Okay...so this ending really really lacked.
No wonder I don't remember it, it was literally so pitiful. No, I am not using the 'it's a children's book' excuse. That is not even a valid excuse. A lot of the elements in this story is excused because it is aimed at children. Like the lack of supervision of literal 12 year olds and everyone ignoring their cries for help because then it wouldn't be as thrilling if the parents and adults cared. BUUUUUT that doesn't excuse how horribly repetitive and rushed this ending was. The ending was like: big witch battle to the death but everyone acts like it was an act despite there being actual magic and witches and everyone just goes home. The main character is just like 'well...that happened'. And that's it.

Nostalgia couldn't save this for me. I can't even say I had as much fun reading it as the other two books because it was just annoying at this point. Reading this has made me feel so much better about fiction that's being aimed at a younger audience now a days that actually tells engaging stories that they deserve.

A nice finish to the trilogy. The ending was really open ended and it didn't need to be. I think it hurt the trilogy as a whole. It also made April seem cold because of how easy she shrugs off

This trilogy started off really strong, but the second book wasn't very good and this one was just awful.

Oh my god!!! Everything made so much sense now. The ending was so craazy. What a plot twist! I was so wrong the whole time trying to guess who the daughter was! It's a shame he's able to fool twice.

I was kind of disappointed by this one. I found the first two volumes (especially the first one) better.

Well, Got this book as gift from my brother. We used to read RL stine Books when we were in school. The book certainly took me back to school memories. But it lacked a proper ending as usually RL stine book deserves.
