What an odd book to license. The description hints at what in retrospect should have been obvious; the revenge is in the form of being violated.
This is not a trope that I like, but the absurdity of the story could almost have worked if the author had leaned into the premise even harder. It either needed to be much darker, or much funnier. This is meant to be a comedy, but it only got a few laughs from me.
Instead we have two one dimensional characters, whose defining characteristics are pathetic and unlikable.
The art was okay. The author has a unique way of drawing eyes that I found pretty at times.
For as short as this was, there was also an unrelated bonus story. It was okay, but there were a couple of ways this story could have resolved itself, and the one the author chose was the least interesting option.

Received an early copy of this through edelweiss.

Really stupid tbh. I went in this completely blind and if I had known what it was about I probably wouldn't have picked it up. The MC is an asshole who cheats on his wife with 6 different women so she hires a "revenge agent" who sexually assaults the MC as revenge by "turning him into a woman." I hated the concept so much and there was really nothing that interested me overall. Like I'm just annoyed because why did this get picked up over so many other bls with better relationships and storylines.

I feel like an idiot for not realising what this manga would be about, so if anyone is wondering:
This manga is about a rapist who gets hired to exact revenge upon shitty guys.

I only read chapter one then dropped it and I don't feel bad about leaving a review regardless. Hizumi explains his actions as "I'll make you feel so good you can never sleep with a woman again", and while I've seen this trope play out in a consentual dynamic in a fun way, it just feels really nasty and pretty homophobic in this manga.
I won't judge anyone for enjoying this as pure fantasy garbage, but if you're looking for a fun story, skip this one and go read Ask and You Will Receive instead (a genuinely good manga where a gay man "seduces" a seemingly straight man as revenge but doesn't violate consent)

Not as kinky as I expected.
Judging from the cover and the description, I thought it would lean harder into sadomasochism. In fact the story focuses on humiliation through non-con, with maybe the tiniest hint of sissification thrown in, but not much else. There's barely any bondage, although it features on the cover. Talk about false advertisement. The manga is also a bit too short to make either the character's change in sexual proclivities nor the relationship development work.

Well, this was something else. Masaichi Hizumi, an unassuming man, works as a revenge agent: cheated wives pay him to make cheating husbands enjoy butt sex. And it’s not voluntary on the receiver’s part. A CW for non-con.

Mikoto Kuga is an obnoxious narcissist who sleeps around so much that not one but two women hire Masaichi to humiliate Mikoto, the first time that’s happened in his career. And he’s very good at what he does. So good, that Mikoto can’t get it up with women anymore. He has no choice but to beg Masaichi to humiliate him more—preferably for the rest of his life.

I don’t know if I should roll my eyes at the premise and the idea of men becoming gay after one time with another man, or find the obnoxious guy’s come-uppance satisfying. A bit of both, I guess. This was slightly hasty, but I don’t think the story had increditents for more than this stand-alone, even if Masaichi seemed like he might have an interesting backstory. Mostly, it’s just spice. There’s also a nice bonus story about different characters.

I feel very mixed about this. From a conceptual level, for folks who enjoy revenge stories and non-con, this may be their cup of tea, and I know there are folks who are into that. That's honestly not my issue: it's erotica, it's titillating, it's fantasy. Plenty of people write dark fantasy training stories, and non-con is popular in all kinds of romance, whether it's m/f or m/m. I think part of the problem is that the premise is right up my alley, but the execution, perhaps because it's meant to be comedy, is clearly for a different audience.

.

And that's before the artwork. I was honestly drawn in by the very pretty cover. It's very nice! And to a degree, it does match the interior. But generally, the interior looked a lot shoddier by comparison, and I think part of the issue is I'm not generally a fan of this mangaka's art style. Basically, if you are expecting more of what's on the cover inside, brace yourself. The sex scenes are well drawn, but most of the story art isn't great. Though the random extra high school story is pretty good.

Overall, it's an unsatisfying story if you are not the rather specific target audience for it. If you like enemies to lovers where the relationship starts with a break-in and assault, I would recommend, "Burn This City" by Aleksandr Voinov. If you like training stories, I'd recommend "Natsume Wants to be Trained" by MAMITA. For a more BDSM-focused version, you could try "Deeper Into the Woods" by not_poignant. If you really just want a story where a serial sexist cheater literally gets what's coming to him, nothing more, this is that, and if you want perhaps a more extended version of this, you could try "The Warehouse" by Killa+Whale. If you want more to this premise, though, you should probably look elsewhere.

Thanks to Edelweiss and the publisher for the DRC!

I truly don't know how to rate this nor how I feel. This review is going to be all spoilers so my bad.

Our MMC is a cheating turd who's divorced because he was actively cheating on his wife with 6 other women. In response, his ex wife hires someone to basically rape and ruin him for women by making him only enjoy anal sex....... 🤨

So he gets raped and bam! He can only think about that guy. Said guy appears again after having been hired by someone to do the same thing to put MMC. After this occurrence, the MMC is on the hunt for this guy and eventually makes him into his sex partner. So now they're just boning.

What in the bonkers is going on?!! I'm kind of lost as to the point of the story and truly hoping this is complete in one volume. Also the ghost story at the end threw me off even further...

Honestly I don’t think I read the synopsis when I grabbed it during a book haul and I skimmed some reviews before I started so I’m not surprised but aside for the pretty art there is t much going for this.

You’ve got the doucheiest scumbag womanizer that cheats on his wife with 6 women and after they divorce she hires a guy to violate his unrepentant a**

He then proceeds to realize he enjoys this form of sex but refuses to do any retrospective look on his life or considers himself bisexual. Rather ends with him demanding they continue to be fuck buddies for life and the guy that is the hired violator? Zero background and who knows whether he has developed feelings or if this is just continuing to be a bother job for him.

Also it’s ridiculous saying this but if we were going to read toxic non con like this I would have expected the spicy scenes to be even more explicit 😬 there are a lot of head shots with blushing cheeks
More than the actual intercourse…..🤷‍♀️

The fact that this book has such low ratings and yet still got printed, it’s kind of insane to me. I thought that the couple was very interesting to watch. Although I would’ve loved to learn more about the agent. And I would’ve loved to have seen the main characters exes, or women trying to take revenge on him. The artwork was cute and the story felt quick enough in pacing. But I don’t feel like I learned too much about either character, which is kind of disappointing.

Ok I'm only giving the 5 rating for the gorgeous art when it comes to the sex scenes but the rape with uke and him getting drugged by "mysterious seme who was summoned by ukes ex wife because he was a womaniser". It was a big turn off tbh, as I said tho, you can't knock the art in this folks!

I...honestly don't know why I preordered this. Did I just not read the summary? Was the summary not fully updated when I threw it in my cart during a sale?

Infidelity is a major no for me, so that should've been an immediate skip, since the entire plot of this one is that Kuga's ex-wife divorces him for cheating on her with 6 different women, then hires a "revenge agent" (Hizumi), to sexually assault him to permanently make him unable to get it up with women ever again.

It's...well done, for what it is. Good art, very hot, and even a weirdly engaging attachment between Kuga and Hizumi, with an oddly cute encounter between the two of them in a sex shop, when Kuga asks Hizumi to pretend to be his boyfriend, so he can turn down the advances of another too-aggressive dude.

They then enter into a consensual relationship, except Hizumi keeps his revenge job, so he continues sleeping with other men. Also not something I'm particularly happy with, typically.

So if you're into really toxic stories and like the idea of guys being punished for their terrible actions, and don't mind non-monogamous relationships, this would be a good story for you.

It's just. Not my thing.

There's also a completely random bonus story about a loner guy who thinks his school library is haunted by a ghost - who is attractive and kind to him and makes his heart beat faster. Again, this could've been interesting and pretty cute, but it rushes way too fast into the smutty bits, so it's obvious that's just this mangaka's style.

Should've been a skip! I'll be more careful in future preorders I guess.

I think we all know what the point of this book is. 😅 But the awful character got in the way of me finding it that hot tbh cos he just kept bringing me back to reality and making me go ‘ugh men’ 😂

This book both characters are toxic but it worked well. Make sure you look at the triggers. Kuga is a serial cheater and his ex paid hizumi to get revenge for her.

I wasn't crazy about the art, but other than that is was good. It was exactly as advertised, so I don't really get the low rating. I sure didn't go into this expecting high prose.
