I KNEW this volume would be intense because of how volume four ended, but I was SOOOO unprepared because having Heli actually FIGHT and TAKE DOWN his friends had my stomach turning and me forgetting how to breathe! It was pure pain to read and felt so much agony and heartbreak and had to keep holding my breath when turning the page because SURELY it will get better! SURELY someone will step in and help!

And thankfully, YES! There was help but there was so much pain and blood to get to that point that while I know I'll reread this series again in the future, I don't know if I have the heart to reread this specific opening again. Truly one of the most brutal and absolutely crushing scenes I've ever read in a story and can only hope we will NEVER see something like it again!

I mean near the end with the new foes, it SEEMS a little bit hopeless, but it is NOTHING compared to the beginning. I don't know how these guys will fight their way out of this, but the final line from Heli on the last page was EVERYTHING, and have no doubts these guys will be strong overcomers against these foes!

Rewinding a little bit, I loved how our werewolf friends were on the scene again! While they are not my favorite simply because I love Heli and the gang so much, I do really like Khan and am deeply interested in seeing how he will play a future role. I think it's already been hinted at and Khan himself has an idea, but I don't think either of us knows how that role will unfold. I can only hope he and all the werewolves will be okay and have been deeply relieved that their quest to find their friends who have been captured has not been lost in this story.

As always, the action is SOOOO on point! I can't get enough of it despite that there was a lot more blood this volume and people getting punched in the face A LOT. LOL! But it's worth seeing these guys fight back and go find Sooha!!

Definitely a series I am continuing to love as each volume has gotten better and better and VERY intense (which has been every volume already, but now it's like times under LOL)! I'm hoping for the best for Sooha and that everyone will come out unscathed!

Oh, my gosh, everyone nearly died twenty times over AGAIN!!!! 😱😱😱 If these guys weren’t supernaturals they’d need some serious blood transfusions by now and major trauma counseling. Especially poor Heli! How DARE that vampire make him do all those horrible things!!!! HOW DARE SHE!!!! My heart broke for him because he had no control and it just kept happening and getting worse and worse and oh my goodness my heart HURT for him, not to mention everyone else! At least things turned out okay. …well, until the end of course, gah, I hate having to wait until March for the next volume…

Hurt and pain aside these new werewolves need to be slapped upside the head because how dare you treat the vampire brothers this way after they saved your hairy butts?!?!? They’re just so RUDE, it makes me dislike them every time they open their mouths! Just, ugh, get over yourselves! (and the one guy looks like a girl, sorrynotsorry) Though it makes the vampire brothers shine all the more because they (mostly, lol) take the moral high ground, so good for them!

Shion driving had me dying laughing, he’s hilarious! And Sooha saving Heli was just…!!!! 🥹🥰 They have it bad for each other and it’s so precious! Now if they could only get with and BE together it would be nice, hint hint…

This series is going above and beyond my expectations and I hope it continues to do so as I impatiently wait for March to arrive and release volume 6!

Now that we have more backstory I’m very invested in how things are going to turn out. The boys’ powers are developing and the werewolves are coming to terms that they actually need the vampires. As long as they stop Dardan I’ll be happy.

This part is a lot of action, but a bit too much of the werewolves for my liking, they still irk me. Even the sketchy vampires are cool, ESPECIALLY the power contrast ones. Part 6 has the best chapter, so, looking forward to rereading that

A pretty good volume with plenty of GASP and OMG and action till to the brim. I had a lot of fun though at times I just had a hard time following it all as we went from one event to the next to the next. For instance the boys just had their fight with the vampire sister then we get to the another vampire battle this time with the werewolves fully involved and then we are walking in the forest and we are getting attacked again??? Hello??? Calm down sir, calm down. No need to rush.
Still a good volume with lots of secrets found, new twists, Sooha is doing her bestie, Dardan is a creep, and the art is good!

I think this is my favourite volume. Finally some real fights with their powers! But its so mean to pitch them against each other. And how often do they have to get smacked down? I still got a big questionmark about Shion and Jakah's powers?
Also I noticed I really enjoy the story more now that our mc Sooha is mostly out of it and just helps from time to time, the focus is more on the 7 men. page 165 is pure gold, Shion my boy!!!
negative point (not just for this volume): some panels are hard to understand because there are just too many motion lines to see the persons clearly...

For a volume that's near-entirely fight scene after hard-to-follow fight scene with characters I know by sight but cannot remember their names for the life of me* , I enjoyed this a lot. The stakes felt rather low, because no matter how many implacable, ultra-powerful opponents the magic vampire and werewolf knights come across, their captive princess will bail them out.

This manhwa went a route I wasn't expecting and I suppose I am still trying to get over it. We were literally just playing some sports game and now we are reincarnated and trying to save the princess as her knights. Its still enjoyable but this felt so much like fighting and honestly, I need a key for the characters just cause there are so many at this point and its hard to remember in between volumes who is who.

Absolutely love this one. The fights are immaculate, especially the ending fight. I just love the whole "natural enemies" concept. I also liked Camill's character a lot better than when I first read it. He really grew on me.

The art in this is so freaking good my mouth was watering.

You also would think that I’m 5 volumes in now, I should know all the characters names. No. I don’t. I only remember the main dudes like Heli, Khan, and Solon. Other than that all the names are like weirdly similar to each other so I mix them up or forget them completely. One day I’ll get it!!!

Just realized that the main character’s been in a coma basically this whole time and I don’t even mind. 😆 It’s fun to see her still interacting with distance heals and poofing in for a sec to save the day before going back to being in a coma, haha. This series is just such cheesy fun.
