I swear, the art is just sickeningly gorgeous. I love the story, but it's a little slower, I guess. Entertaining, nonetheless.

(Calificación y opinión de todo el manhwa).
Yoohan fue lo único bueno de la historia para mí, si soy completamente sincero. No estaba esperando algo tierno, pero mínimo quería que la pareja me gustara, y no fue así.
Sé que tiene una continuación (donde supongo que hablan más sobre Jay, su pasado y lo relacionado a sus sentimientos), pero me faltó profundidad del interés amoroso. Simplemente no empaticé con él, y eso hizo que el “romance” no me gustara. Tuve fe de que lo desarrollaran un poco mejor conforme me acercaba al final y no pasó. Desde el momento en que lo besó y tocó sin su consentimiento me perdieron. Hubo escenas donde todo se volvía sexual de la nada y me resultó innecesario; hizo que me agradara aún menos.
Algunos personajes secundarios son dignos de mención, como Hansoo y el mánager Choi, los demás me cayeron mal. 👎
Y digo que Yoohan fue lo único bueno porque realmente se nota un desarrollo en él desde el inicio hasta el final de la obra, es un buen personaje y pude llegar a entender la forma en la que actuaba por las cosas que había vivido.
El final conforme al tema de la venganza me dejó satisfecho, así que no me quejo de eso. Creo que fue lo más interesante y lo que hizo que no abandonara el manhwa, KAJDJJDF. Había ciertas cosas que quería que se explorara un poco más, como las pasiones de Yoohan, si realmente le gusta el mundo de la actuación y de su vida después del final (cosa que supongo que se ve en las otras novelas (una lástima, porque dudo leerlas)).
En fin, no se lo recomendaría a todos, aunque vale la pena leerlo por el estilo de dibujo (el guapote de Yoohan).

The visuals! Best visuals I got to see and read. The story is about revenge, Korean showbiz industry and the battle of fame and power, it still was the best plot. You will also encounter the moments of helplessness and sadness but that's what the whole story is about. Sin, actions, consequences and redemption, you can see all that in this manhwa. But the scene that really made me cry was when Yoohan said ,"Let me cry", oh I got chills at that time. I really enjoyed reading it!

No se que puedo decir, me gusta el arte de la ilustración, me gusta la historia y me gusta como se desarrolla todo, es bastante interesante y yo solo quiero ver como avanza todo esto y de que manera lo hace, es obvio que Jay siente algo por yoohan, también es posesivo y celoso con él aunque que top no es con su uke, yoohan también ha empezado a sentir alto por él aunque no puedo ser tan rápida a la hora de juzgar como van las cosas pero es obvio que si desde que le gustan sus besos y sus manoseos jaja

Where to Read: Lezhin
During his teen years Lee Yoohan was swept up in an exhilarating lifestyle of crime. He ran with gangs and worked for a loan shark, but one day karma catches up with him when he uses a more extreme method of collecting money. His little brother is murdered in retaliation and in order to atone for his sins, Lee Yoohan gives up his life of pleasure and begins working to pay off his debts. Until years later he runs into someone from his past and he finds out what really happened the day his brother was murdered. Now Lee Yoohan is on a path towards revenge. He meets Jay, a man in the entertainment industry who gives him the opporunity he's looking for.
I know the physical manhwa aren't separated by season, but I'm going to review the first volume as the entire first season which ends on episode/chapter 40.
This was a lot more comedic than I was expecting. From the description and cover you expect a more dark, gritty gang story, but it's not really that dark. (Although with how the first season ended I think season 2 has a very high chance of being a lot darker). There are dark themes, but it doesn't really sit in them if that makes sense. That could be a negative for some people, but I really enjoyed the comedy in it. It made me laugh out loud a few times and I love how goofy the characters can be. I love Yoohan's direct personality. He's a little dumb and sometimes takes things too seriously. His brain also works in an interesting way. The plans he comes up with are a little convoluted, but somehow work in a way that doesn't make the story unbelievable. Then there's Jay who is an absolute clown and so hard to pin down. The villain character is a bit over-exaggerated in a way that I believe is supposed to make him irredeemable. He's very bratty and honestly the worst especially with how this season ended. Like oh my god. What a horrible human. I can't wait to see him get what he deserves.
The story and relationship is pretty slowburn. I mean it's pretty obvious what's happening very early on in the story. Readers are aware of these two characters and who they are and what their history is. The characters themselves just don't know and that's part of the comedy of it? I'm pretty sure Jay is aware the whole time though and just needs confirmation. Jay is pursuing Yoohan because of a past history and Yoohan is absolutely clueless. It takes Yoohan SO long to realize that Jay is the man he's looking for. Despite the silliness, this isn't like a goofy comedy. It still maintains somewhat of a serious tone especially regarding Yoohan's past. I don't want to say too much, but despite being told a lot of what's happening and how frustrating it can be that Yoohan is so clueless for so long, I really enjoyed the experience. The art is gorgeous, the intimate moments are pretty hot. I like the characters and the relationships they're building.
I really liked this. It's very slowly building up to a grand finale and I'm looking forward to finally seeing Jay and Yoohan get together and seeing Yoohan get his revenge.

I don't want to say too much, but despite being told a lot of what's happening and how frustrating it can be that Yoohan is so clueless for so long, I really enjoyed the experience. The art is gorgeous, the intimate moments are pretty hot. I like the characters and the relationships they're building.
I really liked this. It's very slowly building up to a grand finale and I'm looking forward to finally seeing Jay and Yoohan get together and seeing Yoohan get his revenge.

I read the manhwa first and got caught by how much of an interesting character Yohan was. I was kind of tired with soft and feminine mcs that I wanted something more manly and Yohan definitely provided. The updates were slow and my impatient self couldn't wait and I decided to read the novel and oh my freaking gosh it was the death of me. I never felt so attached with a novel (I say this a lot but this time it's real) and I love the characters, the plot, the twist, literally everything!!!!
If I have to say who my favorite character is, it would be Yohan because he lives in my head rent-free. This baby suffered so much, and the novel never ceased to show it. He didn't transform into this hopeful and optimistic person which I love because a person with that amount of baggage would not change their perception that fast of the world. He was still hopeless, and miserable but at least Jay was there to give him a reason to live. And I also love Jay so much like how on earth can that daddy be so funny and evil at the same time T_T like he's a walking red flag, no, it's bloody red and I still love him. He's so charming, and brilliant, and smart, and funny, and so loving that I'm a certified simp for him.
This is pretty much more of me sharing how I love the novel so much than an actual review but really, who cares? 5/5 because I see no bad points for this novel. It's just, perfection!

Primera vez en mi vida que me pasa de terminar un manhwa y recién ahí empezar a llorar xd 2025 mi año maricona acaso?
Le tenía muchas ganas a este manhwa, and it delivered. No sabía muy bien qué esperar, pero me apreció increíble lo distinto que es al resto de los manhwas BLs que leí (tanto para bien como para mal). Para bien porque la trama no se centra simplemente en smut sino que hay un PLOT jasjasja que encima estuvo muy interesante y no se volvió tedioso a mitad de la obra. Para mal porque el romance está... pero no está tan presente como a mi me habría gustado/ estoy acostumbrada. No es algo que me haya hecho disfrutar la historia menos, pero sí siento que si hubiera habido un toque más de romance por ahí la habría disfrutado incluso más.
El final me mató aaaaa. Cuando ponen la escena extra de la película y después leí "The End" quedé ??? porque pensé "¿cómo puede terminar con esto?". Entonces lo volví a leer, y caí en la cuenta de que la película tranquilamente refleja lo que podría haber sido la vida del prota, y cómo, de no haber encontrado al ML, él habría terminado igual que el protagonista de la película :ccc y ªªªªªª me puso muy triste por lo que podría haber sido pero muy feliz por lo que terminó siendo :')
Tengo muchas ganas de leer el spin-off "Pay Off" cuando salga, así que ojalá la autora se tome el descanso que merece y después vuelva con toda.

I’ve fallen so deeply into this story that it refuses to leave my mind. The characters are crafted in a way that makes you want to sit with them, understand them, and maybe even shake them a little. I love how the book quietly explores their inner worlds, especially since our MC has practically switched off half his emotions and walks around a little oblivious to his own feelings. That’s where Jay comes in—he nudges Yoohan, and us as readers, straight into the storm of everything they’re both holding back.
Their relationship grows in the most addictive way. The tension, the push and pull, the soft but intense moments, even the antagonistic sparks—it all feels so alive. And when Jay tells Yoohan he’s going to make him feel his love and love him back, you feel the certainty in every word.
The characters and their chemistry are the heartbeat of this story, and watching them collide, unravel, and fall for each other is what makes this book impossible to put down.

I am liking this a lot more than I thought I would. The art is great, the story is entertaining and the characters have depth to them.
Lee Yoohan (MC) is a strong character with a tragic background so that in itself is a win for me. I do love it when characters have gone through hell and back. Jay (ML) is also an enigmatic character and I am liking the development of their relationship. Their dynamic is interesting and although there's a power imbalance, Jay is in fact more whipped for LYH than vice versa.
The antagonist of the story is also key to moving the plot along and luckily, the writing is good so far which means that the antagonist isn't a one-dimensional character. I'm looking forward to read on how LYH will achieve his revenge.

Надзвичайно цікава (манхва / маньхуа? Здається, манхва, це ж Корея). Багато деталей, логіка (просто чудовий зв'язок між причиною-наслідком). Все здається логічним і не притягнутим за вуха. Чим довше читаєш, тим більше хочеться. Це реально та манхва (?), де не лише гарненька мальовка, де можна помилуватися на вау-вау-вау персонажів, а й реально слідкувати за сюжетом із завмиранням серця. До речі, навіть "розкриття" героїв дуже гармонійне. Вони не тупі, вони вчасно про все здогадалися, саме тоді, коли в них на руках було реально достатньо фактів для цього, для того, щоб вирішити "стільки збігів не буває".
Берусь за другий том, і чекаю з захопленням продовження.

The novel was so explicit and was well described - I love the scenes of Yoohan building his career, revenge and his scenes with Jay but one thing that weirded me out was that Yoohan who is supposed to be a thug and good at handling situations even when the roof is on fire BUT he can't put 2+2 together - LIKE DAFUQ?? The way we had to go through maybe 5-10 chapters just for him to figure out det difference or similarity of Jay/Executive Yoon... meeh
The season finale didn't do anything either, so my expectations are not that high for season, but im looking forward the development between Jay and Yoohan..

June 1, 2025The artwork is spectacular. However, the creators never realised the potential of the plot. The dub-con didn't help the case, and really put me off. It's not a piece of work I'd recommend. Perhaps go through the first volume to appreciate the art, but there's little point in continuing.
