5 Star Readers Favourite Review ~ Lucinda E Clarke Although this peasant girl has no idea how she is equipped to meet a king and subsequently lead France in the battle against the English, her blind faith is endearing. This tale of a pure soul, with none of today’s teenage angst, is a refreshing change against the backdrop of a simpler, non-materialistic life. It is a joy to read and ‘live in’ for a few hours. The author has shared a fascinating period of history and brings Jehanne d’Arc vividly to life six hundred years later.

An interesting read of a fictionalized account of Joan of Arc in her preparation for her God-given mission. Quite compelling and draws you into the story so well that I finished it in less than one day, grasping for more. A definite easy read.
