Dee is tired of working minimum wage jobs, so she takes a position at DreamTogether, where she'll anonymously carry a monster's baby in exchange for a sizable salary. But when her first client, “Bill” the wolfman, shows her the time of her life, Dee will be changed forever.

Russ has always wanted a cub of his own, but he’s exhausted all possible options except hiring an anonymous surrogate at DreamTogether. While he expects a perfunctory visit breeding a human, he discovers an incredible and delectable woman—and his instincts recognize her as his mate.

But after parting ways, neither of them knows the other besides a fake name. Can Russ find out Dee’s true identity, and convince her that they should raise their cub together?

This steamy, sweet monster romance novel follows one plucky heroine looking for a new life, and a wolfman who desperately wants a cub of his own. It features pregnancy, bonded mating, knotting, obsession, stalking, and cheating, with a heartfelt HEA. For a full list of content warnings, visit the author's website.

Damn, did this scratch a moody reader’s itch! A quick and spicy monster fckr full of breeding, fated mates, pregnancy, good old fashioned stalking, super feral wolf man who is also a cinnamon roll, and an FMC who just wants a connection.

Give me an author who doesn’t give a F what tropes are mainstream and I will read their entire collection.

This book is to the point, raunchy, and ridiculous. I loved every damn minute of it. Read it in one sitting, could not put it down and now I want more.

Oh, and lots of knots :)

DEANNA IS THE WORST. This book was not it.

PLOT:
Deanna is broke and needs cash fast so she signs up for DreamTogether, an agency that gives monsters the chance to have babies - all anonymously to protect privacy. Russ is a wolf man who's always wanted a cub, he signs up for the service, they get down and dirty and he's instantly obsessed.

THOUGHTS:
- I wasn't crazy about Deanna and Russ together and I didn't really get it. Like they hook up twice and her ass is the only thing showing each time. After that he's totally obsessed with and stalks her to try to find out her identity and "protect his cub".

- Cheating. I hated that we had to see Deanna hook up with another guy. Like I get it, it's a business transaction for her but I don't want to see the couple we're supposed to want to end up together, sleep around. Plus it seemed super useless since she didn't enjoy the new guy at all and kinda stayed with him for no reason. She should have just broken up with him when she knew she wanted Russ instead of cheating on him.

- I HATED Deanna. Maybe it's just me but she was selfish, lazy, didn't really hold up her bargain (didn't really take care of the baby even though it's the literal job she signed up for) and is a cheater. Like there's nothing to like?? Also, the whole walking at night thing? Dumb.

SMUT - yeah we all know why most of us are here and it's pretty good but the story and characters just ruin the whole thing .

This was so good! I wasn't sure how I would feel after reading the TC/CW, but I felt like all the relationships, reactions, motivations, and thoughts were well done and made sense for the characters/story.
Dee was lonely; she was looking for a connection, and I don't think it made her a bad person what she did to find that. She made mistakes and wasn't thinking, but I appreciated that she owned up to her choices. I loved Russ, lol. He is kinda of a mess; he was making a bigger mess than necessary with Dee, but he was a desperate man!
This was cozy, hot and a little angsty but very happy in the end.
I ate this book up! More Daddy Wolfmen, please.

So this is a super smut-tastic monster romance. It's a light, fast read, and I would have liked it better if it didn't have some issues.

The most critical issue, for me, was cheating.

Let me give you a short rundown of the situation. The FMC has basically signed up for a program where human women are paid to have babies with monsters - that's essentially the theme of the series, various women who are doing this job. The idea is that human women have much much higher fertility rates than monsters, so this is a service they get paid for by monsters who are desperate for a family. It isn't exactly surrogacy, because they have sex in the clinic, but it is tied up in rules of anonymity. They're not allowed to know each other's names ... they aren't even allowed to see each other's faces. So sex monthly until the woman is preggo, and then 9 months later she has the baby, it is handed off to the monster papa. She gets 3 months to recover and then is back in the program paired with the next monster.

The FMC and MMC form a solid insta-connection at the clinic - the MMC knows she's his mate. He doesn't tell her, or say anything really, but she turns up pregnant right away so that's that and he's not slated to see her again. But he's desperate to find her, cuz mate.

She really digs him too, but knows that it isn't supposed to work that way - this is her first time with the program, so it's all new to her and she's not sure if she's feeling something abnormal or "more" ... or if it's just emotions and hormones. She tries to go about her life. Meets a guy, and because she's lonely, she becomes that guy's girlfriend even though she's pretty lukewarm about it because she digs the wolfman.

When he finds her, she has sex with him right away ... despite having a boyfriend. She breaks up with the boyfriend the next day, but still, ugh. She's stringing along a guy who is clearly into her, that she's meh about, and she immediately jumps the MMC when they reconnect. It honestly makes her seem like a bad person.

So that's why I can't give this more than 3 stars. But YMMV.

Everything was PERFECT until it wasn't 😫

I was loving how the story was developing, but i don't know why the author decided to create the most insufferable FMC I have ever read.

She literally plays the victim when she knew very well that what she was doing was wrong. *"You didn’t want to be my friend. You were... you were trying to ingratiate yourself in my life.”* *“You were going to try to break up Robbie and I, weren’t you?”* what are you talking about ¿¿¿? you said you didn't even love your "boyfriend" and basically implied that you were using him to not be alone. 😃

and then when she gets mad at the MMC for not telling her the truth. ok, I get it. but lit seconds before she told him that if he had told her from the beginning, "she would have left everything for him," so why is she mad. I. DON'T. UNDERSTAND. HER.

P.S. Every time someone says "wolfman cock" a fairy dies. Pls bro plsssss just stop saying itttttt.

Awful title aside it was a fun time !

I love monster romance no matter how horny they are . The older I get the less I enjoy smut but sometime in need to turn my brain off and that is exactly the kind of book I need! And they are always a fast read.

I loved all the tropes in this, even the cheating (not on the FMC) and breeding the pregnancy.

The only thing I wasn’t super thrilled about was her reluctance to have Russ in her life, even though he clearly was. And she didn’t stick to her guns well after tell him that he was being a creep but for the page count, the story was packed with a great new world that I hope Riley revisits!

I didn’t really like Dee. I have noticed that I tend not to like Lyonne Riley’s heroines as they usually, at some point of time, greatly overreact to some mistake the hero made, and Dee did that in this one. I also feel like the story concluded without the couple actually talking things out. It was just silently agreed/decided that Dee would stay in the relationship 😐…

I knew I would love this even though so many of the tropes are ones that I hate 😆 Lyonne Riley just does it different.

Somehow you just can’t be mad at either character for the way they handle things even though both of them are technically not making the best choices? But it’s fineeeee

I usually don’t like pregnancy in books that much but I didn’t mind this too much. The only part I didn’t love was the actual birth part lmao. But I am a sucker for breeding/knotting and fated mates so I loooovvveeeeddddd it

Normally I don’t go for pregnancy or stalking tropes, but since it’s from Lyonne, I thought would try it; I love her episodic series on Patreon. I’m so glad I did, because it is good! Lyonne managed to create a narrative which allowed me to see beyond these tropes and appreciate the characters' journey. This book is hot, and it features lots of cozy and angsty moments with a happy conclusion as well.

** Possible Spoliers**

Dee is in a time of her life where she feels nothing is working for her, careerwise. She sets off to find a new career path, surrogacy. Russ is a mess of a werewolf: lovable, caring and very protective. He has dreamed of a family for as long as he can remember. Dee and Russ meet anonymously through the surrogacy company called “DreamTogether”, where they conduct the process of impregnating the surrogate. It is to be kept very clinical and therefore, all identities remain a secret. Russ feels an instant attraction to this stranger, creating a conflict in keeping things clinical. He opts to make these encounters for Dee unforgettable. After the second meeting Russ recognizes Dee as his mate, yet he can’t seem to be able to properly exchange information. He is now determined to discover her identity and safeguard their cub. He is willing to do whatever it takes to stay by his new family side and keep them safe. After working out this conflict and allowing this new family to blossom, Dee and Russ live out their happy life together as the family he has always wanted.

I absolutely loved this one! Dee sets out to be bred by monsters for a surrogate job and comes across Russ. Fake names are exchanged as the rules are quite strict. Get in, do your business and get out. Nothing else. But when feels get in the way (and amazing wolfman sex) Russ can’t sit by and not get to know the woman who will carry his cub. This was such a unique read for me, being a surrogacy/pregnancy focused read which I normally don’t enjoy beyond epilogues, but I truly enjoyed this one a lot. I love Lyonne’s stories. This one is sure to hit you in the feels, make you laugh, make you cry and be a memorable read for sure!

The way this book has left me COMPLETELY unhinged is a talent that only Lyonne (and lots of wolfman breeding goodness) can achieve! I read it in one sitting, avoiding my adulting responsibilities in the process, and I’m not even the SLIGHTEST bit mad about it! 🤣

It’s spicy, it’s hot, it’s surprisingly sweet and…did I mention it’s HOT?! Because, WOW, did this book have me fanning myself like a Victorian maiden! Russ & Dee could seriously start a fire with all the spice that they be putting into the world (and thank YOU Lyonne, you’ve truely blessed us for that!)

There’s a breeding program, a furry Wolfman, fated mates, knotting, stalking (he just wants to make sure she’s safe, okay!), other man drama, “touch her and I’ll kill you with my bare hands” type of vibes, a whole book pregnancy and birth and…breeding. Lots and LOTS of breeding.

It’s phenomenal. No words. No comments. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE. Like…I’M OBSESSED. 5/5 stars!!!

Anything written by Lyonne, I will undoubtedly read. I love their stories, and they take me to a cozy place with their characters. We start this story with Dee, who is looking for an alternative to leave her job and finds an agency that pays you to lend your womb to monsters who want to have a child. The monster that chose her was a Wolfman named Russ. Of course, they use fake names because they can't reveal their real ones due to the agency's policies. Everything was supposed to be separate, but Russ couldn't leave his cub unprotected and felt he had to protect it. Their relationship becomes complicated; he stalks her for months, and she is cheating. But despite all that, they manage to create something beautiful out of it. Maybe their beginnings weren't the right ones, but that doesn't make them bad people. The instant lust they felt when they saw each other led them to accept one another over time, realizing their connection went beyond just sex, and I really loved that. Russ is super sweet, very protective, kind, an excellent father—the perfect monster. The monsters that Lyonne creates are perfect. I love them all. Whenever I want to feel cozy, I read a book by Lyonne. They are sweet but also spicy.

Lyonne Riley is one of my must-read monster romance authors and this book is a shining example of WHY. Bred By the Wolfman had tropes that made me side-eye the story from the beginning - pregnancy, stalking, and cheating, I’m looking at you - but I was able to look past them with the development of the and growing relationship between Dee and Russ. Is it strange to say that the stalking is sweet? And while I 100% do not agree with the cheating, for this story, I get it. It’s that instant-lust but slow, messy connection that really pulled me in. I was so, SO happy when they were finally able to recognize and flesh out the relationship beyond the feral mating attachment. I just loved all of this. Another banger by Lyonne. And I hope we can continue with other stories from the clinic… PRETTY PLEASE.

Ok, so not only is it my favourite Lyonne Riley book to date but it's made it on my list of favourite books of all time!
This is literally everything i wanted in a book. Like Lyonne reached into my brain and picked everything i want and love in books.
I binged the F out of this and didn't want to put it down.
It starts with a bang, quite literally.
The spice starts spicing from the first 2 chapters and i was there for it.
Russ was everything i love. Protective, obsessed and so devoted to her from the moment he 'meets' her.
Dee was amazing too, i feel she reacted how she should in the situations and was so easy to love!
This is definitely going to be a book i reread!

1.75⭐️ Thank you to the author for having the trigger warnings at the front of the book. Now I’m gonna try to exclude my cheating hatred in the review of this book.
Finish: I’m not gonna exclude my hatred of the book. I lied because the author didn’t HAVE to add the cheating trope! IT DID NOTHING for the FMC. I thinknit was at an attempt to make the character more interesting because she was boring AF. At first I was like “I don’t see the problem, she doesn’t see Robbie as her boyfriend” then she had to go and use the word boyfriend. Now her whole personality is horny irresponsible lonely cheater. I don’t see why “Bill” wasn’t scared that she’d cheat on him too. Also, I understand why he was obsessed and “in love” with her. He’s a wolf they have the whole fated mate bullshit, but she was just dickmatizes. Stalking, manipulating, and lying is not werewolf traits, therefore that will not be forgiven. If it were ONLY stalking, I would get it, but it’s not! Also, when I read wolfman I thought werewolf but he is deadass a dog that walks on two legs. I find it disgusting that she craves actual dog peen then goes and adopts a pet dog for her loneliness. So fucking weird. They could have left Boomer outta this honestly. It would have even been funny if she would have gotten a cat. Him and the cat could have lowkey had beef or something to make it funny. Then the nonconsensual mating bite was crazy! This book had so much potential to be fun and sexy but was just… not.

The Good
I love Lyonne Riley books! When I first saw the teaser I was so excited and immediately preordered it. I loved the surgacy concept paired with fated mates and monsters! Dee is bored of her fast food job and wants her own time for relaxation that she never gets. I really understood her and her desire for more to life. Russ is a doctor who yearns for a family. His desire not only for his cub but for Dee leads to him making some insane decisions. I thought the stalking would put me off but it didn't at all. Seeing them really fall for each other and take their time was really great as well. They had good chemistry and really understood each other.

Tropes:
— Pregnancy
— Stalking / Deception
— Fated Mates

Horn Level: 5/5🌶️
Format: Ebook

The Rating
I give this book a 4/5🌟 rating. This was so fun and more complex than fated mate werewolf stories usually are!!

I honestly really don’t want to be negative as reading is a personal preference but I wish:
1. That I hadn’t paid for this book.
2. That I could get the time back I spent reading it.
3. I could get the image of an actual wolf and a butt in the air out of my head.

I really should have DNF this. I didn’t.

Deanna’s character is so unlikeable. She’s lazy, she’s boring, she’s needy, she lacks any emotional depth or intelligence. She got tired of flipping burgers so decides to stretch her you know what so she can have monsters babies?

Russ - I mean wtf was Russ story line?

The whole ass in the air thing was just absolutely nuts and not even like kinky just literally weird and WEIRD.

I thought it would be a wolf shifter with human traits.

Yall this is a full blown dog wolf man that talks and has paws hanging out of his pants. Not for me.

The story line lacked depth and it sucked.

2 stars felt generous for this book.

Steamy monster romance

I liked this story, but I had a harder time liking the FMC. She seemed pretty immature and almost like she didn't understand what she was signing up for.

I really liked the MMC though! He definitely saved the story.

Overall, the spice was great, the story was pretty good, but the FMC kind of brought it down in my opinion.
