Packed Up In Vegas

Rate this book
When the odds are stacked against you, you fold… or you go all in.

Waking up to no car, no money, and no fiancé wasn’t my ideal end to a Vegas vacation, but fate had plans for me as my world came crashing down.

Now I had two accept the hand I’d been dealt…or do something I never thought I was capable of, because I’d been offered a wild, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity only the most desperate would consider.

One heat.

Three days.

And a live audience.

If I let three gorgeous alphas take care of me, I could walk away with enough money to start a new life, freeing me of the past I longed to forget.

So, when I took the risk and said yes, I didn’t believe anything else could go wrong—until the contract was signed and the audience was waiting.

That was when I realized the three alphas about to claim me were my fated mates.

Will the chaos of Sin City ruin Callie and her mates’ chances at a happily ever after, or will they find themselves Packed Up in Vegas?

Packed Up In Vegas is a part of the Sin City Omegas Universe.

Look, this was just not for me. I LOVE a good omegaverse but the writing was dull, Callie was TSTL and the whole "every guy is obsessed with her" thing and lack of a plot killed it for me. The smut was ok / good but everything else was blah IMO.

PLOT:
Callie is broke. Her crappy fiance maxes out her cards and abandons her in Vegas with no way to get home. Distraught, Callie goes to a coffee house and meets an alpha with a proposition for her - let him induce her heat and let herself be taken by a bunch of alphas in front of a live audience and receive a crazy payday. She agrees and ends up with a bunch of mates.

THOUGHTS:

- Callie is dumb. TSTL. Is that harsh? Kinda but hear me out. She's been with her crappy ex for like 8 years, he's constantly been shitty to her yet she's still surprised when he literally dumps her for someone else. He's maxed out her cards and left her with nothing but she goes for a coffee (without money mind you) and is literally only saved bc an alpha was behind her and pays for her. That same dude, an alpha she does not know offers her a sex job and she takes it with basically no questions asked just so she doesn't have to call her family and deal with the "I told you so's". Once they get busy and things get serious she's constantly whiny, runs away and just generally acts stupid AF. She comes across as a whiny, needs to be coddled mess.

- the alphas kind of suck too. They're literally all sex workers and didn't want to be bonded to a mate but now it's too late. After one of them is bitten by her / bites her back they basically have to keep babying her / keeping her happy so she doesn't realize she could totally sue their asses and that they used an untested heat starter on her.

- lastly, the guys are.... Fine but I didn't get the relationship. Half of them barely get along with her and the other half are bonded and paired so super obsessed with her. We barely get to see personality or getting to know each other, just some smut and that whole legal thing. The plot felt meandering and I didn't feel that connection or payoff for some of the guys, miles especially.

DNF - 40%
I think I need to switch away from a/b/o for a while because they're all reading exactly the same. Slightly different plots. Same alphas with different names. Even sentences are repeats of ones I've read in other books. It's not exciting anymore so I'm going to take a break and hopefully come back not so cynical.

Callie is TSTL and I can't go any further.

I really wish I didn’t have a compulsion to finish books. It takes a lot for me to DNF a book and this one totally deserved it. The writing style was so basic and repetitive with overly explained mundane details. The FMC was just dumb. There’s a difference between trauma and stupid. She was stupid. She totally ignores that she has a car out there in her name - just rolls over and doesn’t even try to take it back on her own. Just gets dickmatized and ignores her life. Your ex is a vile POS and you still give the wrong account # for 100 THOUSAND dollars?! Whatever. Plus, the breeding/baby conversation was sooooo out of the blue and ridiculous. Like literally one minute she’s not sure if she can even stay with them but the next she’s agreeing to have a child with them. And Amir, of all people, is the one to suggest it?!?! WTF. He doesn’t want to bond her but he’ll breed her. He basically wanted to exploit something so monumental for monetary gain and she’s like sign me up. But, yet, she’s concerned Kai has too much legal power because he got her car back. Make it make sense. Negotiations with the company’s bosses was beyond ignorant. They run an illegal/shady operation, using illegal drugs, where an omega was bonded without consent. Contracts issued by illegal businesses are not legit. Yet, the pack has to offer up concessions to get out of their contracts. Get out of here with that BS. You walk in, say FU and bounce. It just wasn’t believable - maybe if they had enforcers threatening physical harm but that wasn’t the case here. The “spice” was drawn out and boring - I ended up skipping through most of it. This book really had no plot that held water. 2 stars is super generous.

This was alright. Pretty insta-love even though there was a lot of plot.

I wish there was a little more relationship/regular life building between Callie and the guys but there wasn't enough room in the story because of all the smut. Don't get me wrong I love smut, but because a lot of the story is them riding out her heats in live sex shows, there wasn't much else. Except the crap her ex did to her and its resolution. I think she got like one date with three of the alphas and then all sex shows.

So, when they first started swapping "I love yous" it seemed to come out of nowhere. Now that's not to say that I didn't like the guys and feel they were genuine because I did. I also think the author did try to make each of the Hs distinct and separate but a couple kinda hung in the background for the last half of the book.

I do feel, to be fair, I need to say that I really don't like heavy sex work in books. I don't judge about it, it's just that I personally didn't like that they had been escorts for 4-5 years, They kept making comments about how they knew what to do and had so much experience. It's just not my thing. It's not quite one of my pet peeves but it irritates me a little.

Anyway, I am going to give another one of the books in this series a try because I don't think it deals with sex work and would get my feelings about that out of the way. Then I can get more of a feel for this new author.

So, I'm rounding up to give the author the benefit of the doubt. You might say that I'm a little bit sensitive, but there are two MMCs in this, both seem to be different ethnicities as their names are Diego and Amir. We get this:
"Two alphas emerged from the kitchenette area, looking oddly twin-like with their dark hair and eyes, beautifully bronze skin, and athletic forms. The easiest differentiation I could make with a two-second glance was that one had floppy curls and the other’s hair was cut short on the sides"

At the least, this is rude. Overall, I didnt love or hate this one. Giving a neutral 3 stars.

DNF @ 58%

I liked the beginning of this book, which was basically the FMC meeting the 4 MMCs and everyone being horny, but as the story went on I wanted more relationship development. The story also started to drag a little — I’m usually all for a smutty read, but I guess today I needed more plot!

Packed up in Vegas is a RH/ why choose omegaverse book. Upong finding herself virtually stranded and alone with no money in Vegas when her fiancee leaves her, the fmc is given the opportunity of a lifetime to make more than enough money to get her life back on track. How's that? Go through her forst heat in front of a love audience. The unexpected happens when the alphas she will be going thru it with turn out to be her scent matches. Add in an accidental bonding while on stage and a whole lot of panic. This is the first I have read by this author but won't be the last. I gave it four stars because while I do recognize that it is merely a plot my first instict was hello stranger danger, did no one tell her this is how bad things can happen? Other than that I enjoyed it

Way to much smut. I like the plot but at some point is like, come on dialed down a little (or a lot). But still entertaining.

But please next book less repetitive smut and more plot. At least 50-50% .. because this one was like 98.5 - 1..5% plot.

Thank you to Lexie Quinn for providing me with an arc.

When I saw the trope map and blurb for this book I knew I had to get my hands on it. An omegaverse where the omega has to sell off her heat and happens to end up doing her heat publicly with her scent matches was everything I didn’t know I needed. I read this one at a great time and it was so much fun. I loved how well the author managed to balance both the slow build you want in a relationship as well as the fact they are scent matches which will tend to speed some of that up. I adored all of the characters and I am very excited to see what is next for this world and author.

Callie never expected to wake up to no car, no money, and be abandoned by her fiancé in Vegas and for him to marry some random other girl. But fate had other plans and now she has to figure out what she can do with the hand she has been dealt. So when she runs into this hot alpha at a coffee shop who offers her a once in a lifetime experience that will set her up for a new life, she says fuck it and accepts. One heat for three days in front of a live audience and she will be set up for her new life but she never expects the alpha’s who would be taking care of her to be her scent matches.

Callie gets fucked over and has to completely change gears when her fiancé abandons her and takes everything but she gets lucky and meets an alpha who is willing to help. Little do they both know that his pack who would help her with the heat would be her scent matches. I adored all of the pack and I loved how each of their relationships really stood individually as well as a whole pack. They all really felt like they went at their own pace because there was so many outside factors to deal with. I love how they all wanted to take care of her even when sometimes they weren’t sure how this would work long term but were willing to figure it out. I loved Kai and Diego who fell the hardest and fastest. I adored Miles who struggled I think the most because he felt guilty that he in a way trapped Callie with them by offering her this plan but he comes around and is a sweetheart in his own way in his own time. Amir is the grumpiest of the four and I love him and how he did take a while to come around to this being his future and I loved seeing him open up. He has a lot of reasoning behind why he acts how he does and I adored seeing him and Callie slowly grow their relationship.

Overall this was a great debut and I can’t wait to see what Lexie writes next as I had such a fun time.

This was such a good book! I love the dynamic of an omega with some trauma or a past that hurt her, and this one had that while not being too extreme. The way the FMC met her pack was great, and I loved the love shows aspect of it. It was very different from what I’ve read before and I really enjoyed it.

I love each of the alphas. They each had their own journey to go on in building a relationship with their omega. It had all the insta-love of scent-matching, but with strong relationship development and gradual growth of emotions for some of them. It had some more reluctant alphas, for various reasons, and some fully-onboard alphas to provide connection and reassurance to their omega.

This was almost a five star read for me. I felt like there were a few phrases or words that were overused. Otherwise, the main thing missing for me was any interaction with any of their families. There were just hints about hers, but not much, and nothing for the guys. It would have been nice if at least 1 of them had a family worth engaging with, even though it’s difficult given the work they do.

Highly recommend!

Absolutely ATE UP this spicy as heck omegaverse read!

Always satisfying when the main makes their way AWAY from a crap storm relationship but the fact that it pushes Callie right into the strong and sexy hands of the pack is best case scenario.

I mean, get paid a ridiculous amount to be swallowed up and doted on by hot men? Okay. I can handle a little… or a lot of… exhibitionism. Sign me up!

Each of the men was absolutely perfect in their own unique and yummy ways and their separate connections to (omega) Callie was a meal itself!

I’m so happy with this story line… with all of the men.. with the ending and with an epilogue to leave the reader sated. Loved this!

Loved it!
I think the storyline was original and kept my attention from beginning to end.
It was filled with drama, humor, lots of spice, and more.

I really liked Callie. It was good to see her growth by the end and realize she deserved more.
I loved each of her alphas as well.
The relationships seem to develop naturally and each at their own pace.

Overall, I think it was a sweet read.
There was the perfect balance of steam, plot, and finishing with a HEA!!

Decent storyline

I absolutely loved the first 50 percent, but it did drag a bit after that hense the 4 stars. It's still well written with all the typical omegaverse bits and pieces attached. Not every character had an instant love moment, which added to the development and the story, which kept it interesting. Will definitely read the rest of the series.

(Received as an ARC for my honest review)

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶

This omegaverse book was quite different than most I've read before, and I really enjoyed how much I loved it. I didn't know how I'd feel when I saw that it was going to be a public heat as a private show in Vegas, but the author wrote it very well. I didn't get that distasteful feeling I thought I would because the author almost made you feel that there wasn't an audience by bringing them up very rarely. It made you feel that it was really in the moment.

Tropes:
💙 Omegaverse
🎬 Exhibitionism
💙 Accidental Bonding
🎬 Scent Matching
💙 Knots/Heat/Nesting
🎬 Hurt/Comfort
💙 Why Choose
🎬 Very Spicy
💙 Pack of Vegas S3x Workers
🎬 Live Schmexy Shows
💙 Protective Alpha Pack
🎬 Damsel in Distress

This story went pretty much backward when it came to courting their scent match. There was so much up in the air after the bonding. Even though this pack knew Callie was their scent match, it didn't mean they all wanted her. Even if they couldn't be without her. Not without breaking up the pack.

Callie is going through so much throughout this book. It starts with her being left in Las Vegas by her fiance a beta. He left her with nothing but her suit case and phone. No money or car. I did wish Callie was a little stronger when it came to her beta ex fiancé. He did steal her car and leave her. The guys were excellent when it came to handling the ex. I just wish Callie would have made him pay for what he did in certain things.

She meets Miles in a coffee shop, and he offers her the job of having her heat on stage in front of wealthy people in a private show. Not left with much other choice, she decides to do it. She needs the money to start over. Miles does in form her that is with his pack (minus him).

I do wish that there was more of a story between Callie and Miles. You got to see them bond so well before the show, and I fell in love with Mile's personality during that time. But after the show, when she went home with them, Mile's became a different person, it would seem. He stayed away from Callie the most, and they didn't get together until towards the end. I wanted more from them two. Especially since they hit it off so well near the beginning. I wanted more from these two.

I loved that we got to know each and every pack member. You get to see the struggles they go through before and after meeting Callie. Amir was one of my favorites. He didn't want a mate and never wanted fate as an option. He hated his choices being taken away. Or so it seems in his mind. Once you got to know him, you understood his reason. He may not have wanted Callie, but he couldn't walk away from her either. Buying her gifts and things she needed, then acted like it was nothing and walk away. He tried to fight the scent match, but once these two came together... fireworks flew. I'm glad these two worked out out. I was worried about them the most.

You got to see how the accidental bonding and how it worked between her and Kai. What he felt through the bond when she was struggling. Or how he would try to calm her through it. He panic became his. How they couldn't be apart for long and mellowed each other out. They couldn't live without each other, and both knew it. Kai was such a sweetheart and was willing to leave his own pack if she didn't choose them.

Diego was such a conundrum. He wanted Callie, and from day 1 at their house, you saw this. He was right there with Kai and Callie. He wouldn't leave her side and wanted her. Letting her take over his room as the nest until they fixed hers up. He didn't want to sleep without her. Then you get his degrading mouth during spicy times 🔥🥵 I loved her was team Callie from the beginning.

If you love OV books, then you'll love this one. I ate this book up. It was a little long, but it flies by because I couldn't put it down. The Knotty times were the easy part in this book. It was everything else that was the struggle. The spice was excellent and was very hot throughout this book. The ruts on stage were hot, too. This whole book was hot. I will definitely be adding this one to my bookshelves.

2.5 stars. I think this will be a love it or hate it read for most people. I was tempted to give it 3 stars because it kept me entertained, but ultimately nothing happened in this book by the end.

❗ SPOILERS ❗

What I didn't like:

1. The FMC. She's whiny and has to be handled with kid gloves half the time. She's also very naive and not only trusted some stranger randomly recruiting her for sex work in a cafe, but then stupidly used her joint bank account as the deposit account for the hundred K she got from it. The same joint account that her asshole ex had just cleaned out when he left her high and dry that same day. I'm sure you can guess what happened with that.

2. The relationships. They're sex workers and don't want to give up their lifestyle, but the accidental bonding means that they either have to give it up or leave the pack. Some reviews mentioned them feeling resentment towards her, and there is a little of that, but not as much as I expected from reading the reviews. The main issue is that they might lose their house and all their money because they can't fulfill their contracts and have to buy their way out of them for exorbitant prices. Totally understandable struggle when they weren't expecting it.

But there is one alpha who really doesn't want a bond, despite being into the FMC, and he's a bit of a jerk about it. He even tries to go to his favorite FWB for a night even knowing the FMC is his scent match and is living with him (smh) but can't do it. He finally gives in and bonds with the FMC, but even in the way he offered it to her (“This pack is my family, I’m closer to them than any blood, and I’ve realized that there’s no pack without you"), it very much felt like he only did it so that he wouldn't lose his pack. He later says that he loves her, but it feels like too little too late to me.

The other three range in connection with her from there. One holds back for most of the book because he feels guilty and a little undeserving, one is interested in bonding very soon after they get to know each other, and the one she bonded with is all-in from the moment they bond.

3. Their changeup for the second heat. When they realize she's their mate just before the first heat, they're immediately not wanting to do the show. They don't want the public seeing her that way, and it takes a lot of convincing to get them to go through with it. And the whole time they're constantly thinking about how countless people are seeing their mate that way. One is into voyeurism and it turns him on, but the others are uncomfortable with it.

But when the second heat comes around and they realize they need to do it to be able to buy out their contracts, they have no issues with it anymore. In fact, they open up their new business filming live heats in the same way, and even do a few more of their pack. I have no problem with that being the storyline except that they themselves were so uncomfortable with it and it was never addressed after the first heat.

What I liked:

Their profession. I enjoy books with sex workers, escorts, strippers, cam girls/boys, etc. This setup for paid live heats is so omegaverse it was interesting. A rotating platform, a live audience and a streamed audience. Definitely want to read more in this series if this is the setup.

They were sweet to her. Despite not expecting her, they all immediately cared for her and helped her get her life in order. Even the one who was reluctant to have a mate.

I tried... this is a hard one to rate honestly. I liked the book but I didn't love it. And let me say, sex work is work but I don't necessarily want to read about every love interest being a sex worker. Just not my cup of tea. Especially when the Alphas have f*cked their way through Vegas and then some and the FMC has almost zero experience.

The FMC is hard to connect with. Callie (omega) is in Vegas with her fiancée (beta) who basically abuses and uses her. She works. He doesn't. Verbally, mentally, you name it. He hates that she's a omega so she's on harsh suppressants. And she's put up with this for EIGHT years. He cheats on her, steals her credit cards, steals her car and marries someone else in one night then abandons her the next morning with literally nothing but her suitcase. She goes to a coffee house and after having a meltdown because she can't pay (duh) gets offered "crazy" money to sleep with strange Alphas on stage with an illegally induced heat. It's so abrupt and not very believable. She's also whiny and seriously dumb. Like the car, apartment and bank accounts are in HER name but she allows her ex to steal her car, steal her money from her bank account and move in his new wife and does nothing about it until later when the Alphas sort of force her.

She meets the Alphas and gets her heat induced (she's never been with an Alpha) while they've been with "hundreds" of Omegas. Lo and behold they're her scent match and honestly? They all don't really want to be. They're a bit resentful.

The Alphas are just okay. One instantly loves her due to the bond, one is intrigued with her and wants her too. One avoids her and is wracked with guilt so is barely part of the harem and the other resents her and wants to keep f*cking anything that moves. In fact, he tries to meet up with a current Omega f*ck buddy and can't perform. I didn't really feel a connection between most of them. We barely get to see personality or getting to know each other, just some smut and that whole legal thing.

There's drama in the fact that somehow despite being paid thousands of dollars each to literally ahem "perform on stage" for YEARS they all have no money and might lose their house if they can't keep doing stage shows but now they can't cheat on their Omega so conundrum! They accuse Callie of lying about not getting paid by the company after the heat, but turns out she's so stupid she put the money in her joint account for her ex to clean out. Again. Then she says they're all just like her ex and almost leaves them. Uhhhh so she has a backbone about that but not to her ex for 8 years? They're also being blackmailed by their bosses to finish out their contracts... it was all just kind of like... mmmmk.

Lots of spice and smut. The author definitely didn't lack on the sexy parts but makes sense because that's what they're literally paid to do.

They decide to do another show to buy out their contracts then literally just go into business for themselves doing more sex shows even when she becomes pregnant. Yawn.

Entertaining? Yes. Sexy? Absolutely. Plot? Not really. A storyline? Barely. Lovable characters? Meh.

I went into reading this book based off the cover and not really knowing much about it, and I was not disappointed.  I love a good omegaverse and this book has so much in it, that will keep you turning those pages over and over again and will have you wanting more.

If you love:

❤️ Omegaverse
💜Reverse Harem
🖤Voyeurism
❤️S@x shows
💜Alpha males
🖤Friends to lovers
❤️Heats, knots and nesting;
💜And so much more

Then honestly dive into this book.
The book introduces us to Callie who is an omega in need, her fiancé has left her in sin city with no car, no money, nothing, just a message to say oops sorry Ive now married someone else.

Callie has nowhere to turn then an alpha who sees an omega in crisis gives her an opportunity to earn some cash quick, all she has to do is be the Omega on a live s@x show, during her next heat with just some hot alphas.  When in Sin City all you can do is let the dice roll and lead your way.

So what can go wrong, just being thrust into the world of hot alphas who turn out to be your scent match, but how can a show start when there is so much going on.  As the saying goes “the show must go on” and contracts are in place so these group have nothing else to do but get down to business and ease Callie’s fears away.  Once the heat is over they can address everything else that is going on.

This book from near enough the get go is full on spice and everything nice, but that isn’t all that is going on, we have entwined the story of an omega that has been left with nothing, a readily formed pack that weren’t looking for an omega, and now a scent match between Callie and the men.  Lexi Quinn has brough us so much in this book, with the dynamics of a readily formed pack, with some members finding it hard to accept that they have a fated mate, to watching them each fall over time for their omega and when they fall do they fall.  This was a beautiful story watching how they developed as a whole and each male brought a different dynamic to the story as well.
This book has the insta-love, the spice and heat that rolls off the pages, the fun aspect, the gruffness of an alpha fighting his feelings, and the sweetness of those that fall.

If you love omegaverse then this is a must read I cant wait to see what else Lexi Quinn brings us next.

This book was kind of basic and a bit boring. I almost dnf it and regret not doing so. It was honestly a useless story.

1. I didn't care much about any of the characters. Callie was stupid and annoying and I couldn't tell the difference between the men. I also didn't feel any chemistry between Callie and the men.

2. It was kind of odd that the men were still thinking of keeping their jobs even though they found their mate and one of them had bonded with her.

3. I was not okay with Amir seeking out his female f*** buddy just because he was in denial and didn't want to fall victim of having a fated mate. Callie was way too nonchalant about it, too.

4a. I didn't like Callie's behavior during the money incident. Instead of talking it out like mature adults, she basically threw a temper tantrum, cussed them out, flip them the bird, and berated them for not trusting her and "ganging up" on her. It's not their fault she was such an idiot. She should've known better and should've open a completely new account especially when she was receiving such a large amount of money. And then she later on admited that it was her fault but proceeded to say that any person would've had the decency to tell her if they used her money. Girl! You're talking about the man who cheated on you, married someone else, abandoned you in a different city, stole your car, and locked you out of your home? I can't smh.

4b. Callie also gave this bs enlightened speech about how she finally grew a backbone and wasn't going to let people walk all over her. The only problem about this was that she was took it out on the men who actually cared about her. I felt like she was super unappreciative about them. They literally gave her a new life.

5. Up until 80% of the book, no one other than Kai had bonded with Callie yet. The bonds with the rest of the guys were rushed and very anti-climatic.

6. I felt bad for Kai. He was Callie's first bond but ended up not being the first father. Not only was he the last father but he waited 5 years! That's crazy. And the moment should've been monumental but it felt like a quick fact note.

I’m currently at 90% of the way into the book, and here’s where we stand:

1. Callie is insufferable. She is painfully whiny and stupid. I cannot believe the whole money drama and how she handled the guys afterward.

2. Kai is great. He’s been bonded to her for almost the entire book and is a rock for Callie, even though that stupid girl somehow thinks he oversteps by using his legal powers as her bonded alpha to get her car back from her piece of garbage ex.

3. Diego is also fantastic, and the poor guy has been wanting to bond with Callie for the majority of the book but has had to wait for the heat she’s about to enter.

4. Amir is obnoxious - he is still adamantly opposed to bonding with Callie but will happily hook up with her and admittedly does some thoughtful things for her. But how are we this far into the book and he still doesn’t even want to be bonded with her?

5. Miles… probably the biggest disappointment in my opinion. He was so wonderful when they met in the coffee shop, and then somehow spends the rest of the book being distant from Callie and anxious about things that have little to no bearing on the plot. He literally just had his first kiss and intimacy with her a few pages ago.

So in light of all of that… where is the incredibly unbalanced pack right now? Oh, that’s right, they’ve decided they should try to get Callie pregnant during her heat. None of this makes any sense. The pacing is so uneven for the guys and their relationships with Callie, and I’m offended on behalf of a fictional child that they feel it’s appropriate to conceive right now.

Let’s see what happens in this last 10% and if I change my mind about anything 😂

Update: Well, I finished it. The epilogue was sweet. The heat and show were okay… the spice was good, but I was too frustrated with the characters to really care about it. And Amir sucked. His reason for bonding her was basically just because he didn’t want to lose the pack and then he forced himself to say he loved her. Be still my heart. 🙄

Packed up in Vegas

Okay, at first, I was questioning if I'd be able to finish this book bc the fmc is just so, how to put it lightly? She's a doormat. She really, really annoyed me. Like, girl fight for yourself, ffs... Her ex literally uses her for 8 years, treats her like crap, is verbally abusive, finacially abusive, and just a plain POS. While vacationing in Vegas, her fiancé Jerry steals all her money out of their joint account (he doesn't work), steals her car, and leaves her stranded in Vegas with nothing, he then calls her up to tell her he married someone else while there and proceeds to dump her over the phone. She doesn't do anything about it, just cries. Along comes an alpha named Miles and offers her an opportunity to make 100k by performing a live s** show during a heat for 3 days. After some thought, she accepts. Where she mets the rest of Miles' pack; Kai, Amir, and Diego. After revealing as scent matches a few bumps during that heat, tie her to the pack for life whether she wanted to accept them or not. Oops, lol.
After the heat, she realizes the money isn't in her account. Low and behold, she gave Miles the wrong account number, and everything went into her joint account, so you can guess what Jerry did... yup! He robbed her naive a&& again. Like id a been calling the banks THAT DAY to remove him from everything.... 🤦🏼‍♀️
Now she just cries about it, but her guys, well.... they aren't so lighthearted about it. The guys really are what made me continue reading, and I am glad that I did. I would have liked to see more character development with the fmc, but I did love the character development between love interests. It was a good read and had a nice fluffy ending. And Jerry and the new wife get there comeuppance too. Thankfully. So I do recommend, if you can push through the fact the fmc is abit on the weak naive side and a doormat, it's. A good book. And the spice🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵, the spice won't disappoint at all....

I'm kind of obsessed with omegaverses and if it's a why-choose/rh then I'm a goner. Lexie Quinn is now added to the omegaverses authors that I absolutely love, she's won me over. Packed Up In Vegas was freaking awesome!

Callie and her pack were great, I adored them. Callie was the sweetest but didn't have the best people in her life. I couldn't help but feel for her. When she finally started to learn that life could be better and that she deserved to be treated with a basic level of human decency, it was a really good moment.

I loved that the pack was there to support her from the beginning. All the guys were sweet even if Amir was a stubborn pain in my... They were a good bunch, I love how they made Callie the priority and that she was taken care of. Kai was my favorite, he was so sweet and things felt smoother with him than with the others. There was only a little light angst in this book.

Oh, the story was so good, instalove, forced proximity, a nasty ex, and all the good stuff that comes with omegaverses only it felt a little more intense. Lexie is a first for me. This is the first omegaverse that I've read that centers on sex workers in this capacity. A heat that takes place in front of an audience is a whole new ballgame. It adds a certain naughty element to the story. I think stories about sex workers can be over the top, a little in your face but Lexie has done an exceptional job. But don't let that fool you because this story set my eReader on fire. It was so good.

Packed Up In Vegas was a lot of fun. Lexie has me hooked now, I can't wait for the next book, good thing it's coming soon.

You Know What They Say About Vegas 😉

Whewww boy…talk about bad timing 😂 You find yourself surrounded by a whirlwind of bad luck, but an opportunity for LOTS of money falls in your lap. All you have to do is have your heat in front of a live audience (definitely one way to get over your thieving ex-fiancée who put you in this situation to begin with 😠), but then your SCENT MATCHES show up as the alphas who’re gonna be helping you through that public heat….ummmm, awkward 🫣👀😝 Of course it all happens in Vegas, cause I mean it’s Vegas, so why not 😂 Although since Callie, our FMC, finds herself faced with such amazing men, what happens in Vegas may not stay in Vegas this time (my kind of souvenir 😝) 😂😂😂 This was such an amazing story, with wonderful characters, a storyline that kept things entertaining the whole way through, and enough heat to make Vegas proud 😉🔥 I loved the progression of Callie’s relationships with the whole pack almost as much as her individual relationships with each of the guys, and the story was packed with so many swoon worthy moments, as well as PLENTY of parts that screamed “I-need-a-cold-shower-NOW” 🥵🤯😈 I read so many omegaverse stories, and this had such an original storyline that did an absolutely fantastic job at balancing major steam with plot & character development. I could literally read this story once a week and not get tired of it, cause it was just that good. Definitely one of my favorite omegaverse reads of this year 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

𝙼𝚢 𝚃𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜:
I recently read 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑼𝒑 𝑰𝒏 𝑽𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒔, my first novel by Lexie Quinn, and I can't wait to read more by this author! This omegaverse romance was truly unique and packed with drama and romance that kept me hooked until the end. Callie and her Alphas captured my heart; their relationships felt realistic and natural as they developed. I appreciated getting to know each pack member and learning about their backstories, which gave me a deeper understanding of the characters. Watching them grow closer despite their challenges was delightful. The chemistry between Callie and the Alphas was sizzling, especially with the exhibitionism of the heats and knotty claiming ruts, which added an extra zing to the spicy story. This book delivered the instant attraction of omegaverse scent matches that I enjoy, and it was both fun and spicy, with a sweet, romantic touch as the characters fell in love. If you're a fan of omegaverse, I highly recommend this book. I'm eagerly looking forward to Lexie Quinn's next work and can't wait to see what she brings us next. Her unique storytelling and engaging characters have left me eagerly waiting for more.

Packed Up In Vegas is book one in the Sin City Omegas universe.
It is a standalone romance.

Callie finds herself an omega in need when she’s abandoned by her feckless fiancé. She’s stuck in Vegas with no cash, no car, and no way to get home. The fates shine on her when she bumps into an alpha with a solution to her problem. She just has to do a little live smex show with a pack of alphas during her next heat. Deciding to roll the dice, Callie agrees.

Things seem to be going well until the scent blockers she and the alphas are using are neutralized. Much to everyone’s surprise, Callie has agreed to ride out her heat with her scent matched mates. Contracts have been signed and money is at stake, so the show must go on.

I loved the pack dynamics in this book. The guys were, even when not agreeing with each other, super protective of their omega. The plot depicted varied reactions to discovering suddenly finding out you have a fated mate which I found to add an interesting and unique layer to the story. The characters were diverse, unique, and each had favorite moments for me. Lexie Quinn is a new must read author.

The way she put blankets and pillows and sheets straight from the package into her nest without washing them first has got me all full-body cringe over here, and I can't get it out of my head.

Also, the bank account thing was so incredibly stupid. People do not mess up that bad about money, even if they are having an emotional breakdown. It instantly went from 3.5/4 stars to 1 star at that point in the story, and I got so enraged that I DNF at 66%. Seemed like the story was hurtling down a path of truly stupid drama, especially because you come to find out that the people the MMCs work for are pieces of shit, which makes me question the alphas' intelligence (all of them supposedly had normal, decently-paying careers and then hated real life so much they became sex workers, which they found incredibly fulfilling, except oops, that's not a long term career for most people and they made no contingency plans and blew all their money on a tiny mansion they can't really afford and it turns out they are just a piece of ass to their pimps bosses, who are trying to coerce them into more sex work against their will and have them involved in shady drug use, and so basically they shot themselves in the foot when it comes to having any sort of leverage or protection against this operation).
