While this book obviously seems slightly outdated in some numbers and maybe facts, there is so much truth I am gathering from it and many other sources, including my own body which is what has begun my research into the vegetarian diet. My body can no longer handle meat, and while I have never had any issues with vegetarian diets, I NEVER thought I would do it, simply because I love some meat too much. But thanks to my body's natural ability to NOT handle meat well, (& desire to pursue more spiritual more intently) I am now learning so much about how I don't need or want to eat meat. To help my self AND others. haha But this book is full of great information even if you are not seriously considering going vegetarian. Highly recommend to all.

I was given this book by a friend in 2016. It is a quick read. I definitely tried and did a few new things regarding my vegetarian lifestyle after reading this book. I will say that for 2016 this book is quite outdated and somethings may not work or be as accurate today.

This is the first time i read such a book and i am happy i did. It was recommended to me by a dear monk from India for whom i am grateful. This book changed my perception of food and sources of vitamins and minerals. If you thought that meat is the only source of protein, well think again or read this book. My resolution for 2019 is to slowly turn into a vegetarian life style.
