Managing Overthinking
MP3 CD Format
Get your mind unstuck.
It can be challenging to be mindful when you're trapped in your own head. Overthinking comes in many forms--overanalysis, perfectionism, worry, rumination--and each of these can be harmful to your productivity and well-being at work.
This book will teach you how to understand what type of overthinking you are experiencing, realize when you're cycling in a mental loop, and break free so that you can trust your gut, make a decision, and move forward with confidence.
This volume includes the work of Alice Boyes, Melody Wilding, Thomas H. Davenport, and Sian Beilock.

Meh. Should’ve known from the length that this can’t go into detail. Some interesting ideas but repetitive and shallow. I blame the bookshop for ranking it this week’s number one book.

Becoming too common of a hbr book - very generic and broad based thoughts and no depth. What you could have covered in a single paragraph blog, hbr has made it into a a commercial book

can see how this would be useful to introduce people in the corporate sphere to techniques/ tools to support mental health. don't think I am the target audience for this as I found it quite shallow and meh

Some interesting essays in overthinking but book would have been a lot better if an editor had been involved in unifying them in some way
