Dottie
It's been my sisters and I against the world since before we entered it together 35 years ago. Fraternal quadruplets, my sisters are statuesque, beautiful, and healthy, while I'm short, overweight, and the only carrier of the breast cancer gene. Growing up in the Florida mafia, we took our troubling childhood and used it as the driving force behind Goldman Girls Realty and a life as far removed from our sperm donor as possible.
Now, if only our love lives could be as successful.
After a disastrous date that leaves me frustrated with men and unsatisfied in every sense of the word, I run into a man who changes my entire life during the course of a very pleasurable elevator ride. Am I ready for everything that comes with a man of the Kosher Nostra when I swore I would never be with anyone associated with the mafia? I can fight my own battles, whether the enemy lives within my body or sends his minions to North Carolina to drag me back kicking and screaming, but Ezra, his family, and their friends from New York make it clear they might not be on the right side of the law, but they are on the right side of those they love.
We stand proud, the Goldman Girls and the army of the Kosher Nostra.
Come and get us...we dare you.

Author's Ezra is the fourth book in the Covenant of Ascent; Kosher Nostra series. It includes coarse language, sexual content, crude humor, sarcasm, and the TW listed above. This is not a standalone. Series must be read in order to understand continuing story line, even though each book focuses on a seperate couple with a gauranteed HEA or HFN.

I loved this one just as much as the last book. I can't wait for the next book but I think I need a name chart and whos who. But I loved it and need more. The parents are funny as hell.

Well...you knew this one was going to be interesting due to the first meeting between Dottie and Ezra. It was a bit rocky after that, as it was very no names and then Dottie freaked out when she learned who Ezra was and probably what he did right before their meeting. I found it interesting that Ezra was still interested in Dottie after tracking her down and witnessing her freak out face to face. More interesting was his reaction, to send a gift daily (but only week days for a good reason) and to share things that humanized him.

It seemed like once Dottie made the choice to let him in, it was full steam ahead. Both families pulled in, shared meals, shared hard times and by the end, they were solidified. I really loved the choice that Ezra's parents made, it was good for everyone. I also loved that now Dottie and her siblings have a real family, not the POS that started them.

Dottie had been dating a man and she laid it all out, she knows that having breast cancer was something she concurred and she is proud of what she looks like. The now ex though clearly was only thinking about getting into her pants when she storms off and ends up having a quickie with an absolute stranger.

Ezra can't get the stunning woman out of his head, he finds out who she is and makes his play only to be rejected. Ezra though is not the kind of man to let the woman he believes is the "one" get away. Now he has to charm his way into her life and when Dottie gives him the chance he is never letting go.

The story had some heartbreaking moments as well as full belly laughter times. All the characters are fascinating and I really enjoyed the Goldman Girls, Dottie's sisters who are named after the Golden Girls. I hope there are more books with them in it.

Mirrah McGee’s Ezra is an explosive and deeply emotional addition to the Kosher Nostra series, merging romantic heat with the raw honesty of survival. Through Dottie Goldman a woman fighting both genetic destiny and her own heart McGee crafts a story that’s equal parts sensual, suspenseful, and soul baring.

Set against the gritty backdrop of the Florida mafia and North Carolina’s hidden battles, Ezra explores what it means to find love in a life surrounded by danger. Dottie’s defiance and vulnerability make her unforgettable, while Ezra’s steady strength provides a grounding contrast that elevates the emotional stakes.

McGee writes with sharp wit, fearless passion, and compassion for imperfect people. Beneath the gun smoke and chaos, Ezra is about reclaiming power, choosing love on your own terms, and standing tall even when the world tries to cut you down.

A fierce, unforgettable romance that proves sometimes the strongest hearts beat loudest in the dark.

Oh How I love Ezra and the Goldman girls! I love Dottie and Ezra's story, what started from a disastrous date, led to the love story of Dottie and Ezra. Along the way there are ups, downs, full doses of humor, Sexytime, all the feels and a huge family to back them along the way. Do yourself a favor and grab this book. You will not be disappointed.
Mirrah McGee is one of my favorites, while she may touch on some sensitive subjects it is always done tastefully and in a way that is respectful. Not to mention She has one of the greatest minds for humor. She has a great witt about her. I adore her and her writing.

Great read

This author, brings her life experiences into her books. Without her, I would know nothing about Jewish people or customs. It's a real shame other authors aren't doing this.

I loved the book, the humor, the cancer worries, the info about breast cancer and mastectomies. It was as hoot having 4 women who were named after the Golden girls but that their personalities weren't the same as their namesakes. The elevator scene was sexy, and the story, while emotional at spots, was excellent and filled with laughter as we always expect with this author's books. I enjoyed it immensely.

Dottie and her sisters are a terrific addition to this series! Ezra and his family are a hoot but then you add in their women and the sisters and you got a fantastic series. Ezra and Dottie do not have a conventional meeting but it was an explosive one. I do always happen to learn something new from this author in her books from time to time and this type of breast cancer she talks about I never knew about. It’s a serious subject but this author knows the best way to get through a tough time is your life is to add some humor. Definitely recommend this series you wont be disappointed and just might learn something you never knew.

Another fantastic addition to this series!

4 1/2 stars!

This was a fantastic story that was hilarious, as well as emotionally charged and heartbreaking due to traumatic situations all of the girls have experienced in their lives. Of course, Blanche is nothing but a BAB, and fits in with their new in-laws/family perfectly! Lol! It's a very unique story that you won't want to miss!
Can't wait to read more from this series. I really hope that the rest of the Goldman girls will get a story of their own too!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I absolutely loved Ezra and Dottie.
We get the laughs and smiles that come with all of Mirrah's books that we look forward to.
I really enjoyed this book, I'm glad Dottie and her sisters were cautious of Ezra to start with, and I loved seeing him prove himself to be a decent and loving man.
I also really loved seeing the whole family come together and getting to know the parents.
I can't wait to see what comes next.

What do you get when you cross the Goldman Girls with the Kosher Nostra? A laugh-filled love story with a touch of mayhem! And that's just the Goldman Girls!

Mirrah McGee has mastered the art of combining her wicked sense of humor with a hot love story driven with a, well, a mafia background. Are they hot? Yup. Are they wicked? Oh yeah. Do you need to read this book? What are you waiting for? It's an easy 5-star read for me!

Love someone means loving every part of them

Ezra was going crazy trying to get the one woman he found to be his well to be his. Dottie has had a rough time of it along with her sisters. Ezra learned that loving someone means loving every part of them. This family is amazing and scary at times but oh so protective of these they love. The twins are hysterical and love the names of the sisters.

Ezra and his Golman girl!!!!

Everyone has had a disastrous date like Dotty's but not all of ours ended that nicely! Ezra is everything we're coming to expect from the Kosher Nostra men. He's loving and strong with an edge! I love all the sisters and really hope Blanche becomes part of the family in an official way 🤞

Hot

I loved this book ! it was hot , hilarious, sad in parts. I loved the way the author named the four sisters after the Golden Girls . I love that Ezra fell in love with Dorothy at first sight. Warning though , you really should read the first three books in the series and become familiar with all the characters to make this book even more enjoyable.

Ezra and Dorothy

I love the name that Mirrah came up with for the girls. This story was quite an eye opener 😳 in regards to their sperm donor, definitely not a dad.
The health issue that Dot dealt with and then later more issues, shows that she's a strong and resilient woman.
Ezra was all in and loving her from the beginning.

Highly recommend!!

Never disappoints

I love insta love stories and Mirrah never disappoints. I absolutely adored the 4 sisters the banter between them made me laugh out loud and Dottie gave Ezra a run for his money. It’s great that the mafia aren’t the bad people in the stories.
