Cute short. Amara is happy with the status quo and is not looking for change. Tristan is ready and willing to move forward with the technology of the future. When pushed together for a project, Amara is reluctant, but goes through with it. Surprisingly she learns a lot from Tristan, enjoys his company, and it doesn't hurt that he is fine as hell. 😂 They quickly form a great working relationship, as well as a personal one.
Amara and Tristan are at odds. With two competing businesses and the 4th of July coming, Amara is worried that Tristan's and their drone light show will steal legacy customers from her family fireworks business. But when they're asked to work together on the town's annual celebration, they find that maybe they're not at odds after all.
Te Russ is so good at the sexy short. And at small town love. This was so cute and very satisfying. Amara and Tristan are adorable and I love the tension between them. Made for great passion. The story was one I hadn't read--which I loved--and it was perfect for the holiday.
I was so excited to read this short from Ms. Russ because I knew it would be good. Her books always have that spark :). I loved that it was centered around the 4th and how Tristan and Amara came together. And I learned about drone shows too! Loved, loved this short!
This was a cute holiday short story and just what I needed after reading a very long novel. Amara and Tristan definitely had a spark and I enjoyed seeing them join together personally and professionally.
This short read was the first book that I’ve read by Te Russ and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well written, flowed well and kept my attention. Instant love for the couple who thought that they would be enemies.
I loved this short story. Tristan and Amara both oozed with the perfect combination of fire. I'm glad to have a peak into the lives of some of my earlier favorite couples/characters. Just what a short story is supposed to do. Bravo!
Tristan and Amara the chemistry was there but Amara didn't want to accept it cause she considered him the enemy but boy did that change cause they fell in love
This was a cute short story. I enjoyed the hero and heroine in the story. I like interesting character professions and both characters checked these boxes for me.
Once they get past the initial tension, sparks fly—literally and figuratively. Their chemistry is undeniable, and it's fascinating to see how they navigate their differences. This story also made me very interested in how drones can enhance a fireworks display.
I also loved the cameo from Londyn and Ramsey; it was nice to get an update on them. If you're looking for a charming and engaging short story with a modern twist on tradition, *Spark* is definitely worth a read.
