Tips and Tangents for Mathematics Teachers

This book is a collection of activities I have created and collected from other teachers. Sometimes, I don’t even remember or know who inspired me. Some activities retain names of authors, editors, and texts, but I admit that I have, as a teacher, been an omnivore and have not recorded attributions for everything I have used. I provide organized, usable, engaging, modular, and adaptable activities in this collection. I explain how I have used them in my classes. I make no claims to fantastical success as that depends on so much more than the mathematics teacher. I recognize that my engagement in the creative process of teaching mathematics has kept me smiling and interested even when my students express their disinterest in mathematics.
