These are turning into really good, solid reads. Consistent development of characters, can’t rely on anyone but main protagonist to survive. Any spare moment I dive into the story. I’ve bought the remainders in the series. Excellent Book 5/5

I'm being a bit heavy handed in my review, but for all its 3 star-ness, I enjoyed reading it enough to bump it up a tad. It's fun. A bit hokey but fun as heck.
My biggest complaint is a lack of subtlety. You know who your villains are from the getgo. There is no surprise, no layers of discovery. And for all the fodder a good man with a demon's soul could offer, the author doesn't wade into the everyday struggles of true human malice and instead relies heavily on bloodlust. Which is shallow and far less terrifying than it could be. Wasted potential.
But who cares. This is fun. Mazael is a strong and interesting character surrounded by other relatively interesting, and individual, characters. Enjoyable.

Another great tale

Much better writing than in Book 1, but the grammatical errors were still common throughout the book.

Maezel Cravenlock returned home from Knightrealm after they Marriage of his sister to Gerald His friend and one time squire. But it wasn't without any peril or loss of life as Maezel lost a few friends and took down several enemies. But it was a long couple of Months and he was glad to return home
The adventures had continued in this the 2nd in what I am finding out is an excellent series of books. Even though they editing in the first 2 books could have been better. I'll have to admit that so far the story of Maezel has beeb great and I will be looking forward to more.

Soul of Tyrants (Demonsouled Book 2) Review
Dear Jonathan, another entertaining and wonderful story with excellent characters and imaginative plot. I rated this book lower because of the unbridled sexual activity. This is definitely an adult series because of the bloody nature and evil in the telling. I highly recommend reading this book and series to adults only looking for a wonderful adventure. Thanks for the entertainment.

Confused claptrap
Apart from the poor grammar, misspellings littered throughout, and the ludicrous names, has he ever heard of Gravesham , sorry Gravesend, the titles are misunderstood , no-one is Sir Commander, it would be Commander Sir Something, and there is no such title as Lord. This is a courtesy reference to a Duke, Marquiss, Earl , Viscount, or Baron.
The story is also hackneyed and a poor copy of hundreds of other fantasy titles much better written.

Decently done
The book, like many, could stand a good proofreader, as there are a number of grammatical errors. While the evil villains are fully evil, there really isn't any equivalent hero. The heroes are all flawed or resisting their nature. The point of view of the author is somewhat dry and makes the characters just a bit flat. But it's overall a good tale, written well enough to justify purchasing it and to purchase the next in the series.

Second part of a very nice series. I Thurs one we see the "heroe" face more demons and conquer then with the help of his friends.

Mazael is now the lord of his castle and homeland but he is still suffering after taking control of his demon side.
But as his troubles continue there is a bright side, his sister is happily married to a good friend, new friends are made and advances in Mazael’s character are made.
Again, there is a lot of action, with the usual great characters and story.

Great book, a little on the predictable side but well written!

A good read - fast pace, no let up in the action. Editing continues to be an Achilles' heel thought, as there are misspelled and missing words in places.
