This 'bookazine' is all about the history of Target books & how important they were to Doctor Who. Every classic Target novelization gets a short write up, and individual writers get recognized with longer articles. It was pretty cool to see that newer novelizations of classic stories (like Evil of the Daleks & Shada) were included, as well as updated/revised versions (like Warriors' Gate And Beyond & the TV movie).
There are numerous "Why I Love" mini articles sprinkled throughout, where various writers (for classic & new Who) talk about their favorite Target books. The newest novelization covered is "The Church on Ruby Road", and even the Sarah Jane Adventures novelizations are covered.
The most interesting article for me was "Targeting Targets", covering the collecting culture around the books. It's a fun overview of the US & also various other international editions (that Japanese artwork for Doctor Who and the Auton Invasion is certainly different!).
Definitely a recommended read, if you were (or still are) a fan of Target novelizations.

This is a Target novel enthusiast's dream. I love it. A comprehensive collection of all the Target novels including photos of every single edition of every single one, along with comments from a multitude of Who alumni including fans, cover artists, authors, actors and more.

DWM has really been hitting wickets over and over this past year with their special issues.
