Tavist Darke lost his mate and pup years ago and never expected to have a family. He no longer looked for happiness in life. He didn't expect to find another mate. The love of his adopted pack was more than he ever expected. When he met beautiful Tracey West and her enchanting children he knew his secret prayers had been answered. Tracey West had a family and she would keep them safe at all costs. She didn't want another mate. She'd been married for almost a decade and had three beautiful and special children as a result. Living in and getting out of that marriage had been a nightmare. All she wanted now was peace and sfety for herself and her kids. Why couldn't her sexy neighbor understand that?
So, about me. I’ve been writing sensual romance—and some other stuff—for about five years now. What a busy five years it’s been, too. I’ve met a lot of great people along the way.
I’m blind and have been for more than a decade. I don’t go anywhere without my best buddy, Cosmo. He’s my guide dog. Once in a while, he turns up in my stories, incognito, of course. He and I travel when we can via planes and trains; we don’t really care for long car trips. Hmmm…what else? We have a couple of cats that keep us on our toes. They’re good for tons of aggravation and entertainment. I got them for Cosmo, but I don’t think he appreciates them as much as he should.
We love the beach, though we don’t get there as often as we’d like. I live on the Jersey Shore so the only excuse I have for not hitting the sand is that it’s cold and besides that, I can’t drive.
When I’m not writing, I teach blind people how to use adaptive technology so that they can surf the web. I meet plenty of interesting people that way and it keeps me from ever getting complacent. …Not to mention the inspiration for stories that I get. It’s a job that keeps on giving. Actually, I’m not sure it’s really a job; more like a thing I do.
Cosmo likes chunky peanut butter and rawhide bones. I drink way too much coffee—black and strong. I like red wine at night sometimes but he’s a teetotaler. He stays away from alcohol and chocolate these days.
And that’s all I can think of just now. I hope you enjoy the website. Mae’s done some great things with it. I’ll keep writing if you keep reading. Just bear with me if I slow down now and then. Thank you. I really appreciate you stopping by.
Tav, you meet in book one and you can't help but feel sympathy for him. Losing his mate and child, he now just exists. Adopted into Miks pack, another brother to Riker, Lakon and Yancy, hes starting to find a purpose. Moving to a new house, he finds that he lives by a single mother with three kids. The tale among the pack is that every wolf has a mate and sometimes if there lucky, they'll have two. Did he just find his second heart? The hurt hes felt for years is slowly healing when he meets Tracey and her kids. Shes in danger and hes more than willing to step in and protect her and the kids. He's so sweet and attentive. Tracey and her kids have had a trying time and there now picking up the pieces. You cant help but feel with the characters. Read as Tavand his new family heal each other and find happiness. So moving! (And i was sooo happy to see that Tav got his happy ending. He deserves it!)
