Hi, I’m Luka!
I accidentally wished for all the men I desire, and now I’m constantly overthinking/second guessing things.
Is it truly love at first sight? Did a friend just stab me in the back? Is being poisoned the new thing? And did that cat just deliver me a letter? With more attention on me than ever before I need to figure out if I can trust these feelings, even though these men can be pretty insistent, and I am just one weak stableboy starved for them.

This is a mm, why choose, fantasy-romance series. It includes explicit scenes meant for audiences over 18. Expect witches/wizards, magic, shifters, gods/goddesses, steam and lots of fun, as you follow Luka, who can be a little awkward at times.

This was a great story. Unique MM harem with fated mates

Luca having wished to have multiple mates to suit his needs.

Overtime he ends up meeting

We also have some mystery and intrigue as well from the kingdom they are in

This was a fun sweet book. Greta world building. I loved the familiars they had too.

Great side characters

I'm interested to see what occurs in the 2nd book.

"I felt Kian’s warmth sucking me in and out while simultaneously feeling Ray’s hard cock rubbing in and out of me."
A Luka sandwich 🥵

This was so fluffy n cute. I enjoyed it.
Luka wishes for all the men his heart desires. How many mates will he end up with?? I love Ray and Kian, but I'm dying to know who his secret admirer is!?!? (PLEASE BE TITUS)

The plot is juicy.. Someone close to the king is posioning the kingdom.
Who can Luka trust??

Fantasy and why choose. On paper I was going out of my comfort zone with this one. And yet, it felt like coming home in some strange way. Because even though this is fantasy, it is so much more. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it was done so beautifully in this book🩷🩷 I was absolutely swept away to this universe, and pretty much devoured this book. I went through all the feels on the way and you know me—I love a book that can make me feel all the feels. Highly recommend checking out this series. 💕💕💕

Luka is Adorable!!

This was such a cute fun read! I loved Luka he was so adorably naive and oblivious. This was such a fun magical world to loose yourself in. The plot definitely kept you engaged and there were some surprising twists I didn’t see coming. I loved the mystery of Lukas Mates! I can’t wait to find out who the other maters are in book 2! Definitely would recommend!

Interesting story, poor execution
Everything happens so fast… I can’t even fall in love with the characters….. it’s like listening to a 5 years old telling you a story, jumping from one thing to another. :/

Dnf around 30%
Kissing for the first time, discovering your fated mates, and then having a mates bond by kissing….. when the MC was so oblivious he did not realized he was being courted 5min before ? Yeah…. So romantic 😒

DNF @ 50% because I just couldn't continue. This needed some serious editing, not just grammatically but also everything was just so rushed with very little explanation.

Really Promising First Novel

I give this book a strong 3.5/5 stars!

While there were some grammatical errors and pacing issues which is the reason for the 1.5 stars off, the premise and imagination put into the book greatly outweighed anything else. If a book has grammar mistakes, that alone will usually cause me to DNF it, but the story in this book was so interesting and promising that I devoured it in less than a day. I can’t wait to see how this author grows as she continues to write, and I can’t wait for the next book!

im so glad I read this book. im sucker for any mm, and with why choose, it made it even better.

the friendships in it were so good, especially Sheena she is an amazing friend and truly loved and cared about Luka like a real friend does .

Alvin and Princess Sophia suck.

ray omg I love him so much he the right amount of swoony and he is exactly what Luka deserves & more .

Kian is on a different level but just as perfect as Ray .

I just loved every second reading it

Very nice!

This is my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it! I love why choose romances especially fantasies and I thought this was really well done. There were a few small typos, such as Quest instead of guest, but it did not take you out of the story at all. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I really loved this book u meet Luka and then his mates one by one and it ends in a cliffhanger. The relationships between all the main characters and even a ome of the side characters are developed well. In this book u meet shifters witches gods kings princes and servants of all types. It's really good.

not sure what I was expecting but it exceeded it!

As a lover of romance and fantasy of all types I was quickly pulled into the story and fell in love with the characters. It has taken me less than 2 days to read (as well as working) as I couldn’t put down. It is different to what I have read before and I really enjoyed it. Trying to guess what will happen next without success which is great. Can’t wait to read the next one now!

“Well, in that case, I wished I could have all the men I desire!”
- "done"

Series: Wishing For Mates - Book 1: The Wish. #MM

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Spice rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ / 5 (18+)

Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Erotic Romance, LGBTQ+ Romance

First things first, this is my first ever MM, and this book had all my attention right from the start till the end ( I am not exaggerating ).

This book takes us to a whole new world where there are witches and wizards, familiars and shifters, and MATES.

I was so engaged in the book that I almost completed in a day - kudos to the author, she did a great job portraying the friendships , relationships and emotions - love, lust, passion.

* A teeny-tiny spoiler if you consider this as one *

This story revolves around the protagonist Luka, who got his wish granted by the goddess (THE WISH) and their kingdom is prone to betrayals and attack by dark magic with conspirators within their walls - which is so perfectly blend with one another. And nothing could have prepared me for the ending which had me thrilled and ended up giving me goosebumps.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series to see how the story unravels further!

So I was given this series to do an honest review of book 3. But I loved this book so I had to review!! There are not enough why choose books out there! So I couldn't put this book down, I loved the story line. It was not political which I find can be the case when a book is set in a castle. In short read it... spice lvl 3 of 5

Luca and his men

Great start to the series.

Luca wishes for all the men his heart desires and the next day his mates start rolling in!

There’s a lot going on in this book, Luca barely gets a break from this non-stop action ride. Good thing his mates can keep up with him.

Two sad stars

I wanted to like this book, so badly! But I think I did this to myself. I just finished reading all the Sent to a Fantasy World books, which were fantastic, then sadly this one didn’t compare.
The premise is perfect: a guy who makes a wish to get his mate, only he won’t have only one. MM harems are so much fun, I can’t resist them. So I gave it a try.
The plot is very interesting, it has magic, witches, fae, shifters. There are familiars and healers. A lot of things happening and the mates situation was cute.
However, the execution was not good. It read like your 5yo little sister telling you about her day. No flow, choppy pace, not enough depth in the characters. Very Wattpady 😬
And I’m sad because I want to know about the other mates, but I don’t want to keep reading.

Interesting Story-Not great delivery **SPOILERS**

The premise and story is good but the author really needs someone to edit and proofread before releasing the book. There are so many mistakes it pulled me away from immersion. Also, while I love there being conflicts and the mc being saved, there should be a limit how many times per chapter. The ending honestly made me laugh because why have the big bad come in and be insta killed and resolved within 1 page? I may try the 2nd book just to see if the issues I mentioned have been fixed.

Sigh. 2.5 stars rounded up, mostly because I liked the idea of the book. However, reading this was like reading a first draft that was published by mistake. I almost DNF several times, but pushed through, and I can’t decide if I should have or not. The plot only sort of made sense, and the characters lacked depth and connection. I’m teetering back and forth about whether to give the rest of the series a chance, because there really is potential buried in there, but I am not sure how willing I am to dig for it. I don’t want the reading experience to mirror the first book.

This was so very choppy and disjointed. There's zero world building. Characters are flat and remain that way throughout. There is no main plot. Things happen and scenes change and that's about it. There is no emotion, no bonding - either between the characters or between the readers and the characters. I'd think it was AI written except for all the grammatical errors. Then again, I've seen some bot written works and they're still really bad about grammar, so...
Oh, and there should be trigger warnings for attempted SA. Even if the villains are 2D caricatures readers deserve the warning.

Interesting...but

So i like the idea of this story and the characters. Hence the stars. However, editing is a must. This story needed not only grammatical editing but also content as some areas just didn't flow very well. Things also felt a bit forced and didn't have that natural flowing progression that marks great stories. I see potential with this book but it definitely needs a good once over with a good editor and beta readers.

Review for all 3 books in the series so far.

This was very YA-coded and everyone acts and speaks like they're tweens/teenagers. Very fast burn and steamy but also slow-build harem with mates being added per book instead of knowing who they all are right away.

Not really for me. I just prefer to read older/more mature characters.

I'm not in the mood to write a thorough and well-thought-out review, so here are some of my thoughts in no particular order.

I see that this story will eventually be a harem, but it is not a harem by the end of this book specifically. We have no clue how many mates he'll have by the end of the series, but it hints at 3 or 4 men being his mates. He has only 2 mates by the end of this book but that didn't happen until around 75% of the way through. Up until then, it was just him and one mate. That annoyed me. I don't like harems where one partner is favored over the others. And while Luka does a good job at not particularly favoring his first mate, his first mate obviously gets far more book/Luka time than the rest of the mates.

This book reads as very YA. Luka is very naive and inexperienced and his voice reads as a young teen rather than a 20 yr old man. However, there are some rather funny moments when we get to see inside his head.

There are some intimacy scenes but they're pretty average. Nothing super spicy.

Grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors galore! The editing was so bad.

While this book is action/adventure packed, it's extremely low-angst. All issues (aside from the Alvin issue) are resolved almost immediately with little drama or tension. If you're looking for a fun and sweet read, this is the book for you.

I’ve not read this author before but the blurb sounded interesting. I enjoy fantasy books and love MM+ so this sounded like a winner.

On a positive front I enjoyed that we had shifters, fae and mages. Lots of variety as to different skill sets. We also had gods and goddesses mooching about and interfering, as they do. It was kinda instalove, but the way mage bonds kicked it was via a form of intimacy, so you had to get to know a person and want to be intimate without even knowing if you were mates. Once the bond kicks in though then it’s instalove.

I did find the writing style simplistic along with the sex scenes. It was pretty much blow jobs and penetration - in a couple of positions. I do expect in my MM+ books for the sex scenes to be imaginative, like we’ve got 3 people here, give me a bit more…

I will read the next book, as it’s a HFN, to see if we get more mates - I have my suspicions - plus it appears life is going to get more complicated for our stable boy/apprentice healer.

DNF. One and a half stars for the idea

If you're here expecting a "Sent to a Fantasy World and Now All the Men Want Me" experience then do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Goodness gracious this was atrocious!
The author can't write, and i'm saying this as kindly as possible.

Grammatical mistakes aside, the prose needs some serious work. I echo the sentiment shared by many here, this reads like a 9 year old trying to tell you a story : "I did this, so i felt this, but he did that and i did not like that"
I'm not really picky with my writing styles, but sometimes it's just that bad.

Then there's the dialogue, i felt like i was reading an ai impression of what a person sounds like. Or maybe one of those cheesy and cringy tiktok movies.

And finally the characters, how am i supposed to connect to the characters if i don't even know them? No character depth, a pancake has more dimensions.

The only book that could rival this one is Woke Up To Discover I’m Famous.

I don’t read a lot of fantasy so I really went into this book blind with no expectations. It ended up being such a fun read filled with great characters, an interesting plot with some unexpected twists and it ended on a note that had me clamoring for book 2!

I loved Luka. He is such a sweet character. And his mates are just as adorable! It’s part of the journey to find out who his mates are so I’m not going to say too much about them, but don’t let this gorgeous cover fool you because there is some seriously awesome spice mixed in with all the sweet interactions and story.

This world is magical with all different kinds of characters including shifters, witches, wizards, familiars, gods and goddesses.

The author has started building a magical world with this book and I not only can’t wait to see what else happens in book 2!
