First I will say I love this series! Whenever I feel like I’m in a slump these books have become an uplifting escape and I always look forward to the next. I also love all these characters and how they have developed. Honestly the only thing bad I’d have to say is I felt Shaq was a bit forgotten about like in the last Warden fight. Also I don’t know how I feel about what happened with Ben. With all the chaos energy at Noah’s fingertips and with Ben’s restore, I don’t understand how he couldn’t restart his heart. Also the rest of the crew being ok with the clone I get but I think Matt would have wanted Ben to finally rest.

First, I'd like to say that, if you haven't read the original story - Starship for Sale - you really need to do that first. There is so much here that you won't truly understand otherwise.
Having said that, this series follows in a similar vane, but is truly a new story arc in a different universe. These books mind me of a cross between Starship Troopers and Hitchiker's Guide, though with more drama. Book 5 brought a follows of shockers I truly didn't see coming - which is always welcome.
This is the best SF series I have read in many years !
I read over 100 mostly SF books a year and this series is probably in my top 2 among any author. I could not put it down. The characters and the storyline were so Ritch and detailed I felt like part of the story. It’s that good.
The plot was good , with a fairly fast pace. It's great that the story actually comes to a finish. Lots of these types of books on Amazon have plots that go on endlessly with no conclusion. I'm reading one by another author now that is in its 25th book. If it doesn't come to a finish with this one, I'm out. I will be checking out other books by Forbes.
Awesome story, great conclusion, and I highly recommend this whole series! I was hoping to read more from the "Starship For Sale" series, and I'm grateful for M.R. Forbes writing this series in that universe.
When I first started reading this series I wasn't sure I would like it. But the more read the story got better and before I new it I couldn't put the books down till they were done. Thank you for an incredible series.
This was an absolutely wonderful tale. It helped me come to grips with a few personal issues as well. Absolutely inspired writing. Keep up the good work. Read the entire series.
I usually resist giving books 5 stars unless they are really, REALLY, excellent. I just loved the way the author tied this series in with so many of their other works. And, because of that tie-in, and the author’s penchant for revisiting characters, I’m fairly confident this is not the last we will see of this engaging crew.
Twists and surprises, loved this series. Left me wanting more, the camaraderie and friendships, betrayals, comeuppance and adventure. It was a fun and enduring read.
It started a little slow by but boy, once it got going I couldn't put it down. Great read and will be getting another of his books. Don't miss out on this one.
