Reviews:

"You are not obscene as far as I can see. You write about emotion and you capture it and convey it beautifully. You have something very original and very contemporary."
-- customer email, March 2011 (from U.K.)

"Jess C Scott is the 21st century Judy Blume."
-- Amazon Review on EyeLeash: A Blog Novel (from U.S.)

"Based on the three books I've read, I can say that you're a brilliant writer. They are not shallow reads. Your books do not only entertain but they also make you reflect on what is really important in one's life."
-- e-mail from a reader, 2011 (The Philippines)

Excerpt #1:

Hideki raised the blindfold over Daniel's eyes.

Hideki was in the thigh-high boots he was wearing earlier, but in a short leather skirt this time, which ended just above the top of the black leather boots.

Daniel felt a warmth in his heart--Hideki was a marvellous sight to behold, breathtaking as ever. But Daniel inched back, throat tight, when he saw the knife in Hideki's hand. It was a medium-sized knife.

But even a small blade could cut deep.

Excerpt #2 (E-mail from Hideki to Daniel):

Subject: Re: i hate commercialism

Hey Daniel,

Gone are the days where people could actually tell good shit from bad shit--no wait, I'm not too sure, maybe people could never really tell the difference. As in, there'll only be a small number of really thoughtful and discerning people who want something more in life, apart from something 'pop' and 'fluff' and mindlessly entertaining.

Do you know why there are so many obese people in the world right now (apart from the prevalence of fast food?)--one need only look at the ancient scriptures of India, such as the following:

An Ayurvedic text comments: "Boredom, mindless entertainment, continuous eating, and oversleeping: these will fatten you up just like a hog."

I hate commercialism. It makes me very tired. I think I'm only going to be buying CDs of dead rockstars from now.

I guess the question is: why bother to work hard? Why bother to hone your talents? Why bother to be anything, if you can make millions from unoriginal work that's easily digestible, and just as easily disposable (but who care$, coz you already made the million$!!!)?

I'm not blessed enough to be illiterate/ignorant. I'm not blessed enough to be able to sell my soul and/or artistic integrity, for hordes of quick cash. I'm not blessed enough to ride on the commercial success of a trend or fad that's hot for that day, or week, or year, or whatever.

But I'm blessed enough to have people like you as friends.

Ok thanks for listening to all my nonsensical garbage again…

~ Hideki.

Hi all,

I was trying to find my way as a writer and person throughout my twenties. I won't be writing under my "Jess C Scott" pen name as it doesn't reflect who I am anymore (it's a pen name I used since I was 12 years old).

In 2019, I started working on some horror short stories and essays. I intend to publish them at some point in future under my real name (still undecided if I might use a new pen name for fiction).

See you at my new site if the genres are of interest to you :)

Thank you and take care! 👋✍️

If you like this book you may enjoy the BDSM Group

This is a sweet and well written short story about two guys who love each other but they're both waiting for the other to come around. One thing leads to another and it all comes out. There is a nice knife play scene that I enjoyed and both the leads are very likeable.

This was one of those short but intense stories that illustrates what erotica can be. Yes, there was sex in it (including a pretty intense knife-play scene), but it was really about two friends struggling to find each other and being honest about their feelings. It's also about staying true to oneself, about music.

this a really intense story, not particularly sexually explicit, but very focused on the relationship and the history between the two MCs. it maybe went on a little bit in places about aesthetics and art vs commercialism, but overall it was a very intense and moving scene
