I met the author, Lucinda Michalski, on an elevator in a hotel outside of Oklahoma City and when she heard I was from North Dakota and knew Minnesota well, she excitedly shared that she’d just published her first book, SOS, set in the Vergas, MN area. She was so excited and proud that I promised to read it as soon as I could get a copy.
SOS is a very well-written book with interesting characters and a lot of action. The main characters are likable (and unlikable) and her plot line keeps you guessing. My only wish is that Mrs Michalski had written just a little bit more, as the book left me with a few questions. Maybe they will be answered in a sequel. 😊

Fast moving. Lots of characters to keep track of. Keeps you hooked so that you don't lose track of who is doing what! Keeps you guessing as to what will happen next
