I was done saving men. It was time to save myself and my heart. As fast as the thought came; it went… because here I was saving another man, this time a complete stranger. This was so GOOD!!! I luvvvv Daniel & Asya they were just too cute!!! They met in the most unconventional way but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how things played out with them! Daniel was super tough on the outside but had a soft spot for Asya from day 1! The way he kept inviting himself into her house was insane 😂 he kept me laughing from beginning to end!
Mink was bogus & I thought for sure Asya was gonna drag her 😂 I like how Daniel did not play with her when it came to Asya! Put her right in check & that was a wrap for that!
Trap was HILARIOUS 😭😭😭 he wanted to take mink out so bad as if that wasn’t Dj’s mom! Silent but deadly definitely describes him!
Overall this was a really quick but good read! Definitely getting into more from this author!

4.5✨ Unique is a storyteller. I was invested in Proceed with Kaution from the first page, and the drama didn’t let up until the end. Asya had sworn off dating after another disastrous date. When she arrived home that evening, she heard a noise coming from the side of her house and decided to check it out. It was fate that led Asya to find Dreaux with an apparent gunshot wound. She immediately jumped into action to save him. Dreaux was on a mission to find out who was behind the hit - but he first had to rule out the one that saved him. Dreaux referred to Asya as his “guardian Angel,” and I couldn’t agree more. When he broke into her house and made himself comfortable, I kept thinking, “This is my type of carrying on!” I could sense their romance coming from miles away; they were each other's equal. I loved the proposal at the end. The relationship between Asya and her father was bittersweet because it was nothing like a father's love, but he knew she was in good hands. The way Dreaux found solace in Asya’s presence was the perfect example of how love will find you when you least expect it.

Can Dreaux be my man?😂💕
I love a man that stands in business and Dreaux was that guy. While their introduction was unconventional, the bond he and Asya built was real! I liked how they called each other’s bluff about what they were looking for. Sometimes you just know! Aside from the hiccup with Mink they were good in my book.
I liked the pop ups of Dutch, Drix and Promise too. Little DJ was the cutest and the way Poppy and his guys stood 10 toes down behind Asya was admirable. I’m very interested in Trap’s story and I feel like Milani and Supreme may have something one day too.

Asya & Daniel I love ya! Asya wasn’t about the games at all. Her mouth was so slick. Asya & Milani’s friendship 🫶🏾 Daniel/Dreaux a gentleman and a thug I fell in love with him. 🥰❤️🫶🏾 Dj 👑 the cutest! This was a great read have me giggling & blushing! 🥰

What's The Timeline?
There was no real sense of time in this book. One day they met, then shortly after they were meeting each other's kid/ family and having unprotected sex. I am not opposed to a fast-paced storyline, but throw in something that indicates the timeline because I had no clue how far apart these details occurred. There was no real depth to the story or these characters so it didn't suck me in completely, but I did finish it. To be honest, it felt quick and easy for the most part and outside of her friend Lani giving her terrible advice, I liked most of Asya's dialog and how she handled her business. I loved her relationship with Poppy and I also liked Dreaux's relationship with DJ and how he didn't play any games with Asya. Overall, the cadence was weird and there is no deep character development, but it wasn't a terrible book. Also, the editing on this one wasn't bad, which I appreciated.

I loved everything about this book. I love the healthy relationship Asya had with her dad, along with his two best friends who helped raise her. That whole dynamic was beautiful. And I love how Asya wasn’t with the shits when it came to Minky trying to run her off from Daniel. She stood her ground every time. When she went the extra mile to piss Minky off about that fake pregnancy, she made me proud.
A lot of us relate to Asya. A man sees you doing well and suddenly he’s intimidated. Her ex left because he was resentful and couldn’t face the fact that his woman helped him. So he went and found someone who needed him instead. Asya intimidated him. Girl, everything she felt was felt.
This was just a great read overall, and I found myself smiling through most of it. Now I’m so anxious for Trap’s book. I want to skip Supreme and go straight to Trap so bad. He’s such a mystery. But I’m going to read in order like I’m supposed to.

Aysa was dating the wrong guys. She immediate them. I love how Dreaux and Aysa came together and how he kept breaking into her house. He is totally unhinged. It was nice to see the crew back at. All Mink wanted is her family back. Dreaux told her it happening. She tried to go to Aysa job and bull her in return she got her feelings hurt. Poppy gave Dreaux permission to date his daughter after the guys interrogated him. Lani needs to get a new dude because Xan ain't acting right. I want to her and Supreme get something going. Mink didn't have a choice not to be on board. Aysa spoke her pregnancy into existence. Their sexual attraction and chemistry was off the chain. And of course Dreaux got down on one knee and asked Aysa to marry him.

This was the cutest story with love, spice and danger.
Asja is such a sweetheart. Smart, driven and a business owner, she’s just looking for her equal. Dating sucks and after the date from hell all she wants to do is bathe and lay it down.
Dreaux is a business owner and father who still has a foot in the streets. Caught off guard, he finds himself bleeding out. He believes an angel saved him. Angel indeed, because Asja keeps him on this side of heaven, giving him a peace he’s never experienced.
The way they navigate through the events of his shooting, raising his son and getting revenge was truly something.
Now I need Supreme and Milani’s story. ASAP!!!

Asya after date from hell she stumbles into chaos right after. That being is Dreaux no matter how unconventional the situation maybe it’s fate these two are destined. Something about Asya angelic aura Dreaux couldn’t stay away. I shouldn’t find him breaking into her home attractive but I did. Daniel is bae love a man who takes charge. The chemistry between the two were undeniable + both matching energy perfect combination! Now Unique will always givea us an unlikeable character which is Dreaux bm. Where Asya is Dreaux’s peace he’s her chaos. Proceed with Kaution is right type sh*t ( Dreaux voice).

This was a pretty decent, somewhat easy low tension love story. Despite there being a teaspoon of street shenanigans in it. Asya was feisty and about her business. I loved the relationship with her and her “3 dads” lol. I liked that Dreaux was a different type of man for her than she usually dealt with. But I wish we saw more of a chase on his behalf. It feels like they just kind of fell into a relationship which again aided in this feeling like an easy love story for them. I loved their dialogue and them getting to know each other. But i still feel something was a bit lacking. I’m also not that invested in the side characters beyond Trap. It feels like he has a story to tell.

This was good read. Dreaux found peace in his ángel, where he thought he wouldn’t make it. Asya was in her independent woman bag and giving up on men. What she didn’t know is that God is always right on time. Even with conflict Dreaux wasn’t letting her go and I loved that for her. It nice to see the update on the crew, plus I can’t wait to read about Trap! Great job !

My type of romance, no cheating and just enough drama to keep it interesting. I like how the author focuses more on the couple and how their feelings develops for each other. I also liked how they both pretty much locked in on each other at the same time and didn’t let up.

When an unconventional & chance encounter leads you to your peace. Dreaux was literally on his way to the pearly gates when he seen an angel that saved him. This is my second book by this author and I am definitely enjoying her.
