I loved this book! Leah Brewer is a local author to me and this book takes place in my hometown. I loved the mentions of all of the local places and I could picture them in my head because I know exactly what they look like.

This was such a good mystery and I could not put this book down. Tammy is such a badass character and I certainly hope there will be more books featuring her and her investigations.

I loved the romance storyline between Tammy and Jace. It was a second chance storyline and I ate it up!

This was a good read. I love good detective characters and Leah Brewer has created one, Tammy. I enjoyed the idea of the main character being a homicide cop. While they do exist, there are not many suspenseful mysteries where the main cop is female.

This story had me sitting on the edge of my seat at times. Although there were a few times this slowed down to me, overall there were other times I couldn’t put it down.

Hope there are more Detective Tammy Sharp books.

This one took me on a captivating journey full of twists and turns.

Leah Brewer has created a wonderful lead in Tammy Sharp. She is vibrant and strong as a female lead and really easy to get behind as a reader.

Throughout the story, there is a lot to think about as you try to unravel clues right along with the characters.

Overall, this was an interesting story with an ending that allows for some closure and relief.

This was a pretty good mystery! The writing style wasn't my favorite, but the pop culture references made me giggle every time they happened. The mystery was intriguing and kept me guessing the whole time! Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my digital ARC!

A book I read in spite of the cover. Tammy’s story started a little wonky for me and I figured the review would be 3 stars at best. But the mystery picked up and the writing really even out. Glad I stuck with it.

Decent read, a lot of detail that could have been left out and made the book go on forever, by the time I finished it I couldn’t remember some of the characters and almost felt lost
