Cute but incomplete
As I was reading this i kept thinking, oh there's a second book so that will clean up the loose ends... the rest of the series isn't even about these characters... the main character has very little character growth and talks about an ex lover 2x in like one chapter but it's SO repetitive that I almost thought I read the same paragraph twice...
Spoilers:
She finds a ring that seems important but is never mentioned again
There's a crow that seems important but never goes anywhere
There's talk of a shadow man that's never mentioned again
The king wears a collar??
Why is the housekeeper more powerful than the demon kings??
She's a witch with powers that showed up or if no where with no explanation about it other than she probably has a green thumb....
Like I was so down to read the next book until I realized I wouldn't get ANY answers

Yes it's open door, but a I was reading I really was thinking the author must be a virgin. Scared to say words that are basic to sex scenes in books. Repetitive wording as well.
The only thing I have to say positive really is that it was cute, the side characters were fun, and I did hope to read the next book for answers until I realized this was a standalone bringing me from giving it 3 or 4 stars down to 1.

So good
I absolutely adored this book, I was scrolling through tiktok and came across a post for this series and thought why not and I'm so glad i did. You have a curvy girl who loves to grow things, a demon king who is lonely. A devastating event sent our FMC to the demon kings castle. She finds herself making friends with a vampire and a healer she was given 3 rules by the master of the house and for good reason. The FMC bumps into the king and breaks rule number 1 on her first day but no one sees. They start meeting in secret and things get spicy. Yall need to go check this series out to find out what happens next

I have finally gotten around to reading book 1 of this series. Having started in the middle of the series, I've read books 3 through 6 and plan to read book 2 next! That aside, reading this books was wonderful! I loved getting to see the love story of characters that I only knew from the later books when the relationship was already established. The love story was great, with ups and down that really made the story flow and become addictive fast! Would definitely recommend!

It was cute. It felt a bit like a rom-com with with some kick.
I always like the trope of someone carving out their place in the world. It just feels so satisfying. This goes right along with found-family.
Also, yes sir, Mr. Dragon king. Sweet on the inside and hard on the outside. I'll take 2.

Had potential to be a good read. However, the plot had way too many holes, and the book was rushed entirely. It's good if you want a quick dirty read, but if you want a well written novel, this isn't the one for you.

Was spice in this book but not much of a story line. Why talk about her having magics but nothing comes of it. It you like Desmond smut it’s fine but don’t expect a lot of plot.

Cute Story
Cute story, but I thought it felt rushed and could have had more character and world development. I also didn’t like how every 5 minutes the main character talked about how she couldn’t lose weight and it was this big “failing” of hers.

Slow Burn into passion
The slow starts always keep me on edge of what I think should be expecting however it was incredibly wholesome and had more softness than I could have expected. I enjoyed it 🙂

Why mention a ring if you aren't ever going to say what it is for? Why bring in the crow?
Overall it wouldn't be a bad story if the author actually explained things.
