The author hears about ghost stories, haunting, UFOs, and such, and he researches the information and how through years people encounter simular viewings. This is a interesting compilation of these occurrences. Narration is clearly done, explaining the incidents and situations.

"Stranger Sheffield: More Ghost Stories, UFO Encounters, & Other Strange Tales" by Adrian Finney, narrated by the captivating Peter McGiffen, is a must-have for anyone intrigued by the eerie, the mysterious, and the downright spine-chilling. This book takes you deep into the heart of Sheffield, unearthing tales of the unexplained that will leave you both awed and unsettled.

From the infamous Bunting Nook to the Stocksbridge Bypass—already steeped in supernatural lore—to UFO sightings that boggle the mind, Adrian Finney has masterfully curated a collection of stories that showcase the Steel City’s most otherworldly moments. And for history buffs, there’s even a macabre dive into the brutal details of Mary Queen of Scots' beheading—a tale as horrifying as it is fascinating.

I have listened to the Audio version of this book.
Another great selection of about 30 ghostly tales from in and around Sheffield from the pen of Adrian Finney. The stories are well written and entertaining keeping the listener glued to the book. I have listened to it twice in the last week to try and make sure I missed nothing! LOL! I particularly like the addition of "Final Goodbyes" and "The Myth of the modern ghost" at the end of the book, the first bringing back memories of personal experience and the second a kind of insight into Adrian's own thoughts. Pete McGiffen is once again brilliant in his narration adding drama and suspense to the telling. Highly Recommended listen.
