A comtempary romance with danger, gangs, corrupt FBI and law enforcement. Add in a fired honest FBI agent and a retired veteran that shoot off fireworks in the same area together. A fun steamy story with a lot of action.

Great spicy summer read. It's a great mix of mystery, suspense, romance, and pure heat. The chemistry between Maya and Cade was so hot that it was hard to put down, and I love the development of a few of the other characters and their interactions. It was a quick, fun read that I hated to see end.

Maya is running for her life after being fired from the FBI after being accused of working for who she was investigating, Baron. She had turned in her information, but what she had done was make a copy of everything. Baron's goons are trying to find so Baron can destroy her. Now to find a job, be paid in cash and save enough to be able to leave the country. The guy, Bill, is older and he offered to drive her to Creekside. He wants to help; and his boss hires staff and provides room and board until the new hires can get their own place. The boss is Cade and Maya gets a feeling that things are not as open as they seem. Who is Cade and what is he hiding? He lives in the big house behind the Oasis, his bar which makes her think of LA bars. Cade has rules that the staff are required to obey. Cade and Maya seem have a sizzle between them. Cade has no interest in flirting with the female staff, but he seems to watch Maya. She is too nosy. Will something happen between them? What secrets is Cade hiding?.

Maya suffered a lot for her job. Being an FBI Agent can be detrimental to one’s soul. Going’s undercover, seeing things and living them are a horror. What is more horrendous is the lacking in the system.

Cade, once a rebellious teenager, falling with the wrong gang thought he had left it all behind . His saving grace being his older brother. A brother who he loved and lost a few years later but why? Did he die in the line of duty? Or was there some sinister plan to eliminate him? Did it all stem back to Cade??

We followed horrendous crimes of sex/drug trafficking . Trafficking of human organs. Underground fight club. Government relations and yes, death.

So I wasn’t going to record this book because it was a silly little kindle unlimited read and most of the time I keep those a secret. BUT this one was so aggressively horrible I felt it needed a proper review. And I’m in a silly goofy mood.

First I gotta say um these reviews?….are you guys okay? I hated this book so much that I’m actually getting weak at the people who gave this a good rating and took the time to write a good review. There is just absolutely no way 😂 There were MULTIPLE times while reading this book that I physically cringed. Literally eww. Writing style was horrible. Characters and plot made absolutely zero sense. Everyone who rated this above 3 stars needs to go touch grass I fear. I should be embarrassed that people know I read this but if means I can spare someone in the future from picking this up it was all worth it. Also this is not even close to enemies to lovers like even a little bit. Not even haters to lovers.

This book had many things going for it. Both of the main characters were likable but had enough issues to make them realistic. The side characters were great and I'm hoping at least two of them will get their own stories later on. Maya is on the run after being fired from her job in the FBI. While on the run she meets Bill a gentle, older man who takes her to his place of employment and convinces his boss to give her a job. The attraction between the two is instant but of course they fight it. The book is a suspenseful story of ups and downs while we follow Maya's story unraveling and Cade coming to terms with his past. Trust me when I say that when Cade and Maya finally give in its hot. The ending was so cute! A great lighthearted way to end the story. I will defiantly be reading Gianna Evers again. Off-Limits Bad Boy Boss was a fast paced, enjoyable steamy read. 18 and over please!.

I knew it was going to be GREAT to read, but D*MN. I was not prepared for this... We're talking CRAZY, INSANE levels of SUSPENSE, PASSION and HEAT here. There is no way this book is just a 5-star read it is a 20/20 if I could give it to Gianna. The cover as well as the description of Cade is super-hot and that is putting it mildly. Bill is an older man that helps Maya with finding a job and housing with Cade. Cade has a dark past and Maya is running from her past. So, TRUST me 110% when I tell you that this book cannot wait to be read it needs your undivided attention RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE. Just fair warning that if you stop reading it you might just dream about Cade and Maya. I sure did. The suspense alone will drive you crazy. This is going to be a BEST SELLER.

Cade & Maya: triggers- gang violence, underground fighting, corrupt law enforcement, military. This was a nice surprise, I wasn't expecting it to be as dramatic as it was but I really enjoyed it. Maya is former FBI on the run after an undercover job went wrong. She ends up in a small town and finds work at a bar/restaurant owned by Cade. Cade is former military, he moved to town after his brother was K.I.A.. Now he's got a new employee that he can't stop thinking about but she's hiding something and running from something and he will do anything to protect her. This book is drama from beginning to end but it's also spicy. These two characters burn up the sheets while trying to learn how to trust each other. It was really good.

This book is intense! Maya is running for her life after being fired from the FBI after posing a threat. She connects with Cade who has his own set of issues. He is determined to protect her and the connection between them is off the chain! This story had me all caught up in it and I couldn't put it down. The characters are dynamic and takes this story into the stratosphere. It is brilliantly well written, and I felt like I was right there as this story unfolds.

It was a meh book at best and I feel terrible saying that, the romance was way too quickly developed with no real reasoning other than you’re hot and you think I’m hot. Maya’s background was not fully developed as best as it should’ve been, Cade’s backstory made no sense other than convenance of it being related to Maya’s. Not a fan of the book and I feel terrible saying that.

The chemistry… WOW! After I started this book it took me the first two chapter I would say to get hooked but when I did it was hard to put down. I just had to know what happened next and watch Cade and Amaya build their relationship. The connection between the two of them that they didn’t even know about. Absolutely loved this and the ending.

Such a beautiful love story of how two broken hearts become one and how the tragedy they shared somehow overlapped until the whole truth was revealed. Love does have a way of conquering all. But so does friendship, redemption, discovery that your voided life can be fulled with love if you allow the hurt and pain to decrease and unconditional love to increase.

This storyline between Cade and Maya had it all. Starting with enemies to lovers to forbidden romance. This book had me on the edge of my seat from suspense, drama, grief, spice, love and romance. I loved how the characters grew in this book. I highly recommend this book.
