I've never read a book as hilarious and entertaining as this one. This is the kind of books that you need to experience, especially if things in your real life aren't all roses at the moment.
In a series of unpredictable events happening one after another, you'll follow the lives of interesting characters that may or may not be like your neighbor next door. You'll learn a lot from them, including how to make ultimate lists that aren't silly at all. Your journey through the pages will be additionally enjoyable because it's decorated with wonderful little illustrations of lipsticks, paws, gifts, and other symbols of great significance to Pritty.
This world needs more people like Pritty. She is authentic, quirky, and caring. Giddy and naive just enough to go through life with a big smile on her face, which helps her avoid the cruelty of people who don't like her, mostly because she dares be herself and they don't, and she's so colorful and they're not. Her remarks, ideas, and views often live on the borderline of less-than-average intelligence, which might irritate some, but it's a great reminder that it's all about our perception. She simply isn't bothered by anything that makes adulthood [so] awful. And when she has to be, she'll add a pinch of pritty magic to whatever she's about to do and enjoy the process, her way. Pritty's life is a collection of rainbows, lipsticks, gowns, ornaments, and scents. Her world is unlike the worlds of her co-citizens. Because Pritty isn't afraid to be herself, where most grown-ups today will try to conceal every bit that makes them different. And while this cheerful, carefree lady with a cat might seem like too much at times, it's only because society thinks everyone should be less expressive and more worried. This isn't to say she's disliked by everyone, not at all. People who get to know her better change their minds eventually. You can't not like this woman.
Overall, it was great to dive into Pritty's adventures and visit her corner of the planet. Definitely, this world needs more people her.
I had to update my rating because I just couldn’t stop talking about this book whether it was good or bad or what it was but you’re not gonna forget it.
……………………………..
This is a super quirky book. But I don’t know if I love it or hate it. You’ll have to read it for yourself. Wow just wow as this book went on I was at a loss for words.
This chick sells cardboard boxes, but not any cardboard boxes sale lady oh no she is a singing one. Who also happens to lines dance and has a cat named Hank. Pritty is way to happy and positive like annoying like and not to smart it seems, and very naive.
Who’s needs 200 shades of lipstick?
“Eat my boots lyndaa sugar”
“Lyndaa told the group to post is called downward dog. I wanted to bark out loud, but didn’t want to risk losing my dear friend again”
Literally this book had me laughing out loud highly recommend!!! I read it as i was laying down for the night stayed up all night and finished the book. this was one book I kept saying "one more chapter" but it ended up being the whole ebook lol. This book i could not and i mean could not put down. I need me a cat like Hank tho and friends like coral and just the enjoyment of Pritty in my everyday life. who doesn't like fun times, make up,and just pure joy?! i would recommend this book to anyone including kids.
What a funny laugh out loud book. Pritty is an eccentric lady who has her way of doing things. They are unconventional and quirky but they work for her. One day I was reading this book and I was laughing. My husband was upstairs and he heard me lol. I started telling him about this book and he said it sounded good. If you want a book that will put a smile on your face and brighten up your day, then you need to read this. I highly recommend it.
This book hooks you in from the first page until the end. The creativity it takes to add such colour and authenticity to each character takes such imagination and skill. At first glance, this book might seem like a light little read, and it is. It’s not meant to be taken too seriously, I don’t think. But this book is also a metaphor for life and how we can learn to lighten up, and also not take ourselves too seriously, and allow our authentic light to shine through, no matter what anyone thinks or says. That’s a superpower. I think the author allows each of these quirky characters to shine their unique light and what a gift that is to the world. Thank you for this sweet little tale that makes us laugh and cry and have such compassion for each other. Lyndaa Sugar was my favourite! Can’t wait to see how Pritty’s life evolves.
I want to be the main character in this book. She's stress free, doesn't care about what others think of her and lives in lala land! She is the best friend anyone could ever have and is a cat lover, which is a total plus to me! This book takes you on an adventure of a fun & witty woman who adores her crush, Mr. Scooter (everyone gets a nick name) She's completely head over heels for him and would do anything to smother him in lip stick.
It's a fun rom-com. Not a book I'd usually read (Tsk-Tsk), but when the author, Gloria Jane, reached out to me to donate it to my Little Free Library, I was excited to read it. It's a quick read and the pages are the cutest, it's Hanks little paw for me😊. We picked this book as our current read in our book club, "Book Babes, with the author " and Author, Gloria Jane (who lives in my city) will be joining us. At our book club meeting we have the option of dressing up as something or someone from the book. I choose lipstick 💄. I ordered some 💋 leggings with a cute lipstick t shirt. Gloria has a big future for this book and I'm excited to see what's ahead!
EDIT: I was just forwarded an email by the author to sign up for the books newsletter! I just subscribed and its so fun! This author has really put a lot into this!
