How can a book filled with so much dirty filthy sex be so devoid of eroticism? Can't even say I'm surprised, I read book 1 I knew what I was getting but I just had a teeny tiny bit of hope.
The only reaction this book evoked out of me was relieving my bladder during the golden shower scene.
I love Jade West's earlier books but of late she's been a miss for me....sad!

Hmm, could have been better. The entire book was spicy, however, it wasn’t really spicing for me. Ella has the exact same reaction for every single scene. I’m not even kidding it's like copy and paste, the same feelings and reactions. It was like rereading the same chapter over and over again. It got repetitive and a bit boring. Yes, the proposals were different, however, the way it was written didn’t grab my attention. It was her always doing the dirty talking, her repeating the same stuff over and over again. It could have probably been a lot better.

October 30, 2025I may dnf after numerous tries. The audio narrator was nails on a chalkboard for me so I had to switch to paper and unfortunately for me all I can hear is the dreadful voice of the narrator in my head whenever the main character speaks. *cries*

I give up. DNF. Maybe I'll revisit it someday but I doubt it because of the issues above and because it felt repetitive and excessively long to me. Why use one paragraph to set a scene or whatever when you can write 50 pages instead? I don't know, maybe it's me. Maybe I can't handle words anymore. Le sigh.

If there's one thing that JW knows how to do- it's how to write a good book.
This had me shocked, it had me gagged- and I was silenced 😭. I was so invested and was literally on the edge of my seat by the end of it. it was somehow even more filthy than the previous one, yet was written so tastefully.
This one had a plot where the past one didn't, and it nicely tied together the story. If you liked 'The Naughty List', you're bound to love this one. It was the perfect blend of filth to romance (heavy on the filth obviously 🌚). JW really outdid herself.

I thought I’d read nearly every kink you could and not much would surprise me but here I am surprised because I just read a sex scene that involved him putting stinging nettles inside of her?
Okay on a real note I didn’t LOVE this book as much as the first one but I still did definitely enjoy some aspects of it. Although this has more romance in it I would still say it’s more so a erotica. The first book was pure erotica with a tiny bit of romance at the end and it more so focused on the smut which I kinda preferred as I just didn’t really find myself vibing with the couple and romance aspects of this book.
Although Josh was a sweetheart I just didn’t like these two together. I wasn’t a fan of Tiff and kinda found her relationship with Josh and Ella uncomfortable to read at times regarding boundaries and the way Ella idolised her so much was abit odd. I also wouldn’t say this is ‘healthy’ example of using safe words as it’s very clear Ella would see using a safe word as giving in. I get it’s fiction but this is just a personal preference.
Although some smut scenes were repetitive I found them very captivating to read and I couldn’t put the book down because of it. Although some were more extreme then overs I enjoyed reading about them all.
To be honest if you’re like me and enjoy reading about outrageous smut, are open minded and will read anything once then definitely give it go. I just don’t think it needed to be this long. I would still recommend the book though.
I won’t be doing my usual review and listing all the kinks and tropes as there is simply too many!

If you’re after that pure smut with a good plot that will leave you squirming and wetter than a box of frogs then this is the one for you, you won’t go away unsatisfied. I left this book feeling the same way Ella and Josh’s clients do….blissed out beyond reason. Just read it!

And an even worse one because i feel i am reading the exact same chapter just repeated all over and over and over again! With the exact same event happening, the exact same process, the exact same set up, the exact same execution oh and of course, her very repeated (AND STILL THE SAME IN ALMOST EVERY CASES) "reaction". It can be compared to a time loop. Everything just seems the exact same that one might confuse these hookups are still the exact event simply having that endless repetition. I never cared about
This didn't need to be 600+ pages. It's just so low from start to finish honestly quite the bore 😴 😴 😴 (i wanna sleep and snore). There's never anything else that happens. So progress no development no nuthin. There's that very fine plot That happened on the last three chapters that revolves around Connor and also her prayers but somehow that conflict immediately got resolved A. FEW. DAMN. SENTENCES. LATER. ♥╣[-_-]╠♥ BRO WHY.
And the Romance between Ella & Josh I are of the most obvious things again. Pretty common and pretty cliche for books like these. Okay they fuck but there's literally nothing much else to it. Furthermore, character depth is out of the window, Ella & Josh are very shallow characters that have little to no personality other than being horny. No distinct and varied characteristics.
Honestly I kinda rooted for Connor in here. He's the only one carrying all the plot 😭😭😭, That's a pretty rough thing to carry right on your shoulders all by yourself right Connor? The entire plot is in your hands (and also in his guitar strings and million viewed acoustic diss tracks to your ex), luv u Connor 😇😇😇 you're the only one that is actually remotely interesting in here, one that even is a tad bit realistic and isn't like that cookie cutter, half baked dildo heads that's considered a 'couple'.

As much as I loved the first book and had such high hopes for this one, I was very disappointed.
Firstly...The writing was not as good as the first book. This book felt very cold and was not erotic at all.
Whilst the scenes were good, they were not written as well as 'The Naughty List'
I felt very disconnected during the Daddy scene, whereas in the first book I was 🥵 for it.
The scenes were extremely cringy at times. Actually the whole book, what I read of it, and especially Ella was very very cringy.
I was having second hand embarassment with her and unfortunately the whole book is only her POV.
I wasn't a fan of the romance. It didn't feel organic to me. It was just 2 consenting adults in a kink relationship.
There were some scenes that I honestly couldn't stomach. It wasn't even erotic. It was more about them trying to outdo each other and of course no safe words because that's for losers 🙄
Their first time together when he wrecked her a** I wanted to DNF so badly but I carried on in hopes that it would get better....it didn't.
I was so looking forward to this book because the first one blew me away. Unfortunately it did not deliver.
But I will definitely be re-reading 'The Naughty List' 😉

oh dear lord here we go again.

perhaps… the longest book i’ve ever read???? 633 pages???? seriously, i’ve never read a book longer than 600 pages and to think i spent all that time reading a smut novel…
and before anyone judges me. (which, like why bro? why can’t i read this without someone saying “i won’t judge! (secretly judging)”
ANYWAY it was mainly plot. ella and her new boo thing. finding a new apartment, her crazy ex boyfriend writing a song about her??? this was crazy.
now for the page count, i know that sounds intense.. a big chunky book. but! it quite literally flies by. as our main character ella loves to say “Time flies when you’re having fun” 😏
characters: rated out of 10!
Ella: absolute 10 and i don’t just mean with how HOT the author describes her as! I loved her character growth from the beginning of the first book to the ending of the second, this author really does care about her characters and really put effort into making Ella gain her confidence!!
it did get a little bit annoying how often she referred to herself as a “perfect little goth girl.” but like hey who am i to judge that’s exactly my type.
Josh: 5/10 i personally wasn’t a huge fan of Josh, i felt like Ella was restricting herself from taking more jobs with him around (which is totally fine!) but for Ella's happiness and joy it was so worth it to read about istg she was so happy with him.
however...If it weren't for Josh, Connor probably wouldn't have done what he did.

but she definitely makes up for it when she is in the book, she's an amazing friend to Ella and an amazing character. And in reality, Ella wouldn't be where she is now without her.. sooo🤷♀️🤭

all in all I'm literally having to tell myself that these characters are all FAKE. I'm gonna cry, I can't quite believe it 😭

I read 530 pages of this in one sitting. ok I ate while reading this book. I drank water while reading this book. I CHECKED THE MAIL OUTSIDE WHILE READING THIS BOOK. I ignored everything around me just so i could read this book. and let's just say.. I had fun. I enjoyed myself so much guys I had the best time.
And while I didn't finish it in one day I got really close and only had to read about 15% when I woke up. AND ON TO THE THIRD BOOK!
y'all my Kindle unlimited goes up really soon.. and I can't find these books anywhere else.. pray for me, I'm gonna be shunned away from civilization for the next 5 days locked up in a shed (my bedroom) hoping I can finish the rest of the series before then 😅

I read 530 pages of this in one sitting. ok I ate while reading this book. I drank water while reading this book. I CHECKED THE MAIL OUTSIDE WHILE READING THIS BOOK. I ignored everything around me just so i could read this book. and let's just say.. I had fun. I enjoyed myself so much guys I had the best time.
And while I didn't finish it in one day I got really close and only had to read about 15% when I woke up. AND ON TO THE THIRD BOOK!
y'all my Kindle unlimited goes up really soon.. and I can't find these books anywhere else.. pray for me, I'm gonna be shunned away from civilization for the next 5 days locked up in a shed (my bedroom) hoping I can finish the rest of the series before then 😅

Marginally better than the last book...
...and only cos there is an actual plot and love story going on. The smut level is too high for me but I'm sure others out there would love it. I like the FMC and MMC as people,their confidence and love for each other was sweet... The proposals and clients tho... And the activities were at times too much for me.

Book Review: The Naughtier List by Jade West

This is the sequel to Ella’s story and I was pleasantly happy to read more about her, Josh, and all of her 5 star clients!
I was a bit surprised it took them all so long to figure out about Carly and Connor though, that was a bit obvious to me right away. 😂 How it turned out though at the reveal was so cringe, I felt so bad for Ella!
There were also some situations that I just can’t wrap my head around how these things could happen IRL but I guess they do?! 😆 (see my latest reel for that one at IG - sherimaxwellbooks)
Overall though, I really enjoyed this conclusion to her story and hopefully we see more of her and Josh in the next book!

There’s so much to be said about this book, but due to the explicit content of the book, I can’t say it on here. The book was way more graphic than the first in this duology and that’s saying a lot.
In fact, it was so graphic I found myself making hideous faces while reading. Utterly repulsed by what was on the pages…and I’m no prude.
Anal sex (and fisting!) and stretching dominated the adventures our young heroine, Ella, finds herself in during her hardcore work “proposals.” There was mention of her Adonis boyfriend, Josh, lapping up certain bodily fluids with a dessert spoon after Ella finishes a giant gang bang with an unknown number of men.
The character development is so predictable I half expected Ella to get busy with the next delivery person she saw or the beautiful throw pillows the author spends entirely too much time describing for it not to be sexual. All the main characters talk about is sex. They could be talking about making coffee and somehow anal fisting or DVP gets brought up. The only truly likable character was the first “entertainer” Ella met, Ebony, who while has sex for money, keeps it low key and doesn’t make sex her ENTIRE identity as Ella does.
Ella was so obsessed about being a “hardcorer” that she completely detached herself from reality in order to achieve her dreams. Thank god her boyfriend kept her grounded…no wait…he wanted to eat other men’s spunk straight from the her “needy” holes. I wish I was making this up.
This book felt like a swan song to sex addiction in the most unhinged way possible. It was like a pregnant fever dream gone completely batshit crazy.
I never thought I was too vanilla until I read this book, but I’ll gladly stick to missionary to avoid the absolute beating Ella’s vaginal canal (and did I mention her butt?) take in this book.

I've read lots of smut in my time. I've read lots of Jade West as well. I read the first book in this series and loved it. This book, however, was absolutely disgusting. Sorry if that yuks your yum, but it had to be said. The story between the FMC and her bf was the one part that I liked. This really should be renamed the Nasty List instead. Moments that had me gagging and or cringing so hard I nearly DNFd this book:
-her anus being torn and bleeding by his jacobs ladder piercing
-shoving 4 fingers AND a wash cloth directly into a rectum
-stinging nettles up her vagina
-her eating cum out of her bf ass right after 2 other men fisted him and loaded him up
-drinking piss
-there were others, but these are the ones I can't wash out of my brain
Even if these people aren't afraid of STDs, they should be afraid of dying from E. Coli, or ruptured intestines or infected anal fistulas. JFC. If there is a 3rd book I'm not sure I'll read it because again, I nearly DNFd this one. Consider yourself forewarned.

Honestly, it could have even gone further because I'm a depraved bitch. I loved it. I loved the fact that this series explores what for so many people is almost taboo in its kinkiness. It celebrates the human condition. How far can you take it?
The truth is, pretty fuggin far if you set your mind to it.
Connor reminded me SO MUCH of my ex, and Ella reminds me of me in so many ways, it's almost frightening. Taking huge risks to help support a dream for a long term turd. Having to relearn to rebuild trust and belief in yourself after that takes a dive. I've not found my Josh yet, but god damn, I'll be happy when I do.

I had to DNF this book halfway through... Listen... LISTEN.... I don't have triggers and RARELY DNF a book. I'm the person you find a book and don't know if you'd like it? I read it and tell you if it's got anything you won't like.... that being said... I CANNOT get past Weston (Josh) coming back from being filled with 2 dicks THEN getting fisted... that part is fine and dandy. Whatever floats your boat... BUT he then teaches her by allowing her to fist him?? THEN goes to prep her so he can fist her... scoops all the cum out his ass so she can taste it.. then use it as lube?!?!?..... nahhhh I'll read fisting and getting double dicked down all day... hell I was all for Ella getting used by 8 men and getting "kidnapped" and fucked senseless by a masked payer... but I can't get behind eating 2 men's cum from an asshole 💀 PROPS TO YOU JADE WEST YOU HAVE FOUND MY LIMIT. 3.5 stars. Wayyyy tooo loooongggg. I absolutely adored The Naughty List so I was very happy with a sequel came along. However, this one was a bit much. The writing just kind of went on and on. Could have been much more succinct. I did like the character development and how easy things were between Ella and Josh. I loved how much the clients respected Ella. The scenes were wild. I was straight up concerned for her mental health and physical health. For sure she’d get a UTI, right? RIGHT?? There were like 4 different endings. They were interesting but I would have preferred 1-2. Thankfully there was no third act breakup.

The highly anticipated sequel didn't disappoint. It was filthier, it was naughtier and it was unhinged in parts that I had to take several breaks just to recenter myself and double check that I'm actually into what I'm reading! This book is HEAVY on tiggers and on filth (I mean we're talking about Jade West's books here), but honestly, don't go in blind, do read those triggers and make sure you're comfortable with everything there! I honestly want to see Jade's browser history while she was writing this book it should be wild!
Now, while I was absolutely in love with the first book, this one took a different turn. there was no rush for Ella to make money and I loved the glimpse into her life with Josh (Weston), the first half of the book was mostly them getting to know each other doing some filthy proposals and living their life. now the second part is where the plot started to thicken a bit (and while the book is more smut then plot, this is where we get glimpses of that plot). We get to see the trash ex again (Connor), and the guy just doesn't want to give up in his delusions that Ella should be his! Truthfully I hoped he would have more ammo against Ella (there would be more actual blackmail going on), but hey it was still entertaining, I did wish his demise would have been so much more spectacular!
We got to see some of the users from last time (if you loved Daddy, he's there again, and the new proposal is oh so good!), I did want to see some others as well, but hey we got new proposals and I was there for it. (pity we didn't have any FF), but we have a hell lot of MM going on and that was too hot to pass up! Holly got to experience new things and some of them I was honestly sitting there eating popcorn (for some parts popcorn might not have been the best choice, but hey I was enjoying the show!).
Overall, if you're craving a book filled with filthy spice (minimal plot, but it's still there), amazing characters and just a fun time (please make sure you do your research before attempting anything that Ella/Holly is doing and use lots of LUBE) this book is for you!
