loved it

Oh my we love Billy. He always has great ways to help the kiddos. This story was perfect for my five year old because he’s trying to understand his feelings and he stomps, shouts and explodes, so for him to see Olivia in do the same. He didn’t feel alone. Also, the way Billy told her to count to ten and write a letter. This were great tips for parents that have children learning their emotions.

Also, for me I loved how the bookshelf in the room had all of Billy be kind books as well as Sharing is the new cool by Jax. Excellent read! I highly recommend!

“Billy be Kind: My Big Feelings” is an adorable and loving picture book by Kim Adams. The illustrations are so kid friendly and well done by Ayesha W. Billy Be Kind is a very smart social emotional mouse that helps Olivia when her best friend is moving away. Not only does this great book give a way to cool down but also identifies other feelings. At the back of the book, there are pages that can be used to teach social emotional learning. Great for classroom teachers and homeschool parents. I highly recommend this book.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outstanding Social Emotional Learning

Author Kim Adams curated another successful SEL book in her successful series.

This award-winning book had me engaged from beginning to end as well-written rhymes describe a child’s BIG feelings of loss after a life change. I particularly like how she learns to manage her loss through art forms—writing and drawing.
As an adult I enjoy those tools too.

This colorfully illustrated book will make a great addition to anyone book shelf.

Great for teaching kids about emotions

This book teaches children that it’s okay to feel all the big feelings like anger, sadness, worry. But children also learn that the way they express those feelings is what matters. Instead of stomping in anger, they can count to help them calm down.
Important book for children as they learn to embrace and navigate the myriad feelings they’re sure to experience at some point.
Be sure to check out Kim Adams’ other Billy Be Kind books.

Billy Be Kind: My Big Feelings was a beautifully illustrated and diverse book which perfectly captures big feelings all children go through. As a mom of three, my youngest being six, who has many big feelings, this was a book we read together and reinforced ways to move through emotions in a healthy way. The storyline was easy to follow as well as the rhymes. Bravo to the author Kim Adams.

Wonderful for kids with big emotions

My youngest actually just went through losing his best friend to another school. It was great to see that his feelings were valid and that there were other ways to deal with his emotions other than getting angry at his brother or at us. We loved the activities at the back too.
