that people would, but it needs more depth. The characters are there, the stories are there, but everything just needs to be built upon.
