Love this world

The final installment of Bay's story, and it does not disappoint. Yes, Topher is still an bleep.....but fear not we will get our HEA, even if it's not the blood thirsty one i had dreams of, but I digress.
Bay and the guys have a bunch to overcome, and I don't want to give away too much, but things work out how they should. Loved this book

I have loved everything about this series. I started with Lakyn and absolutely fell in love with her and her guys. And being able to conclude with Bay and her guys was wonderful. Bay is such a strong character, and the amount of problems she has to deal with is more than enough for any person. Cole, Jagger and Ryker are all amazing, and even if they had a little bit of soul-searching and prioritizing to do, I think they’re truly perfect for Bay. Topher and Bianca are absolute villains but I love them because they act like real people do - these are people you might encounter in your own life and there aren’t always easy ways to deal with them. Overall, amazing series and I can’t wait to see what Melissa comes up with next!

The Friend Zone is the conclusion to Bay's duet, and we see the aftermath of Topher's threat.

The relationships between Bay and her guys really changes in this final part. Ryker really steps up and I enjoyed getting to know him better in this one.

I wanted to shake Jagger at times in this book, with his treatment of Bay, but I knew Melissa Adams wouldn't leave me unsatisfied.

This book was full of twists, revelations and plenty of panty melting spice.

Bianca and Topher getting served karma was the ultimate highlight for me.

I loved the conclusion of Bay’s story! Bay and the guys made it through all their personal drama and found a way to make things for them. Topher and Bianca finally get what’s coming to them! After the year she’s had, Bay definitely deserves her happily ever after!

Have you ever heard that expression a whole can of worms? Well, that's what happened to poor Bay. First we have to put up with Bianca who's as horrible as ever and trying to blame Bay for everything. Then there's Topher and his ridiculous bro code that had the guys on edge with poor Bay stuck in the middle. Luckily Ryker takes her out on this romantic walk where they get to know each other better and get there fortune told and there both shocked at the out come which will lead to so mush more between her and her guys. There's Pleanty of drama going on and a few bumps along the way, and I loved how Bay took things head on and didn't let anyone stop her. With the help of her guys, Ryker, Cole, and Jagger therse nothing they can't do together. It's a spicy read with pleanty of action and I loved that ending it was so worth the wait especially with the guest appearance from her sister Lakyn and her guys Cash, Blaze and Luca as they plan the most amazing wedding of a life time and share a few shocked but happy moments together which I absolutely loved.

Melissa Adams, you’ve done it again, and this time you’ve brought Bay’s story to a fiery, dramatic, and deeply satisfying conclusion. The Friend Zone picks up right where the last book left us dangling, and let me tell you—it’s been worth the wait.

Let’s start with Bay. Oh, Bay. She’s a powerhouse of a character, juggling more chaos than anyone should ever have to handle. If you’ve ever heard the phrase “opening a can of worms,” Bay’s got a whole pantry full of them. Yet through it all, she remains unbreakable, tackling life’s curveballs with a mix of grit and grace that makes her utterly magnetic.

And her guys? Cole, Jagger, and Ryker? These men are a triple threat of swoon-worthy charm, emotional depth, and (let’s be honest) a good dose of steamy chemistry. Sure, they had to wrestle with their own priorities and a bit of soul-searching, but they prove themselves worthy of Bay in the end. Together, they’re everything you’d want in a bookish romance—a blend of tension, passion, and heart.

Now, let’s talk villains. Topher and Bianca are the kind of antagonists you love to hate. They’re messy, conniving, and oh-so-realistic. You know these people, don’t you? The ones who get under your skin and create drama just by existing. Adams gives us villains who feel like they could walk out of the pages and into your life—messy, complicated, and annoyingly relatable.

As for the plot? It’s packed with drama, action, and just the right amount of spice to keep you hooked from start to finish. The journey isn’t without its bumps (and isn’t that half the fun?), but that ending? Pure gold. It’s the kind of finale that leaves you smiling, satisfied, and maybe even a little misty-eyed.

In short, The Friend Zone is a spicy, emotional rollercoaster of a read that ties up Bay’s duet with flair. Melissa Adams has once again proven her knack for creating characters you root for, villains you want to strangle, and stories you can’t put down. If you’ve loved this series as much as I have, you’ll savor every moment of this book. Bravo, Melissa—now, what’s next?

it’s not you, it’s… me?

Well, I finished it…

This may be a case of “it’s not you, it’s me” but there were so many issues that I cannot let go of.

First, this did not need to be two books. The first book was so much repetitive filler, I DNF’ed at 80 percent and didn’t miss anything by moving on to this one. It was unnecessarily dragged out.

Two, the love story wasn’t believable to me. Insta lust? Sure, there was definitely plenty of that. However the relationships were so surface level and focused on physical attraction it felt weird and fake. There was one point where Bay is talking about something and how hurt/upset she is and we’re reading one of the guys point of view and he starts talking about how her belly is showing and he’d love to touch her bare skin ‘but nows not the right time’ while she is literally on the verge of tears… but you love this woman? You love her but can only focus on her body? Okaaaay…

Three, the situation with Jagger was skimmed over and Bays reaction felt gross and disingenuous. FORCING SOMEONE TO PREFORM A SEXUAL ACT AGAINST THEIR WISHES IS SEXUAL ASSAULT NOT JUST “BORDERLINE HAZING”. And the “love of his life’s” reaction is ‘It’s kind of hot’????? Yuck.

Four, I am not a police officer or a lawyer but I have watched enough TV to know that police officers are not going to tell you what evidence they have against you while arresting you… that whole scene was so unbelievable it was laughable.

If you’re looking for good smut, give this book a try. If you’re like me and need the story itself to be good with a believable plot line and actual relationship development this probably isn’t the fit for you.

I love how Bay is such a girl's girl. Bay is also a genuinely nice FMC who works hard and doesn't have a chip on her shoulder despite the issues she finds herself up against and tackles everything with common sense and logic. Bay still has flaws but there is just something about her from her introduction in her sister Laykin's books that had me rooting for her from the start and I was willing for her to take the Topher blinkers off! Topher (and Bianca) are great villains; the way they play the system is frustrating but totally plausible and I liked the real world consequences towards the end.

For those like me who have been waiting for the Cole and Bay sparks to fly you will not be disappointed! I would have loved more time to see how the relationship between all four developed after college as with the Topher situation taking priority there wasn't much chance to see that on page. Fingers crossed for an extended crossover epilogue or novella as I'd love to see all these characters again.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

So here it is. The conclusion to Bay's duet. I have loved every minute of Bay's story. Shoutout to Melissa Adams for getting me invested in yet another one of her books and making characters so damn lovable that I just simply melt. Looking at you Ryker. But I will reserve a special spot to Jagger even though his text message pissed me the heck off. When you read this, you will understand what I mean.

In this book we are given twists and turns and we see everything in the aftermath with Topher and Bianca. hated these 2 from the very start. Honestly they deserve each other. With all that is going on in their personal lives, we see Bay, Cole, Jagger and Ryker work through this new dynamic and come together (pun intended). Glad to see the HEA because it was definitely a uphill climb to there.

The Friend Zone is the fourth book in the Not Your Pucking Bunny series written by Melissa Adams.

💜 sororities and fraternities
💜 hockey team
💜 mysteries
💜 why choose
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice

This book picks up where the last book leaves off. What are the guys going to do? Topher decided to enact the bro-code and basically strong armed the guys into leaving Bay alone. Will they be able to do it? What about Bay? Will she be able to get the Zeta house re-built? Will she be able yo get through the school year, graduate, and start her own company like she dreams of? Will she get her happily ever after like her sister?

This was a good conclusion to the twins’ stories. So much happens in this book that you have to pay attention to all of the details to keep up. I liked how everything ended up wrapping up and concluding at the end. This was a fun journey that definitely keeps you on your toes.

Best Ever Conclusion

I was so excited for this book! I needed to know what happened with Bay and her guys and even Topher and Bianca! Did Bay get her happily ever after? Does she get her guys? Do the guys make it out ok after all the blackmail on them? Does Topher and Bianca get the just dos and get the payback they deserved?

This and so much more was revealed in this conclusion. Bay and her guys come out on top and beat Topher and Bianca with the best form of justice. It isn't easy or quick. They have to really work to uncover all the lies and secrets and find out just how deep the betrayal goes.

Once you pick this book up be warned you won't want to put it down until your at the end! Find out how Bay and her guys get their HEA!

Loved how this RH story took its time to have the characters really connect with each other. The guys already were all friends so it was more about getting to know Bay better and wanting to be with her. Bay is trying to get through the year and be the best president for her sorority and get over her cheating ex. What better way to get over a douche ... getting under a HOTTER man who will give her what she needs at the moment, and concentrate on getting her cosmetics company going at the same time.

Bay runs into issues and problems with the sorority house, and then she goes on a hunt to find out what exactly happened. The guys decide that they want to help her uncover all the mysteries that have somehow surrounded her and seemed to keep getting her in trouble in more ways than one.

I was immersed in the story and couldn't get enough! I loved Bay and her guys, they were perfect for her like she was for them.

4.75 ⭐️

The conclusion of Bay’s story has me feeling bittersweet, bitter because I could have read about their dynamic forever. The conclusion of Bay’s duet sees the aftermath of Topher’s invocation of the bro code play out, and how our main characters deal with it. A return of Lakyn and her boys was a pleasant addition to this book as it’s always nice to see characters we know in their happy ending.

Melissa truly does have a way of writing that makes you root for the characters as if they were your best friend, and I couldn’t help rooting for Bay and for Topher/Bianca to get what they deserve - you’ll have to read it for yourself to find out if they do or not!

As always, all opinions are my own.

Bay is not out of the woods yet. When things seems like they can't get any worse, all H... breaks loose. Nothing goes as planned. Not one single thing. At least not until they all start to talk properly together and work out their issues.
Topher keeps being a grade A A$$hole. He is slippery as an eel, that's for sure. But I liked how it all ended. He mostly gets what he deserved. As did Bianca.
Cole and Jagger is put in an impossible situation by Topher. The stakes seems unreal. But it is a proper romance and gets the HEA.
I've loved the two duets about the Woods sisters. Lakyn and Bay are great female leads.
Absolutely recommend to all lovers of sports romance with WhyChoose set up and loads of drama.

Super Satisfying Ending

This is the fourth book in the series in the second book in a duet. This book must be read in order. I am so excited about how this story ended. Cole and Jagger got their poop in a group and earned back Bay’s trust which involved some seriously spicy scenes. Then finally after 4 long book Topher gets what he deserves and Bianca also is taken down. It was so satisfying after hating Topher for this whole series. We also get a sweet final chapter that wraps up Lakyn and Bay’s storyline. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys RH sports romance with high spice and a great plot.

Love will find a way! No body puts these guys in the Friend Zone!
This is a great and lovely ending to a fun read! I love Bay, Cole, Jagger and Ryker and the way their relationships develop. I also love that Ryker isn't beholden to anyone but himself, he knows what he wants and takes her. Unfortunately, Cole & Jagger aren't so confident but with a little coaxing they see the light and where it lies. It lies with Bay people! Bay is the light!
Loved the ups and downs, Loved that Bay also knows her worth and take crap from these guys.

Tangled Webs

This final book in the series tries to untangle several webs of deceit, some leftover from the previous series. From who is the cyber bully blogger, who is the one who drugged Bay, who is the arsonist who burned down the Greek house. Then there are the unknown issues cheating, blackmail, and thefts... An ex who won't give up, and his new girl who has jealous issues. Through all that Bay and her guys discover they love each other and while the ending was ok it did feel a little abrupt... Surely she should have told them her news and at least decided on a venue for their wedding. It was a good wrap up of the series although a chapter too short.

The end of Bay's story! I loved this second book so much! It really tells the story so good. And the ending is a swoon worthy HEA! Course there is still enough going on to keep you on your toes. Can we talk about Topher? What a complete catastrophy right? But Bay's guys? I need more of those in my life. They are amazing and perfect for Bay I can tell you. Written realistic and I love it as the author does an amazing job at it making it feel real. Pulls on your emotions and you feel right along.

Bay’s story has been filled with so many hard times for her and my heartached with all of her heartache between the stuff with her sorority house to the drama with her sorority sisters and Topher who is the worst person ever. I was completely entranced by this whole series but the way everything was wrapped up was perfection. Bay’s emotional strength and fortitude was amazing and watch her plug through and overcome all of the obstacles was wonderful. I’m said this series is over but so happy the characters get their happy ending. And man what a way to end things!

it was ok but

I felt like there was so much time wasted on Bianca and Topher and not enough on building actual relationship between the four of them. Cole has known her for years but Ryder and Jagger are ready to say “I love you” after 3-4 interactions with the FMC? I just wish there was more of them together and less on Topher, both books just lacked a bit of chemistry to me because I felt like we did not get a chance to build it up without having Topher or Bianca in it all. I would still recommend them to read just weren’t my favorite.

The twins for the win

A satisfying ending to this great trilogy, we finally see everyone get their just desserts in this final book.
Bay has had to push thru some tough situations yet again in the fall out from the fire. Her ex Topher is as obnoxious as ever, still determined to win her back using nefarious plans. Lucky she has her guys and they eventually all get past Tophers meddling and work things out. Love all three guys, they’re so hot all together, so spicy.
The story wraps up Bay and Lakes story giving us the ending is been rooting for, such a good read

I was so excited to read this book to get answers and at the same time so very sad it was the last in this series. Melissa is an amazing storyteller. She continues Bay's story with slowly adding her men. The ex is up to his usual terrible manipulation. The quad goes through so much pain, heartache, slow forgiveness and healing. And the steamy scenes are fan your face hot. The characters and locations are richly described and I felt I was part of the scenes .

The finale of the series, and also the conclusion to Bay's story.

This book was full of drama as Bay works on fixing the sorority housing issues, avoiding her ex, and figuring out where she stands with the three men in her life.

I liked how it all came together in the end! Those 4 deserved their HEA. The epilogue was sweet.

I've enjoyed this series, and look forward to more from this author.

This is the conclusion to Bay's story. The author takes you on an emotional roller-coaster in this book. From being sad, to angry(Topher, again), awwww moments to happy tears, this book was totally worth it. I loved this story; Bay was inspiring even though she's made up. Her dedication and love to her sisters, both real and soriety, and her love for her men, her niceness to everyone and determination were some of the reasons I couldn't put this book down.

I really felt heartbroken for Bay at the beginning of this narrative, as her unfortunate circumstances appeared to persist relentlessly. It seemed as though there was no hope or relief in sight. However, fortunately, the light at the end of the tunnel finally emerged for Bay, bringing her some much-needed good fortune. I thoroughly enjoyed reading how the story unfolded in favor for Bay and her three men, allowing them to achieve a happy ending.

Bay and her guys are in for a wild ride in thos book and i love it. Ryker is definitely a fave of mine and the mystery in this book had me hooked. I love when a book draws you in and you feel like youvare part of the story and you find yourself talking to your kindle. The ending of the book had me shocked but in a good way. Absolutely recommend this book and the whole series.

A great ending to Bay's story. The redemption arc for the guys was deeply satisfying and not rushed like some. I enjoyed karma taking her shot at the finale, and the epilogue made me squeeee with delight (though i would have loved to see the reaction of the men to the news) All in all with the 2 duets of the Bay twins was a great read.

So much going on in this book. Lots of secrets get revealed in the end. Too bad they couldn’t get punished for all of the things they did but they still got a lot deservedly taken from them. Bay’s guys really have to fight for their right to love her the way they want. I would’ve liked to see more of Lakyn’s wedding scene & also the guys’ reaction to Bay’s news.
