All realities exist. You experience the one you focus on.This insight came to me many years ago while out on a hike. I wrote it down. I pondered its meaning. It never left me. But it wasn't until I began using TikTok and experienced an algorithm firsthand that the message clicked. The content already exists - all of it. What we are creating, then, isn't so much a reality but a reality feed. We draw from all potentials to customize a story unlike any other - using our consciousness.
It sounds pretty straight-up and straightforward, doesn't it? One giant algorithm giving undivided attention to us and responding accordingly. Pulling from all possibilities to assemble a match to the data we're providing. Registering our emotions, beliefs, drives, stored trauma, history, culture, biology, circumstances, memories, attitudes, and responses. And the influence of our Light. We're not talking a little information here; we're talking truckloads.
What's a creator to do? Step up and swing the bat (not by controlling the variables) but by finding thoughts that move energy.
I can’t believe none of the other reviews here have mentioned the part where the author/teacher admits to being arrested for an inappropriate relationship with a minor/student. I didn’t feel the need to get anymore spiritual guidance from her after reading that.
Julie is right that this won’t be for everyone, but I trust it will draw in those who can appreciate its thought provoking wisdom. I don’t think I’ve ever read an LOA book that I’ve aligned with so deeply. It’s hard to pick out only a few gems. Some of the ideas I’ve of course heard before having read so many LOA books over the years. I have heard it before but somehow when Julie tells me that “We are never alone” and “we are not unknown,” I believe her and I’m comforted. So much of what she talks about resonates and inspires deeper thought. I highly recommend this book if you’re over reading LOA/SPIRITUAL books that are take offs of takeoffs. This one is truly an original. I’m looking forward (excitedly) to the next one.
"No one forces our hand and we are not at the mercy of a world apart from us."
One of the many nuggets of insight that resonated with me.
I am glad this book found its way to me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ease of understanding what she has expressed with the medium of the written word, and what for me has also been ease of digestibility of concepts and thoughts largely already a part of my reality.
Sometimes it's just nice to find something that articulates what one already feels in many ways.
I encountered this book from a social media ad. The title and cover art appealed to my tastes so I added it to my Wishlist for Christmas gifts. I am far from disappointed. While it took me a bit to adjust to the jargon, the candid and generous nature of the prose kept me enthralled. I took my time and digested each thought at leisure. It is a truly enjoyable read and one I will return to soon because I feel there is more to be gleaned from rereading these pages.
Caught up in her words, identifying with her Light. She has an amazing gift that she has shared. Will be my go-to for help in today’s terrifying world. She lends courage and gives me faith that humanity will survive. I found someone who thinks and feels as I do but speaks in words that deepened my convictions. She brings an honest base of self that is refreshing. To me, this book teaches how to accept our lives for what they are meant to be.
It is well written and everyone with an open mind should read it. Learn from it and connect with others based on these truths. It moves me in away I always known about, but was never able to express. I think we all have this ability to connect and she inspires me to do so!
A fascinating book, easy reading but hitting on deep subjects needing thought. A definite re-read for me. I like the inclusion of her personal stories although some are a bit long but I know how to scroll. it's an every person's book but a valuable for people new to spirituality. I understand she is doing a 2nd part?
To many stories, not getting more details of the light and energy.
I did like your views on religion. Being raised in catholic schools you are to follow with no questions. I did enjoy your book but to many stories and not enough details of how you use light and energy.
I love how honest and open the writer is about her struggles and emotions along her progression through life and learning about how to create a life she wants to be apart of. Very well written, I have captured many quotes for my commonplace book.
Like I mentioned in the title truth is relative to one's experiences. We are creators with each thoughts, actions, and beliefs. Change Your thinking you will change your reality. a l
It started out well but then got repetitive and had a lot of anecdotes about the authors own life and seemed more like a journal to me. Not bad if you can stay focused on the principals.
Well written and so honest. Acceptance, awareness and appreciation. That’s what I needed to be reminded of. Thank you for your inspiring words, friend!
