This is probably the best tafsir of Surah Yusuf that I have come across in English, well worth reading.

The day I started reading this, that same day not long after the most unimaginable thing happened and broke me to pieces. Subhanallah, reading this aided me through some of the process of healing.
“The greater the slave's value in the sight of Allah, the greater the test He makes him go through.”
The story of yusuf A.S is such a great and heartfelt story makes you wonder if our problems are really even problems. The tawakul and yaqeen the prophets had is one I can only wish for ❤️✨
Regardless to say that this is subhanallah a great must read!
Allah surely tests those he loves with hardship and may Allah reward those greatly who go through these hardships with the remembrance of Allah with yaqeen and tawakul.
Ameen.

Sheikh Dr Sajid Umar's (phD in Fiqh and a qualified judge) deep knowledge and engagement with Surah Yusuf shows in this work. There is something for both the advanced student of knowledge to take away from -- whether in Arabic language or fiqh or aqidah -- and the layman to benefit from the book overall.
The only nitpick I have is that some of the visual breaks and calls to action can be a bit excessive (do we need to have a 'Transformative Wisdom' block at every subchapter?).
May Allah reward the author and those involved in the book.
