Given to the Mafia Boss is book two in the Marrying the Mob series and offers the reader its first taste of the mafia life. Switching places with her sister, the FMC Bria puts aside her hatred for the MMC Luciano and agrees to complete the terms for an arranged marriage.
Written in 1st person, with dual POVs, the reader takes off on this whirlwind dark mafia romance.
My favorite part of this book was the unwavering fierceness from Bria. Constantly forced to prove herself due to the simple fact of being a woman, Bria refuses to let anyone or anything come between her and the present goal. On the other hand, Luciano, the future husband and loathsome enemy is one encounter Bria did not fully prepare for.
Accustomed to proving his masculinity and dominance, Luciano is prepared to marry the docile and compliant Montrelli sister, he didn't bargain for the headstrong Bria. He was also unprepared for how fiery their attraction would be for one another.
I read a lot of dark romance and mafia stories, so I am thankful this story wasn't a carbon copy of something else I have read before. However, what held this one back a bit for me was I was hoping for a bit more tension/angst between the two MCs. There was a bit of push/pull but I'm selfish and wanted that heat turned up a few more notches first. I wanted it to be palpable. That being said, I still really enjoyed this story and will be continuing the remainder of the series.
I am a huge Cora Masters fan, so you know I had to snag myself a copy of this story.
Highly recommend their wide range of books available! If you love your stories DARK AF, please give their Playhouse Horrors series a chance. One of my absolute favorites.

An exceptionally written story that has drama, suspense, intrigue, thrills, action and steamy spicy romance with characters that jump off the pages and also a real page turner.
A story about two mafia families coming together through an arranged marriage. From the beginning two who were getting married had feelings for one another but they were both strong willed so they clashed alot.
The mafia princess who was her family’s underboss wanted to become the don of the family even though women becoming dons didn’t happen. She was upset that her father went to their rivals, the same man who killed her brother a while back.
The rival family’s underboss went along with his father’s agreement about putting the two families together but he was lyre about it. The underboss was happy that the woman he was arranged to marry wasn’t a meek mafia princess but rather a woman who could hold her own and was smart, beautiful and resourceful.
Throughout the story the two get even closer and they work well together trying to deal with the merging of the two families as well as trying to solve who is human trafficking in their territories since neither family condone it.
At the end they marry even though things have happened that should have had them postpone the wedding but both decided that they wanted to be together. The couple love one another and are happy to be with one another. After the wedding and a fast honeymoon that wound up coming to an end due to things happening at home. The newlyweds come back, tend to business and save the day.

Bria was the undernoss of her Mafia family. Her father had made arrangements to hand over her twin sister for an arranged marriage with the Enemy. The family that had previously killed her little brother. So she decided to take her sister's place. Luciano was the man that she was to marry. Neither of them expected to like each other. It turns out they did but on her way to his house there was an attempt on her life. That was just the first of many. Well I found this book to be really good there was several discrepancies in the book. One of the more glaring ones was after the incident at the church and she talked about her father finally doing the right thing and putting his arm around his wife her mother to comfort her. But then right after that it says she texted her sister and told her sister that her and her mother needed to hurry up and get to the room that they were in because they're about to make an announcement. Even with the discrepancies that I did find in the book I found it really pleasurable.

From the author of my favorite Horrormance, Playhouse of Horrors, comes this suspenseful and gripping Mafia Romance.
Given to the Mafia Boss is the second book in the Marrying the Mob series. It could be read as a standalone. This had hurt/comfort, which I honestly need to read more of because I find I enjoy it a lot. There is also an arranged marriage between rivaling families. The tension between the enemy love interests is fantastic.
I have enjoyed everything I have read by Cora Masters.

I just finished Given to the Mafia Boss This morning . I found this book while entertaining and well written, the pacing at times was dragging and the ending felt rushed is why I rated this book 3 stars . I wanted more and hopefully will see that in the 3rd book . I enjoyed the seeing the characters relationship develop and the spice was spicing . I also was grateful for the action/ suspense scenes in the book. I do still will recommend this author to anyone that enjoys dark romance .

This book is a thrill ride filled with lots of drama, violence, steam, heated moments, unexpected twists and turns, and passion that makes this book one heck of a read. I was not only glued to my kindle but my couch until I had it finished. Be warned and prepared for Bria and Luciano's story to really capture your full and undivided attention.

I love this author writing so much! I devoured this book, the danger, twists, and angst between these characters will have you binging this book! Definitely recommend checking out more of her work you will not be disappointed!!

Okay, so I loved this book. The storyline was well thought out and the “twist” at the end was entertaining to read.
If you like mafia romances, forced proximity romances or arranged marriage romances this book has all of that.

I loved how this book had suspense , thrills , action and spicy romance all in one. I thought this was a very well written book with a great twist and story. I love getting a chance to read this book. I thought the story line was really interesting and it kept me hooked the entire time.

This was a really good mafia read with many twists! Bria and Luciano were made for this arranged marriage. I loved the characters so much. I would love to get Elanas story and Carinas story! I highly recommend check TW/CW!

Loved the change where the the MFC Bria had the respect of the men because she was the Underboss and demanded and earned it and not just because she's the mafia princess.
