This book is mostly about doodling. The author went through things like value, color therapy, texture, patterns. She talks about the ballpoint pen and it's history. The exercises are complete and she adds elements of mix media, collage, and watercolor and acrylic inks.

This is a book for a beginner artist.

A lovely title for anyone just starting with ink drawing. It's jam-packed with ideas, techniques and tips, and has lively illustrations throughout.

The author covers the topics of value, patterns, tone and colour therapy, and also discusses the history of the ballpoint pen. Mixed media is also brought in by way of watercolour, acrylic ink and collages.

A great gift or purchase for the beginner.
