I adored this book! Taming Lord Truist is the newest Regency Romance from Ms. Regina Jeffers and Book 2 of her Strong Regency Women series. The author's ok description gives the reader an excellent synopsis of what to expect. So, let me get right into what I loved most about this book.

First, the characters were so memorable! The main female character, Eleanor (Ella), is so likable. She is not only strong but is also courageous and intelligent. Her character indicates she can rise to any occasion, and sadly, she must. I rooted for her throughout! The main male character, Augustus, took time to grow on me. There were too many things about him which irrated me, sometimes beyond words. But, as I said, he grew on me. The subcharacters of Lord and Lady Lindale were fabulous additions, as we met them in Book One, Loving Lord Lindmore. And lesser characters, which were vital to the plot, were unlikable. The reader can determine how, as I do not wish to give too much away. Let me just say jaw-dropping.

Next, the plotting was so well planned and executed! There was plenty of action, with twists and surprises to the book's conclusion, to happily keep me entertained. It was outstanding!

And last, I love that this author brings us a history lesson in every book. She does not disappoint in this one. Many may not know this, but Ms. Jeffers is an avid gardener, and she pulls from her own love and experience in this area to add depth to Eleanor's character.

I highly recommend this book to romance fans of all ages. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
