Gladys hated her life, and especially her body. She was always seeking a way out. She thought perhaps she had found it when the old book came into her possession. Unfortunately, in order to escape she must die. But then, just perhaps, she could take over another body. She unfortunately did not think through all the potential consequences. This is a tale with a moral, and yet another wonderful story from Ruby Jean Jensen. Note that this book was published prior to Ruby Jean fixing on Horror, and is best classified as belonging to the Occult genre.
A very interesting read about a crippled unloved woman who uses witchcraft to take over the body of a beautiful young woman. However, she soon finds that it isn't all it's cracked up to be and that she is doing more harm to the young woman then she intended to.
