From the first scene in the prologue through the book’s exciting conclusion, this story had me captivated. How and why is a deacon with a guilty conscience involved with a bioweapon that can target individual enemies? When a vial of that weapon goes missing from a shut-down program, who has it and who is the intended target? Private Investigator Lucas Holt is determined to find out and, if possible, to track down and neutralize the weapon before it reaches its target. But it won’t be easy. Since the target is someone in the highest echelons of government, whoever is behind the conspiracy will do anything to stop Holt.
Intrigue and mystery lead to non-stop action, with obstacles at every turn. Coupled with well-developed characters and excellent writing, the plot twists make this story impossible to put down until the end. I highly recommend this book!
