A deliciously macabre retelling of a Christmas Carol. When Reginald Crane is visited by his three spirits, they are not as benign as his predecessor's were. Reginald's visitors are far darker than he himself, but still may offer him a way out of his well deserved future. But will he, can he, wholeheartedly take it? This is a delightful read for those who listen for the bumps in the night and revel in the shiver of fear they bring.

Reginald Crane is a man with a dark heart. He likes that people fear him. Hunting people for their debts. Until one fateful night he is visited by 3 spirits past, present and the future. All who had met tragic ends due to Mr Cranes greed.
But can Mr Crane change??

This book was creepy. Gave me Scrooge vibes and very descriptive writing. A short spooky read with 99 pages and is perfect for reading on Christmas eve. Read this in one sitting, had me hooked from the first page.

The characters emotions and heart ache were well written. This book for me was creepy and heartbreaking at the same time. I've read every book by this author and I enjoy their work.

If your looking for a short story with ghosts and scary creatures I would recommend this book. I received an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Reginald Crane is a mean and cruel man and everyone hated him as he goes about collecting debts. One night he has a terrible experience which teaches him to think differently.  A intriguing read. I received this ARC copy via Booksprouts and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.
