About Time

Rate this book
This novel is more than a coming of age story. Certainly the central plot is a delicate love affair between two students whose attraction is both physical and intellectual.
Yet the theme running through the novel is one of the quest of youth for understanding. More than subjective understanding - an understanding of life and all its secrets. The passions of youth allow the unfolding of new views on knowledge and culture.
The idealism of youth is boundless and the plains of discovery stretch into a vast future. Time appears endless.

This was a good book. It reminded me of college and the situations I was exposed to. I would recommend this book to new students soon embarking on their collegiate careers. It was very touching, philosophically musing, and has a tender place in my heart. I couldn't put the book down once i started.
