All my life, my dad and I lived as outcasts in Starlight City. We dodged the council’s oppressive laws. But when a sudden accident takes his life, I’m left alone, undocumented, and ultimately screwed.
With my heat coming and no drugs to help me through it, desperation drives me into the hands of the Unholy Trinity. Dante, Knight, and Reaper are three deadly alphas ruling the city’s criminal underworld, and they offer me temporary protection—but only if I follow their
1. Sing in their club
2. Obey them without question
And, most importantly…
3. Don’t sleep with any of them, no matter what our primal urges say.
Easier said than done.
They might call me Angel, but these dark gods are determined to corrupt me.
And now, with an old enemy and the council after me, I don’t have much of a choice.
To save myself, I’m going to have to let myself fall.
Fallen Omega is a contemporary omegaverse standalone with dark themes and multiple love interests.
Ugh, I don't know. I had such high hopes for this. It started out so good but ended up falling flat.
First of all, the blurb isn't accurate. At all. Rule 1, singing? Yeah that doesn't start until like 350pages in (75% ish). Rule 2, obey them? Is this referring to her just having to waitress and buss and stuff? Rule 3, no sleeping with them? HA. That's only for the heat, which was before any of the arrangement was set up. Literally, please, fix the blurb.
This book started out with some very strong, very delicious dystopian vibes. And that is exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately, it quickly morphed into more of a run-of-the-mill mafia story. Which...is not even a little my cup of tea. The dystopian element felt very forgotten which was a big disappointment.
The pacing felt very off. This definitely was influenced by the blurb being incorrect, but also there was just some general slog in there as well. I was kind of over the ish by the 350 page mark. I think a lot could have been cut.
Especially with Dante's bullshit. He was not the vibes. He didn't really have any redeeming qualities and I could not see any real chemistry or connection between him and Liz. He doesn't really get redeemed by the end either--and the apology and declaration of love at the very end just feels off and not genuine. I think he needed some more balance to his character.
The spice was good... except for the fact that she basically instantly orgasms immediately every single time. It got very old. Like, I understand you're an omega breeding sex machine but that isn't that fun to read about. The best spice has build to it (and I'm not talking a slowburn plot, I mean within each scene itself). Instant orgasms cheapen that. Include it once or twice for emphasis, but c'mon.
I was really looking forward to this and thought I hit a jackpot when I started it, but ended up having more complaints than praises by the end.
Lizette “Liz” is an omega who got three alphas called Unholy Trinity attracted to her. Dante, the sort of de facto leader and asshole extravagante, Knight, the literal knight in shining armor, soft and sweet and who's into Daddy Dom kink and lastly, Reaper who’s the brute, the spy, the cold hearted and the silent type.
Booooy this got dragged on for too long. There were just so many repetitive phrases and thoughts that I was screaming OKAY I GET IT I DO PLEASE MOVE ON. But I love all the characters except Dante. At first he was such an asshole and I thought imma give him a leeway because duhh that’s what’s character development is for, then it turned into this deep denial and continuous asshole moments that made me want to punch him because he’s so stagnant! Meanwhile Knight and Reap are slowly changing, he literally stopped with the denial at the LAST CHAPTER and at that point I was so tired of his ass.
Thank God for Liz and Knight and Reap, otherwise I wouldn’t like this books. I wished we got more Reap scenes though and less Dante scenes. Knight’s scenes are what I needed to get through the Dante chapters.
P.S. the MVP of this book is Liz’s dad.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
this story is honestly a 2.5. I understand what the author was going for but I feel she missed the marked in several places.
we were supposed to have these low level mafia-esque stakes but it just felt like random plot point that didn’t really add anything to the story. In all honesty, this was just a book for an author to write dub con. I don’t feel or believe any true connections between any of the characters. it was truly just not a good book.
The book didn’t need to be 500 pages. I got to 70% and wanted to end and there was still barely established plot. I didn’t like the side characters at all, they were so rude and I get it was supposed to be some sort of found family but the characters were just jerks and had no personality. which can also be said for our mmc’s, nothing redeemable about them at all.
I won’t be purchasing this book just because it’s not memorable enough to trophy it. I did receive this as an arc but it looks like this book has been out a while and I missed the memo.
Plot line was perfect orphan omega hids with the big bads of the mafia world. Each has their own kink. Daddy, primal, denial. Her past and theirs connect and they are giving the middle finger to the patriarchy.
I feel like things just didn't flow. There was something missing.
For example Like why did Knight wait 5 days to hunt Dante for ripping his knot from her?
A shit ton of dubcon🙌🏾 Wasn't the biggest fan of no safeword comment. 😕 Knight is a simp from first glance.
Fallen Omega is a dark, Whychoose, contemporary Omegaverse. This can be read as a standalone.
You have: Dark Why Choose Omegaverse Gang/Mafia St@lking Prim@l play Fated mates Knøtting Triggering content Kinks Degradation/Praise Bøndage Daddy Vibes HEA
There's nothing I love more than dark Omegaverse and this was pretty dark. Lizette is strong, especially after everything she's been through. There were some parts where it got pretty slow, but it still was a good read. The spice was FIIIIRE and pretty good world building.
DNF at 75ish%, I just couldn’t get into this book, I felt like all the words where so jumbled and made me feel dyslexic AF even though I’m not, it felt like all the characters thoughts where all over and nobody could get a good clear sentence out. I just felt like this had so many playing story lines in it that it just didn’t make sense. I had such high hopes for this book for months but this one just fell so flat for me. Basically a whole lotta of “I want you but I don’t” from Dante, Reapers just we’ll Reaper and whatever the fucking is going on with him and Knight was idk man this was just not it.
I have to say that maybe I'm being a little nice with 4 stars and that some might would give it 3 at least when it comes to the omegaverse dynamic. I will admit that I'm still new to that dynamic and so I don't know how much this follows the typical dynamic. However, it really kept my interest and made me want to see what was happening next... despite the fact that I felt like some things could have been explained a little better. It had some moments when I think it would have been better to slow down and explain the lore a bit. Yet, at the same time it does a good job of blending the world building into the story so that you don't get bored. I don't think we played up the Mafia vibe enough more just the feared crime lords element.
I don't usually enjoy the virgin FMC vibe especially when it's mentioned so much. However, I was able to look past that in this one because each of the three MMC's had such dramatic differences when it came to the spicy moments. I wouldn't necessarily say this is one of the spiciest books I've read, but it does deliver on the spice. It almost has a hint of Den of Vipers going on. Overall, I think the writing was engaging but did have moments that could have been better. It might would have benefitted to cut the novel down just a bit, but it does keep you engaged in the story... it's just the excess storylines that don't feel needed when the book is standalone. For the most part thought I really enjoyed it and would be interested in reading more by this author.
This book is a gutturally hot, like in a flaming-inferno-I’m going to you know where for this-type of steam. This isn’t a sweet little omegaverse novel where omega meets alpha and they fall in love and defeat the big bad. No, Liz is anything but a typical omega and her alphas are the type of morally grey men we like to doom scroll the tok for. Each guy is completely different and brings a piece of peace for Liz that is all their own. I love how the author was able to make things so clear and defined with their relationships. The action with the overall story arc doesn’t miss either, with mystery and breadcrumbs going all the way to the end. But the steam? That’s the main attraction. If you like daddy dom, denial, primal, knotting, hero complex, dirty girl, edging, good lord the list could go on and on - you definitely need to read this book.
I would like to thank Booksprout for the opportunity to read this ARC before release.
Possible spoilers, read at your own risk.
I would also like to advise anyone who is looking to read this smutty, dark mafia romance, reverse harem in the omegaverse. There are some tropes/ triggers you may need to be aware of:
+ Attempted Rape + Age Gap + Enemies to Lovers + Bully + Primal Play + Why Choose + Daddy Dom + Death
Now I really loved this book. It was engaging. The plot was so simple and yet complex and kept you guessing for just a little while.
Lizette has a lot of growth throughout the story with a bit of naivety as she wasn't taught everything she may need to know.
Knight, Reaper, and Dante have varying states of alphahole attitudes but all very different kinks that they do enjoy and as the deadly underworld rulers known as Unholy Trinity.
In exchange for Liz to gain shelter and protection with them, they have rules, and she is expected to follow them or be cased out to her own fate of uncertainty.
This story with its plot, which never gets lost amongst the escapades of the MC's, is beautifully written and really shows the depth of each character, sends you on a bit of an emotional roller-coaster but always has you captured in the sexual tention and sexual moments that also hold a lot of emotions, trying to work them out and what they are going to do.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m surprised that I found this read so enjoyable. The plot was nice and the world building was pretty good. I went into this book thinking there would be more singing involved due to the synopsis, but was pleasantly surprised to find that not to be true. You’re not left hanging at the end of this book. Everything is resolved by the end.
This was overall a good story. Darker alpha and omega romance with some primal prey/hunter vibes. Liz is an unregistered omega trying to stay hidden. While trying to get some blockers to keep her hidden she gets discovered. Enter the unholy trinity, offering protection, but for a price. This story had potential and I didn’t anticipate the twist in it. However I wasn’t a fan of all of the short sentences that was in this. With the over abundance of sentences it sometimes because confusing because the topic would bounce around or characters would be talking and I couldn’t tell which ones were talking. The relationship development was a little odd in this one for me. None of them truly seemed on board until the very end. All in all if you’re looking for a dark alpha/omega romance, rough play, and a little bit of action/mystery then this is for you.
Liz finds herself alone after her father's death, just trying to stay under the radar of the council. But for some reason they want her, badly. She finds help with a pack that doesn't want her. Will they be the death of her or the salvation everyone needs
Meet Lizette the singing Angel that recently lost her dad and with his teachings of staying off the council radar she almost succeeds until she meets them..... The Unholy Trinity!! Dante... the very personification of hell and desire Knight... the knight in darkened shining armor And Reaper... need I say more... literal grim reaper you don't see coming until it's your turn Will she stay at their club of sin as aprisoner or their salvation!! What happens when the council comes calling!!! This book had it all!!! Darkness, lust, innocence!!! Loved every minute of Lizette and her tainted alphas!!!
I WISH I had enjoyed this more than I did, but this book just hit all the wrong points for me. I went into this book excited because I adore a shy, soft FMC, it's the most relatable for me. But my god did this book drag for me. After the first set up of the story, we're basically in book edging territory for about 65% of the book. It's painfully slow and I somehow slogged through the constant repetition of "Liz is so fucking hot, but we can't fuck her". I got to around the 60 something percent mark when one of the girls working for Dante and Lizette watch him on Liz's behalf and afterwards when Liz is practically clawing for any kind of attention because he's straight up depriving her, Dante goes on his whole "we can't fuck her, not yet" and I found myself questioning "why can't you fuck her again?? I've forgotten" so unless I forgot a major plot point, Dante's entire stance on all of this is some INSANE edging to the point of just... being a dick? Like girlie didn't agree to that, you just decided to because you're an asshole who thinks yourself a good dominant by punishing an innocent girl that fell into your lap...
Knight is the only one that passes as an actual MMC in my mind. Dante is an asshole who just does whatever he wants and then SAYS that he does whatever he wants because "I'm the Unholy Trinity" yeah okay, you want your shell necklace, side fringe and 2000s boy band posters to go with that attitude? He doesn't even grovel for what he does to Lizette even when he outlines and has it said to his face SO MANY TIMES that Liz!!! IS INNOCENT!!! She's just a girl that got caught up with them and he's too proud to not see it through and let his hero complex win.
Also I have to say, the lack of actual character growth or interest on the page is quite shocking. The only time we see Liz actually talk to someone about herself is with Knight during their ✨scene✨ but of course, it's not that easy. It's a conversation locked behind a descriptor, i.e. "he talks to me, just about my life, growing up, my likes and dislikes, what I thought of dinner" - that's it. That's all we get.
I cannot work out if it's just me or if it's a genuine issue with the writing, but I had a really hard time actually following conversations. They came across as very confusing and I struggled to understand who was actually speaking sometimes, especially when another character that wasn't part of the "pack" was involved. I say pack loosely because I think this is probably the least pack like I've seen a pack other than the trilogy by Lenora Rosewood 😐
Genuinely, I wanted to love this book. The premise seemed really exciting, I love seeing a shy FMC as a main character who is a bit of a damsel, but she's treated like shit by Dante and never feels like there's enough of a resolution to make that more forgivable to me. I liked the idea of the high stakes, more dystopian, dark style omegaverse where "the council" makes your choices for you, though we don't actually get to see a lot when it comes to world building. The storyline of Ghost is resolved in a total of like 1-2 chapters at the end. Liz's story takes a disappointing turn when they pull the whole , and it never really feels like we actually see much of Liz's story considering about 70% of the book is spent watching Dante edge himself and be a grumpy pos while Liz suffers for it and THEN we start to get resolutions in the last 30%. I wanted to at least give this book 2 stars, but I realised as I was writing this review that unfortunately this book is a 1 star for me. I hope this book appeals to someone else who can enjoy it more than I did.
Omfg I literally forgot that Reaper exists. Sorry my guy ig we're back to reviewing - he's supposed to be our primal, predator chasing prey guy but the scenes with him are quite underwhelming and he just sort of... exists? I mean Liz is horny for him so go her but there's no real connection other than Dante pointing out in his brooding monologues that Liz looks at Reaper like he's not a which would be quite a nice set up for an edgy MMC, but he's just... I'M SORRY he's giving me Jasper from Twilight with the thousand yard stare vibes. They also outline that Reaper never talks and that he's abnormally quiet, but?? Bro speaks quite a bit for a guy who supposedly only speaks when it matters? Perhaps that's just me who is also an introvert and is looking at his words per minute like... yeah no that checks out as normal introvert to me.
What I love about a Brooke Harper book is that it's not all about the spice, well it is, but there's a real story, a real plot, a real mystery that supports and cradles the graphic scenes. Which are yummy BTW....
After her father dies, Lizette is all alone, in a state of desperation, with no to help her through her heat. Oh yes, she's an Omega, coming into her heat, exuding pheromones for all and sundry. A free for all. She's not mated, she's undocumented, and to compound her problems, she loses her job. With Omega's being nothing more than breeding fodder, to be used, to be controlled, the Council is onto her, wanting to secure her "services", wanting to control HER. So she runs, straight into the lion's den. Into Dante, Reaper and Knight, the three alpha's live outside the law, a law determined by a Council that's unjust, that's corrupt.
Awesome character representation by the author, so well explored, their inner "mechanism" so well exposed, the reason they are who they are and no, they're not the hardcore personas, they're not the killers of their reputation, well they are, but they're fighting the good fight, they're fighting to free the stronghold the Council has enforced. I loved the distinct differences in them, they're flawed, they're imperfect, they hide their hurt behind a tough exterior. Knight is a true knight in not so shining armour, Reaper is stoic and deadly but gentle and kind, Dante...is Dante, hardarsed, controlling and fearful of letting anyone in. Enter Lizette and everything the guys knew, everything they THOUGHT they knew, flew out the window!
Lizette is a wonderful character, even though she's down and out, even though she's been sheltered by her father and incredibly naive, she has spunk in spades! She holds her own, in every situation, she won't allow anyone to use her, she clings to her right to choose. I really enjoyed watching her progression from fearful, uncertain, lonely and naïve individual into someone who's not afraid to push, to bend the rules and get what she deserves. The burning need she has for the 3 alpha's, initially a purely physical one, develops into a beautiful love. Ms Harper drew the lines carefully, bringing them slowly together until the lines joined up seamlessly. And the reason that Lizette was in so much danger, the reason she was hunted by the council, the author kept just out of reach, until, when she did reveal it, it was a bombshell of note!
So, to get back to my initial statement, yes it's steamy, yes it's spicy, but it's the MORE in the story is what keeps me captivated, the wanting to see the layers of the characters peeled away, the wanting to solve the mystery of the why, and the delicious HEA at the end that hits the spot! Great read!
OMG!!! This story was PHENOMENAL!! One of the best Omegaverse stories I have read in a while. It was emotionally intense, and it pulled everything from me. I laughed, I sobbed into my pillow, and I fell hopelessly in love with Knight, Dante, Reaper and Liz. Plus, these four set my body on FIRE and I was sure my panties were never going to make it to the end of this story in one piece!
Liz is an innocent, naïve, and sweet young woman, but totally fierce when she needs to be. Her life is in shambles after losing her father and going in to heat without help. And when she decides to go looking for help, she ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her life is about to be flipped upside down and nothing will ever be the same again for her.
Dante, Knight and Reaper, three extremely dangerous, brutal and fierce alpha men, get sucked into the whirlwind of Liz and her delicious aroma. They fight tooth and nail not to fall for Liz (well some do harder than others), but the pull of this little innocent omega is just too hard to withstand.
“…with Knight it’s comfort. Dante is sparks, fire, hurdles. Reaper is…untold and unexplored highs and lows.”
The banter between the four of them was different depending on who was doing the talking. Knight is a sweet daddy dom who says sweet and adorable things to Liz. Reaper is the silent violent type that doesn’t need too many words to have Liz panting for him. And Dante is the fierce, angry, bully that uses painful and brutally truthful words that hurt Liz more than anything.
But the chemistry between Liz and all four men is explosive, insanely intense and utterly undeniable. The things each man says to her and does to her body – OMG – it was so freaking HOT and SPICY!!! Good luck trying not to reach for Buzzy in order to ease the ache these men are going to do to you along with Liz. It was titillating and SINFULLY DELICIOUS!!
Filled with action, suspense, violence, anger, pain, passion and eventual love all wrapped up in one hell of a story. It kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with anticipation and crying into my pillow at the way it all wonderfully and beautifully ends.
Lizette (Liz/Angel) has spent her entire life on the run with her father. Now, he's gone, and she’s facing her first heat alone, vulnerable, and with no one to guide her. Desperate for blockers, she quickly finds herself in hot water, landing squarely on the council’s radar. In this world, omegas like her are viewed as nothing more than breeders, and the council has their sights set on pairing her with a creepy old alpha. But Liz refuses to be trapped, so she runs to the only place she can and finds herself in the clutches of the Unholy Trinity. Knight, Reaper, and Dante—three alphas who are about to change her life forever. Knight is true to his name, though his armor isn’t without its dents and blemishes. He’s the first to fall hard for Liz. Reaper is the dark, dangerous one, the one who will hunt her down, but who’s surprisingly kind and gentle. And then there’s Dante—the alpha-hole who fights his attraction every step of the way, but can't resist the pull. Each of these men brings something different to the table, and together they create an irresistible force. Despite her sheltered upbringing, Liz proves to be more than just a damsel in distress. She’s got a fierce will to survive and a burning desire for freedom. Though she starts off naive and scared, she refuses to accept the fate others have planned for her, determined to carve out her own path. At over 450 pages, the story delivers plenty of space for rich world-building and character development, but it’s the spice that really steals the show. You can expect a healthy dose of rough, dirty, and unapologetically steamy scenes that will leave your heart racing. Yet, beyond all the heat, what truly stands out is how the author masterfully weaves together a love story that culminates in a beautiful, hard-earned HEA. Ths book had me from the get go, every spare minute I had, the kindle was opened and my nose glued to the screen. I loved all of the characters. I love how Liz evolved, she does wear her heart on her sleeve, but she sees the true character of each of the men. Dante, the controlled Alpha, who will keep her on the edge. Reaper, the quiet, intense one, who will hunt her down, making her his prey. And lastly, Knight, who is her rescuer, who is the Daddy dom, who saves her from herself and her thoughts.
All 3 Alphas don't believe in the Council control, they live outside of the law. Liz/Angel comes on their radar and they are hooked as soon as they see and smell her. They may not want an Omega, they don't want that tie, that can be used against them but where Angel is concerned she has them hooked, some just take a little longer, denying that there is anything there apart from lust.
But she is also on the Council's radar but why? What is so special about this 1 omega that the council will not stop until they have her? But Angel is theirs, she belongs to the alphas and no one else.
The story line is really good, loved the energy of the characters. Each bringing some different to the table. I love how the men bring out a side of her she didn't know she had, but at the same time, she brings something out in them too. I like the pace of the book, how it drew me in and kept me there.
I'm now looking for her other books, I can't wait to read them if this is the standard through all of them.

Lizzette has been living undocumented by the council and avoiding its laws her entire life. Then her father unexpectedly passed away, and she is left alone in Starlight City. She's an omega facing her first heat all alone and without any medication to help control it. It's at a bar that she runs into The Unholy Trinity, the alphas who control the criminal underworld. Dante, Knight, and Reaper offer to take her in temporarily and give her protection under certain terms. She has no other choice but to agree. Yet, that doesn't mean she's not going to fall hard for these men even though they may not want her.
Fallen Omega is a dark, why choose, omegaverse romance. The spice in this one starts in the very first chapter, and it is smoking hot. The pack in this book is made up of three very sexy morally grey alphas who are not looking to add an omega to their pack until the very alluring Lizzette lands in their bar. Lizzette is completely alone and going through her first heat. When she meets Dante, Knight, and Reaper, they spark a fire in her. Each member of the Unholy Trinity is uniquely different, and their relationship with Lizzette is, too. While there is a good plot, the spice takes the predominant lead in the book. I'm not complaining about that in the least, though. This is the first book I've read by Brooke Harper, but I'm definitely checking out her backlist after reading this one!
Fallen Omega by Brooke Harper is a mesmerizing blend of forbidden desire, primal instincts, and raw survival. Set in the oppressive world of Starlight City, this omegaverse standalone captures the reader’s attention with its fierce heroine and the tantalizing pull of the three enigmatic alphas.
Angel’s plight as an undocumented outcast thrusts her into a desperate situation where survival means navigating the dangerous allure of Dante, Knight, and Reaper—three men who exude dominance, danger, and dark charm. Harper skillfully weaves tension, both in the simmering chemistry between Angel and her would-be protectors and the external threats hunting her.
The rules of their arrangement heighten the stakes, and the push-and-pull of their primal urges adds a tantalizing edge. Angel’s journey from vulnerable outcast to a woman embracing her power amid the chaos is both empowering and deeply emotional. The Unholy Trinity’s dynamic personalities—Dante’s control, Knight’s wildness, and Reaper’s quiet intensity—create a perfect storm of temptation that’s impossible to resist.
With vivid world-building, a mix of suspense and steamy romance, and themes of resilience and trust, Fallen Omega is an unputdownable read. Fans of dark romance and omegaverse stories will revel in this intoxicating tale of love, danger, and the strength found in falling.

This story had a lot of potential, but missed the mark by a long shot. For starters, a lot of the sentences were choppy or incomplete, leading to a poor reading experience. There were wrong capitalization for words that either needed to be capitalized or didn’t need it, misuse of punctuation marks, and sooooo many tense shifts.
If this author had an editor, the editor scammed her.
I’m so willing to look over grammatical errors as long as it’s not every single page. Unfortunately, this book had errors on every single page—maybe even more frequently.
Next, we have unrealistic characters.
Yes, I’m aware that this is a PNR book, but the characters and world should still feel realistic in the setting you chose.
The alphas are all 30+ years old, but they somehow manage to act like teenage boys. They talk like them too. The banter between the FMC and the MMCs is so childish, it makes me cringe. Simply put, the characters don’t seem to be well rounded and they lack depth.
The transitions between scenes are either really choppy or non-existent. There’s little to no buildup whatsoever. For example: the first kiss Lizette and Knight had came out of NOWHERE. It felt so random that I couldn’t even feel the tension between them (that they supposedly had for one another).
I ended up DNFing this book around 40% in. I really wanted to like it, but it felt like an outline more than a story.
I am a lover of the omegaverse, I love anything that has to do with true mates/fated mates. I absolutely adore a harem/reverse harem. If you don't do anything else, purchase this title.
Fallen Omega was initially a gamble for me, I read snippets and assumed that it'd be like every other omegaverse story that I've read. I have pretty level/low hopes when jumping into books centered around mate/fated mates, but I was pleasantly surprised. This book was one that I picked up and quickly began to fall in love with. The characters seemed real, the setting was gritty in ways that appealed to my inner chaos-abuser. It was a read that will definitely be reread multiple times.
My favorite character, despite the male leads being absolutely breathtaking, was the FMC. I absolutely loved the personality, the struggle, the inner-monologue, the grit, and the pain that this character experienced. I really enjoyed how relatable the FMC was in minor and some major ways, how easy it was to envision this whole book through her eyes--not to mention the relationships she formed and how they came about.
Please, for the love of pristine hardcovers, check this piece out! Brooke Harper was absolutely fabulous, and this book is worth the time.

This book was really awesome and it had all the things that make you read from cover to cover. This was the perfect omegaverse book for me as it had your criminal that ran the underworld but they weren’t actually “bad” guys when you read what the Council is like, some banter between the FMC and the 3 MMC of the Unholy Trinity, some drama, and of course sexy times.
Lizette was on her own after her father died and thought she was handling everything decently but was unprepared when her heat started to make itself known to those around her. She tries to get meds to suppress her heat but runs into the law who alerts the council that she is an unregistered omega. Doing anything she can to avoid their clutches she ends up following a scent into a bar when she feels threatened only to stumble into the Unholy Trinity’s territory. Dante, Reaper and Knight all have their own paths in their pack but are all alphas. When a mistake is made and she goes fully into her heat, the three alphas step up to protector her. They push all the buttons on each other and I am 100% here for it as it felt like foreplay to me. Lizette sees more in each of the three alphas and past their walls than they have ever let anyone before and they are unsettled by it but slowing falling under her melody as she becomes the angel to their unholy trinity.
Brooke Harper is the queen of writing in my eyes and can do no wrong, and Fallen Omega, a dark why choose Omegaverse is no exception! If you love a good blend of the dark side and a fan of omega/alpha hierarchy then this is the one for you!
Our beautiful omega Lizette has been living in the shadows of her city, hiding from the council and their archaic laws until her father tragically passes away and leaves her to fend for herself: with no way to suppress her heat once the meds run out. So what’s an unregistered omega going to do in a city meant to destroy those unprotected and a council out for their own agenda? Probably NOT catch the attention of the Unholy Trinity would be best….But oops. Fate has other plans. Dante, Knight and Reaper offer Liz a slight haven, a place where she can continue doing what she loves, but only in one condition. Nothing happens between the four. Well…let’s see how long our beautiful omega can resist three sexy af alphas with all the right temptations and angst to sweeten the pot.
This was a captivating read and I loved how the story progressed and how the walls so carefully created quickly started to crumble. Full of fun banter and sexy times galore this is a definite must read for sure
I really loved this book, it was so engaging and I couldn’t put it down. The plot was interesting and kept me engaged throughout the story. The characters were lovable, well… eventually lol (some of them). This book was well written and definitely show depth to it.
I loved the characters, each of them had their own uniqueness about them. Lizette grew a lot through the story and definitely learned things she didn’t know. She was naive about somethings. Knight, Reaper, and Dante…. Where to even begin with these MMCs lol. They were all different and alphaholes. I eventually started to like them lol, but it did take a minute.
One thing I loved about this story was when the men finally came around lol they began to show a side that I loved and came to care for the FMC. The spice was very nice, that’s always a plus for me! The tension and passion had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times!
Overall, this omegaverse was such a good read! I throughly enjoyed every moment of the book and can’t wait to read more by this author! Highly recommend if your looking for a new dark omegaverse!
Fallen Omega: A Dark Why Choose Omegaverse by Brooke Harper is a captivating and intense read that you won't be able to put down. When Liz faces the loss of her father, she finds herself in a precarious situation. Fortunately, the Unholy Trinity—composed of alphas Knight, Dante, and Reaper—steps in to provide the support she desperately needs. Will Liz discover the protection and strength she seeks with these dangerous men?
The characters in this story are exceptional. Liz is far from a typical sweet and helpless omega, and the alphas in her life are complex and intriguing, challenging initial perceptions. The narrative is thrilling and keeps you fully engaged as the dynamics between Liz, her alphas, and the council unfold. With plenty of spice, this story is hard to put down.
For anyone who enjoys dark contemporary why-choose omegaverses, Fallen Omega is an absolute must-read! It features themes of forced proximity, organized crime, enemies to lovers, and steamy heats, all woven into a tale filled with action and excitement. Readers will undoubtedly appreciate the happily-ever-after in this standalone omegaverse.
I really struggled getting to 31% in this book. Couldn’t get any further.
My main issue with this book is reasoning. There really wasn’t any or it was so weak I was rolling my eyes. She barely has money and lost both her jobs and had her suppressants stolen, but she decides to go spend money at a bar. Not to mention she has a go bag and knows she’s going to have to run. The MMCs whom she doesn’t know, lock her in a room for 3 days by herself, and when they finally let her go home almost as soon as they drop her off one of the guys goes to her apartment and tells her to grab all her stuff and she just pack up without any fight or reason even though she had been begging to leave.
The other thing that bothered me was the repetitive stuff, such as she could be a plant or part of the council. They go on and on about it even after they confirm she isn’t. They also have this weird thing with babies, “we don’t babies” or go have babies, or I don’t want kids etc etc etc. It was just weird and unnecessary especially having to repeat it for no reason. Maybe the author has a thing about kids?
Is there a word for captivated and confused all at the same time? Because that’s how I feel.
Tbh I had no idea wtf was happening for a lot of this (the writing was both stilted and flowery???? Somehow???) and the structure of this OV was both unique yet confusing and not fully explained??? And also are we sure she knows what a Daddy Dom is?? Or did she just want one of them to be a “daddy”?? Because I think we missed the mark with that one.
But I also couldn’t stop reading this book.
The author needed a few more plot development beta readers.
These characters were messy and insane and I don’t think even they knew what they wanted but yeah the vibes were still high somehow and, honestly, I’d read another one of these. Again, I’d probably be lost, but whatever I had fun with Fallen Omega so I’m sure I’d have fun with a different book by this author. I just, it’s so disappointing because this could have been SO GOOD but also this author feels more “I like happy OV but wanted to write dubcon and dark so I tried it” ya know?
