Amidst the glittering heat of Abu Dhabi, Hollyn Reinhardt’s world shatters in one tragic night. Once a child prodigy, now a leading AI scientist, she’s left reeling from her parents’ sudden death—and the haunting suspicion that it was no accident. Vulnerable yet defiant, Hollyn must protect her life’s work from unseen enemies.

Enter Davis Ledger: former Green Beret, owner of a keen-nosed military working dog named Fury, and the slightly older man whose rugged charm once captured Hollyn’s young heart. Medically discharged and disillusioned, he’s ready for peace in the US, but walks back into the line of fire when he discovers his friends have been murdered and that their daughter Hollyn—now all grown up—needs his help.

Following an attempt on her life, Hollyn realizes the USB containing her code has been stolen. Code that, in the wrong hands, could kill thousands. But Davis’s sable German shepherd, who has been specially trained to sniff out electronics, is the perfect dog to ensure this doesn’t end in disaster. They have no choice but to join up with a black ops group to protect Hollyn and hunt down the tech.

As they’re pursued by killers, Hollyn struggles to douse her reigniting crush, while Davis finds it harder and harder to deny his feelings and stay mission-focused. With the clock ticking down to an unthinkable catastrophe, Hollyn and Davis face the ultimate test. Can they thwart the threat and reclaim the code, or will their second chance at love end in heartbreak—or worse…disaster?

A masterful blend of breathless suspense and heart-stopping romance, this tale of danger, devotion, and rekindled love will have you at the edge of your seat.

Full transparency - my name is on this book because I mentored Steffani through the brainstorming and helped her as needed during edits, but this book was 100% written by Steffani, so I have a clear conscience rating it with 5 stars.

Steffani Webb is a crazy-talented author. She knows her characters and how to catch readers by the throat. I love that the story is set in Dubai, and her experience with a sable GSD bleeds into the pages. So well done!

This writing duo have mastered the delicate balance between adrenaline-fuelled action, heartstring-pulling emotion, and swoon-worthy romance.

I’m easily won over reading about a soldier’s loyalty and dedication to something bigger than himself and his willingness to be the ultimate protector. If the action heightens my senses and highlights honour, loyalty, courage and sacrifice as the characters take life by storm and fight against all odds to protect the ones they love ~ I’m sold!

I absolutely loved this book and am looking forward to more of this great series.

I was gifted this copy through Sunrise Publishing for a book tour with JustRead Tours and was under no obligation to provide a review.

Fury was an “edge of my seat” action & suspense story! Davis and Hollyn were such a great pair, both of them having cared for each other and hoped for more even when they were teens. Yet they’re thrown back together in the midst of grief and danger, making them recognize their feelings for each other while at the same time hesitant to take that next step in the midst of such uncertainty.

Hollyn sometimes had me frustrated as she reacted to a couple of situations by immediately doing something that put her in direct danger. But I loved the way Davis went after her and did all he could to protect her throughout the entire story.

The MWD, Fury, was a great character, too. What a personality! He and Davis definitely made a great team. Even if you haven’t read any of the other books in this series, you should be able to jump in and enjoy this one just fine.

I've been in a bit of a rut with my reading thanks to life being busy but I finally picked up Fury off my shelf and BAM. Instant cure for all my reading slump woes.

This book is just as packed full of good stuff as I hoped it would be. It's got the action, the character dynamics, the moments that make me snort quietly to myself while I read, and the balance of sweetness too.

Can definitely recommend the A Breed Apart: Legacy series if you like the sound of this--they're all fantastic! (And no, you don't even have to be a dog person!)

Another great action packed story in this series. Davis and Hollyn were friends as kids, up until he left to join the military. Since then she's been developing AI tech alongside her parents at their company. When her parents die, Davis arrives in Abu Dhabi to help her sort things out. Soon they realize it wasn't an accident and that someone is coming after her too.

The mystery plays out, as what they're seeking is elusive to both of them. Action packed right til the end, they realize the depth of their friendship and a hope for their future together. If you've enjoyed this series, you'll want to keep reading!

Just an excellent read!
Each time I read one of these MWD books, I come away in more awe and amazement at these highly trained canines. This book was no exception.
I also loved the human characters, and especially enjoyed seeing how this story played out.
Hollyn and Davis had known each other way before this story starts. Now, Hollyn finds herself between a rock and a hard place, and Davis is the only person who can help her. Along with his dog, Fury.
This story is full of mystery, intrigue, danger, murder, and much more.
To lovers of mystery stories, I definitely recommend it.

For a second novel, Fury was an excellent written book with a great balance between action, suspense and a growing relationship.

The author did a great job with the personality of Fury, the MWD. I love how this series don’ t just uses the MWD as an extra in the series, but each MWD has its own personality and quirks. Fury is one of my favourites.

The plot was intriguing with a lot happening, though I did have my correct suspicions.

You would want to hide away hand have time to finish this story as fast as possible!

This book was beyond amazing! It was a high action, nail-biting, edge of you seat page turning! From gun fights, to kidnapping, to black-ops, it was one thing after another. The characters were also incredible. Davis who got medically discharged from the army, has trauma and PTSD from the recent events he saw while being on a mission in the military. Hollyn who is a AI scientist, experiences childhood trauma and you can still the effects of these throughout the book. Davis and Hollyn reunited when Hollyn shockingly loss her parents. Now Davis, and his former military dog Fury, has sworn to protect her after realizing a killer is out there and will stop at nothing to kill Hollyn. Together they work through each others trauma, and run from the killers chasing them. This was my first book that I have by Ronie Kendig and Steffani Webb and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series, and their books!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Davis' world falls apart when he's medically discharged, and finding that his old MWD Fury has likewise been retired because he refuses to work with anyone else only makes things worse. The icing on the cake is learning about the (potentially suspicious) death of two close friends, leaving their daughter, also a close friend, orphaned. He rushes to Abu Dhabi to help, only to discover that Hollyn herself may be in danger... As things heat up rapidly, will Davis and Hollyn be able to not only stay ahead of their adversaries, but find out who they are and what they want in time to stop them? And is this unexpected time together a second chance at love, or a final farewell?

A fast-paced read with plenty of suspense and action, interesting characters with pasts to overcome, and a satisfying ending - not to mention a retired MWD with plenty of personality! This held my attention from the first page to the last, and definitely kept me guessing as to who the bad guy might be. I also appreciated the times between bursts of action where Davis and Hollyn were able to get to know each other again/better - and the ending, while not working quite how I expected, worked beautifully. It was sad that Hollyn's parents had to die, because the little we see of them made me want to get to know them better, but at the same time I appreciated the way it brought Davis and Hollyn together, and also forced her to step out and gain confidence. All in all, a good read - recommended. 4.5 stars.

Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book.

4.5/5 stars. Hollyn is an accomplished scientist being recognized for her work when her life is turned upside down. Similarly, Davis had planned to be in the military for his career, but a medical discharge sends his identity scrambling. When their worlds collide, things become dangerous both emotionally as well as for their physical safety - someone keeps coming after them. Along for the ride is Fury, a retired military working dog, who plays a major role in the plot as well. High octane story with unexpected twists and turns. If you liked "Riot", you will enjoy this book. Highly recommend!

I received an advance release copy in exchange for my review.

“Yes, you do seem to have a very warm and inviting disposition when it comes to him. Much like a caged tiger looking for dinner?”

This was a thrilling childhood best friends romance. Our hero is a strong protector and our heroine is a tech genius. This Christian romance has all of the suspense with plenty of swoon, protection, terrorism, and grief. It is fast moving and I couldn’t put it down - missing a couple hours of sleep. This is the fourth book in its series and they do work well as standalones (I’ve read them all though). I’m so excited for more. These military working dogs and their handlers are strong heroes and I’m loving seeing their interactions and learning more about the MWDs. With military trauma surfacing, the danger and stakes in this romance hit hard for our characters and it’s such a joy to see them rebuild a relationship and look out for each other.

Fury definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, breathlessly wanting to know what came next. I could feel Hollyn’s shock and pain over the deaths of her parents. Heartrending, indeed. Even though Hollyn is a strong, independent woman, she really did need, and relied on, Davis in their search for answers. The relationship between Davis and Fury, his RMWD (retired military working dog, for those of us not “military-speak savvy") is impressive. It’s also sweet the way Fury attached himself to Hollyn. Animals are smart! It’s easy to see the relationships between a dog and humans is captured well in Fury.

I’ll admit, I have pretty much zero background with the military. This book is a bit heavy on the military verbiage, so I had to use a lot of context to determine what was being talked about sometimes. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story. Be sure to grab your own copy.

Somebody wants her dead. Why? Who?
In this fast-paced, suspenseful story two childhood best friends are reunited to try to figure out who murdered her parents and seem to want her dead, too.
Davis joined the army and became a military working dog handler. He and his dog were in an op-gone-wrong and both received medical discharges from the Army. He’s distraught over his lack of belonging. Fury, his MWD, won’t work for anyone else. He’s in danger of being euthanized. A Breed Apart wants both of them to work for the organization. Meanwhile he gets a phone call that parents of his long lost friend are dead and he is mentioned in the will. Off to Abu Dhabi.
Hollyn is a computer scientist who has just won an award for an outstanding AI program that course corrects drones to be used in underwater salvage. She comes home from a celebratory trip to find Davis at her house telling her that her parents are dead. The stakes keep getting higher and higher. Who is attacking her and the people she loves? What do they want?
Davis and Fury stay with her and work to protect her. As the stakes get higher Davis and Hollyn reignite more than a friendship. Is this a chance for them all to be a family? In a highly tense moment Davis says to Hollyn, “I’ll always come for you.” And he does.
I loved the setting of Abu Dhabi - it was hot and exotic.
Great action, plot, characters, MWD, and, of course, romance. I received an ARC copy of the book through Sunrise Publishing.

It's another adrenaline-fueled, action-packed suspense from Steffani Webb and Ronie Kendig. This time we're transported to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as Hollyn faces tragedy after tragedy and Davis attempts to make sense of all her tragedies. In this book, as in the others in the series, A Breed Apart ranch is in the background but provides the glue that holds all the operators and their K-9 partners together. I absolutely loved Fury - he may be my favorite RMWD yet in the series. His intensity, focus, and loyalty amazed me. Davis was a delightful hero - the perfect blend of strength and ferocity from his military training and vulnerability from his broken past and forced medical separation from the Army. Davis and Hollyn's long-standing yet unspoken love for each other was sweet. Hollyn's incredible brain power was astounding and her socially awkward self was quite adorable. I really enjoyed seeing Damocles team again (from Havoc) and I'm hoping those team members will get their own series soon.

It's an awesome read for all fans of romantic suspense. I received a complimentary copy courtesy of Sunrise Publishing via JustRead Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.

Yet another awesome book by Steffani Webb. This author has some skills. After reading her first two books, I'm looking forward to seeing what other books she writes. I also love this world created by Ronie Kendig and how some of our favorite characters make appearances in the Breed Apart: Legacy. Now I am eagerly going on the read the next and (sadly) last book in the series!

I was really feeling a suspenseful novel and this hit just right. Was it perfect? No. A mind blowing plot? No, but it was exactly what I was in the mood for. I enjoyed learning more about MWD and have gained a real respect for them and their handlers. I thought the romance was super sweet. I loved how the FMC handled it. I really appreciated the Christian themes of prayer, trusting in God, and listening to the guidance of the Holy Ghost. These books make me appreciate those fighting for our country too. This was only the second book in the series I have read and it definitely reads as a stand alone.

SPOILERS and book notes:
MWD military working dog: “She and Fury were two of the best electronic detection dogs in the military. They could find a mini USB in a sandstorm.” “Over fifty-thousand dollars had gone into training this four-legged warrior, and Davis had learned to trust the dog.” Fury can also check for explosives. They are trained to take people down on command too. Hollyn is in ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. That is where the famous city Dubai is. It’s a country in Middle East by Saudi Arabia. Cool quote: ““You can quit anytime. Just not on a bad day.” Hollyn has fantastic adoptive parents. She is 28. She calls her dad her knight in shining armor. The parents died. Davis is in their will too bc they were like parents to him too. Hollyn is allergic to alcohol! Hollyn’s eyes! “Even this close, her different colored eyes could almost be missed. One blue. One green. Davis remembered the first time he’d been suspended from school for punching someone making fun of her heterochromia. Fury follows and comforts Hollyn even if he doesn’t do that for any other human. Then Davis comforts and holds her too. They were childhood friends. Aw! Davis saves her from a guy choking her! Then her dad left him a video saying to protect Hollyn. “Relieved didn’t begin to cover what it was like knowing he wasn’t going anywhere. She was safe as long as she was with him. That, she knew deep in her core.” Bongani the old car driver is praying for the men that committed the crime. That they will turn to Christ! AND this: ““You’re not mad?” she asked. “Mad? No.” He shook his head. “I decided long ago that anger only hurts me. It does nothing to the one who did me wrong.” ““Pray for them? To be caught and prosecuted, right?” “To turn themselves in. To find redemption in Heavenly Father.” AW!!! She is driving with bad guys behind her trying to run her off the road. She calls him and he has to come save her in another car. ““Thank you for coming.” Hollyn sniffed. “Always.” The word was out before he even had time to examine it. But it was the truth. Didn’t matter how much time or distance had come between them over the years. She was the one person he’d drop anything for. Always had been. Always would be.” ““They aren’t going to stop, are they? Whoever’s behind this. Not until I’m dead too.” The way her chin quivered was like a KA-BAR to the gut. But he refused to entertain the thought of her dying. Forced a grin. “Well, then, their mission is scrubbed. ’Cause they’re gonna have to go through me from now on.” I loved that she initiated the first kiss!! But he rejected her! And now there is a bounty on her head!! I love after a suspenseful moment with gunshots he doesn’t just check to see if she is alright but SHE worries about HIM being alright and this makes him feel good. They kissed again and this: “Never had she felt more protected or cherished.” I love that Davis turns to Christ when he is going to her rescue. Admits he can’t do it alone. “The tremor in her voice punched his gut. He sliced through the zip ties, his gaze scanning her for injuries. In a blink, she leapt at him. Thudded into his chest, arms coiled tight around his neck. “You’re okay. I’ve got you.” “You came. I can’t believe you came.” Davis swallowed at how deeply those words dug past his tac vest and years-hardened heart. “I’m sorry,” she murmured, her lips moving against his neck as she shuddered. “I’m so sorry! I should’ve listened. Stayed put.” Surprised at her words and the way she’d thrown herself at him, Davis held her tight.”“You’re safe now. That’s what matters.” He wasn’t sure if he was saying that for her or for himself. That’s when the desperate, frantic realization rushed through him—he loved her and would do anything for her. “I’ll always come for you.” When she eased back, he framed her face with a hand. Swept his thumb over the bruise forming on her cheek. He bent in to be sure she was listening, she truly heard that. “Always.” I love that the advise at the end is don’t use your head. Listen to the spirit!! And let it guide you! ““Just take it from an old man. When the Spirit prompts, don’t ignore it.” I LOVE that is was HER to make the first move to go to HIM in the states!! She did the first kiss too!! And SHE was the first one to say ILY!!!! You go girl!!! I LOVE THR PROPOSAL. He takes her to her old house where they hung out in HS and showed her he had carved a H+D!! HE loved her even back then!! Then he was kneeling and proposing!! “Think you could be happy with a couple hammer-head soldiers like us?”

*I was given an eCopy from the publisher. This does not affect my review. This review is voluntary.*

After reading Riot, and seeing a sneak-peak of this one at the back, I was excited for the chance to read this one as well! As predicted, it was a blast and I loved getting to know Davis and Fury a little more, and getting to meet Hollyn along the way! There were a couple of things (mostly toward the end) that I really didn't care for and would have rather not been included, including a desired to speak to the graves of the deceased (even if the character admitted they didn't expect a response) and an instance of contemplative prayer. Both are forbidden in the Bible as they are mystic occult teachings that are often promoted in churches today under the title of 'New Ways to Experience God' aka, New Age or witchcraft...and necromancy... Yes, modern churches teach these, but they are both lies and are becoming far too common and accepted. Especially when I keep seeing them pop up in literature as well, and I've super picky about what I read because I truly want to avoid the false teachings going around so often lately... So, yeah that definitely wasn't a pleasant surprise, but sadly it's becoming expected lately and makes me almost afraid to try new books or authors anymore, because I know it will ruin the reading experience for me... I'm also not sure if it's better or worse that both occurred later in the story. I've been known for DNF books for similar, especially if it's in the first part of the book...but then again being closer to the end, while I finished this one I almost feel a little cheated, or perhaps tricked is a better word? Either way, I pray this review helps make people aware who already know to avoid these things, and pray that the authors and anyone else who might read this are made aware of the truth and beautify of God's Word, and are taught the dangers of these false teachings and wicked practices.

As for the rest of the story, it does talk about AI, but I found it interesting and liked that some of the dangers to the technology were also discussed. I do dislike AI, I'll admit that freely, but it was nice to see it mentioned that even when someone indented it for good, that there is still a danger to working with and releasing such technology. I loved seeing Hollyn grapple with this as she became more aware of the dangers that surrounded her. I also enjoyed meeting the team and getting to see Davis find his way after losing everything he thought he was made for. He was able to find new purpose and I loved getting to witness that! Overall, the story is the fast-paced and action-packed story I'd expect with this series and from a book with Ronie Kendig's name on it. It fits well with the other books, and I can see a lot of fans loving it!

That's also why I was led to add the word of caution in this one, as the Holy Spirit has been making the deception known, and many still don't realize even though these teachings are promoted in churches, doesn't mean they are from God/Yah or that He endorses them, often it's quite the opposite as we see in the Bible. I do read and enjoy fiction, but also study the Bible, and have found that with each passing day the Bible is essential to avoid the schemes of the enemy, as the days are dark and the lies are many. Please use discernment, read your Bibles, and even pray about the books you are going to read. Music, TV, everything. As scripture says: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)

Fury is an action-packed adventure that will keep you entertained, glued to the page, and leave you guessing! Before you pick up Fury by Ronie Kendig and Steffani Webb I must warn you: it is extremely hard to put down! I definitely lost sleep as I was reading "just one more chapter" until I finished the whole book ;). Fury by Ronie Kendig and Steffani Webb brings readers a high quality story full of adrenalin-packed adventure and intrigue. This continuation of A Breed Apart Legacy maintains the high reputation for excellence that has been established by Ronie Kendig and several up-and-coming authors. I was impressed by the plot complexity and the constantly changing threats and direction of attacks the protagonists faced.

I enjoy mysteries and especially being surprised as a reader, particularly as to the identity of the villain. Fury did give the reader many surprise twists and turns along the way. The way that the authors brought the military working dog into the storyline as a main character was excellent. I also appreciated the depth of the characters, their quirks, their interactions, and the various side characters with vastly different interests and backgrounds. The whole plot theme with a more technology-centered issue and threat brought a fresh perspective to suspense readers. I absolutely enjoyed the paramilitary group that Davis and Hollyn met up with along the way as well as the courage and bravery of both Davis and Hollyn. I highly recommend Fury and sincerely hope that you have the chance to read it!

Hollyn Reinhardt comes home from a spontaneous trip with friends to discover that her parents have both been killed in a highly suspicious accident. In an instant, Hollyn's entire world is shattered and she is left frozen in shock and grief. Living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as a well-renown AI scientist, Hollyn is suspicious that her work could be the reason for her parents' deaths. Once Hollyn realizes that her code has been stolen, she is even more certain that she has enemies out to get her or to hijack her code for nefarious purposes. Who is behind this terrible tragedy? Davis Ledger a ghost from Hollyn's past shows up on her doorstep, bringing her more confusion and vulnerability. Davis Ledger, a recently medically discharged Green Beret, hops on a plane when he is contacted about Hollyn his childhood friend. Davis happens to bring along his military working dog, Fury for the journey. Fury has been trained to search out electronics, which ends up being just the perfect help for Davis and Hollyn as they enter the ensuing cascade of danger, death threats, and mayhem. As Davis and Hollyn pursue her missing code and face constant dangers, they both realize that their renewed feelings for each other could make it hard to stay focused on the mission. Can they prevent the code from being put into the wrong hands? Can Hollyn and Davis learn how to fight their way out of the dangers? Will they be able to reconcile and grow together? Read Fury to discover an adventure you don't want to miss! Happy readings!

In Ronie Kendig's and Steffani Webb's latest A Breed Apart Legacy series, a fascinating locale is selected for the setting of Fury: Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. American Hollyn Reinhardt works alongside her parents in creating AI-based technology which can aid underwater exploration. When Hollyn's parents die unexpectedly in a car crash, Hollyn's first love Davis Ledger is asked by the estate attorney to come to Abu Dhabi to assist with the will and properties. And, of course, to provide support for Hollyn.

Davis is dealing with his own significant losses, after being separated from the Special Forces following a devastating mission gone wrong. Davis and his MWD (now RMWD) Fury are headed to Texas, for Fury to be newly trained at A Breed Apart. But just as Davis isn't ready to give up his military career, Fury isn't willing to work with anyone besides his former teammate. So when Hollyn needs Davis's help, that includes Fury's. Because he's not going anywhere with anyone except for Davis.

But when Davis and Fury get to Abu Dhabi and join Hollyn, more danger is in store for the three. Someone wants something from Hollyn. And they're willing to go to just about any length to get it. Can Davis and Fury keep her safe...and capture the perpetrators? If they can't, it may mean more loss for Hollyn than just her parents. It might mean her very life.

Join Kendig and Webb for another fast-paced and exciting A Breed Apart book. You'll be rooting for Davis and Hollyn, and you're going to fall in love with Fury!

Hollyn Reinhardt's world has been rocked off its axis after she learns of her parents' deaths. Her only source of comfort is her two best friends and a blast from the past by the name of Davis Ledger.

Davis Ledger is a former Green Beret who has arrived in town with his RMWD, Fury. He has been medically discharged by the military, and he is completely lost. The military was his entire life. When he receives word that Hollyn's parents are dead and he needs to get to Abu Dahbi immediately, he does not know what to expect. However, he does not blink an eye and think about saying no. He just heads that way.

I had a feeling something was amiss, but I was not sure where this story was headed. A wild ride is what I got. There is something dangerous percolating beneath the surface.

This was an exciting mystery with complex levels. Hollyn is brilliant, but what she possesses could be very dangerous in the wrong hands. I admired Hollyn's level of handling herself and keeping her head about what was needed while also grieving the loss of her parents. When I imagine Davis, I think of Captain America. He was a true hero in every sense of the word, and would not hesitate to give his life for another. Fury steals the show in many scenes with his innate abilities as a RMWD as his expertise shines through. This is another great installment in the Breed Apart series. If you enjoy a good mystery with heroes of the two-legged kind and four-legged kind, you will enjoy this book and this entire series.

Author Steffani Webb (under the mentorship of Ronie Kendig) has delivered a thrilling, action-packed new release that will have romantic suspense readers and dog-lovers alike devouring the pages!

From the explosive beginning to the sweet, heartwarming ending, this book had me captivated. I adored Davis, a medically-released soldier and his RMWD, Fury. Their bond and companionship were the perfect duo as they navigated the waters of life after the Army and finding new purpose.

Female lead Hollyn was a sweet balance to the rough edges of the dog/handler duo with her intelligent, scientific background and heartbreaking past. I found each of the characters to be well-rounded and likable and enjoyed the handful of appearances from other beloved characters from past books.

The suspense and intensity of this story stayed strong throughout the pages, keeping me on the edge of my seat and making this a great addition to a series I've really enjoyed. The romance thread was strong and I liked that it remained consistent throughout the story as well coming to a sweet, satisfying conclusion. There are doses of humor and sarcasm strewn throughout the book, keeping it authentic and entertaining while balancing the darker aspects.

Overall, a definite recommendation from me to readers who enjoy fast-paced military working dog stories with threads of faith, family, teamwork and romance. If you love a race-against-time or a friends-t0-lovers trope, do not miss this new release!

Fury by Ronie Kendig and Steffanie Webb read like an American suspense novel. Even though the story’s setting takes place in another country, it read like it was happening on American soil. The setting jumped off the pages of the story. I have never been out of America, but it felt like I was sitting in this foreign country watching all these occurrences unfold. Plenty of mystery, action, and romance to wet any reader’s appetite. The mystery was nicely handled. I liked the clues left for the heroine by her father. Nicely handled. I loved the back story of the two main characters especially their past and how they have risen above the circumstances. I love how strong both characters were internally and externally. Even though there were moments where they wanted to give up and just crash, they kept plowing forward. Webb and Kendig did keep spiritually close to the chest for the characters. It was important to who they were; they just needed to remember that and keep depending on this to get them through the tough times. Overall, Fury by Ronie Kendig and Steffani Webb is a non-stop action story with heart and characters that I really enjoyed spending time with. Highly recommend this novel.

High suspense with even higher emotions had me feeling all the feels with Fury, the fourth book in the A Breeds Apart: Legacy series. There are moments that are incredibly intense, the emotion so vivid that I could feel the anxiety and fear vibrating with my being.

My heart hurt so much for Hollyn and all of the immense loss that she’s had to endure in her life. There are so many twists and turns in this novel and one revelation in particular was a complete shock to me. I truly wasn’t expecting it at all and oh how I love getting blind sighted like that! Davis and Fury are the perfect heroes and anchor this story perfectly and I loved the whole storyline.

If I’m honest, I would’ve liked this just as a suspense better, and left the romance for another story. Sure, it was sweet, and no one deserves a happily ever after more than Hollyn and Davis, but I would’ve rather had more action and less cliché in the love department. Still, I enjoyed this novel greatly and think this series continues to get better and better with each installment.

Fury, A Breed Apart: Legacy book four by Ronie Kendig and Steffani Webb is an action-packed Christian suspense thriller. Technology worth killing for, then selling on the black market is at the heat of this story. It is also a romance but the focus remains true to the stopping of the stealing and selling of important, critical new technology. Hollyn’s father makes it clear that no one is to be trusted except for Davis. Good advice this turns out to be.

Sadly, I found Hollyn Reinhardt to be lacking as a heroine. While not socially inept, she was naive at best in her thinking and disrespectful of those who were putting their lives in danger to protect her. Still God is faithful. However, Davis Ledger and his K-9partner, Fury fit the hero description perfectly in my book. As Davis strives to solve this this case, he finds that success must include looking to God for help. No forces of evil can stand against God as this story shows again and again. I o appreciated the turning to God for help by the main characters as well as Davis’s spiritual growth. A great read for suspense thriller fans!

I have really come to enjoy Romantic Thriller books. FURY by Ronie Kendig is Book 4 in the Breed Apart series. I have read a couple other books in this series and have been anxiously waiting for this book.

WOW, this book had me captivated within the first few pages. The main characters in the book are Hollyn Reinhardt, Former Green Beret Davis Ledger and Fury, retired Military Working Dog. Hollyn loses both of her parents in a suspicious death. She is in Abu Dhabi and very worried about her safety. Davis hears of her troubles and rushes to Avu Dhabi to be by her side and help her. FURY is with Davis and his part in the mystery solving and story was so precious. I really LOVE that Davis wants to be there for Hollyn and help her through the tragedies of her life right now. Davis is also going through some personal issues having been medically discharged from Military. A very fast-paced book with lots of action and many twists and turns. The book is filled with Mystery, Suspense, Romance, and Faith. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance Mystery Suspense! AMAZING BOOK!

This is an excellent action filled addition to the series.
Hollyn is working with her father on a revolutionary AI program. Just as they are finishing the final pieces both her adoptive parents and killed in a car accident.
Davis is a military WMD handler who has been on medical leave since an incident that killed his best friend and his WMD. He is rehabbing with Fury, his deceased best friend’s WMD, and both have been recently discharged from the military. He brings Fury to A Breed Apart to give him a new home where he can do the work he loves.
When Davis gets word that his childhood friend’s parents have been killed, he goes rushing to Hollyn’s side. They are both swept into a high stakes race to keep the final pieces of the AI program from landing in the wrong hands.
These characters are realistic and each have their own struggles with believing in their worth. Both turn to God, and his plan, to help them in their struggles.

I received an early copy of this book from the publisher in return for an honest review.

I love this series. I love the relationship between the military working dogs and their handlers. This story is about Fury and Davis. Davis is medically discharged after an op went bad. Fury is still in need of working as he is trained to do. Davis is offered a job at A Breed Apart but doesn't really know if he wants it. When he finds out his, as close a parents were killed he flies to Abu Dhabi to be with their daughter, Hollyn. Hollyn and Davis have always secretly loved each other but didn't act or acknowledge those feelings. When they find things are what they seemed with Hollyn's parents death, Davis and Fury join with a military team to hunt down the killers.
This is a thrill ride from start to finish. I loved the twists and turns and the relationships that developed throughout the book. I am looking forward to the next book.

I have really enjoyed this series. I liked how in this book Davis and Hollyn had to work through their individual issues in order to find happiness. I also liked the suspense in this story and how they figured out who was behind things and were able to stop it. I thought the story was gripping and had me on the edge of my seat as I read. I also loved Fury as a character. I loved how although he is a well trained military dog, he also had a sweet, funny side to him. I liked how he helped Davis to loosen up some. I also liked how Davis and Hollyn’s romance was a second chance at love story and how that all worked out. I really like these books and would recommend them.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

My favorite part about this series is that you never know what's going to happen next. The authors keep me on my toes in the best possible way and I almost never figure out the ending until it's revealed.

This novel felt a little different than the other three in the series. The case was a lot more personal and very emotionally charged for Davis and Hollyn. I loved that these two were brought back together and I enjoyed the glimpes into their past as they reconnected. Despite the different feel, I really enjoyed it!

The case was so intense, I could not stop reading. There were a couple of times it had me tearing up, sitting on the edge of my seat and fuming with frustration! All in all, Steffani created an amazing mystery and I loved the romance between Davis and Hollyn that was nicely weaved into the story.
