Portre gibi çizimler, inanılmaz zekice kurgulanmış boşlukları olmayan, sonunda harika bağlanmış bir hikaye. Uzun zamandır bu kadar güzel çizilmiş bir dijital hikaye okumamıştım.
Otel sahibi, kendisiyle ilgili şaibeler olan Madam Song'un portresini çizmek üzere otele giden beş parasız ressam Yun, kendisini vampirler ve vampir avcılarının olduğu bir hikayenin içinde bulur. Sürprizi bozmamak adına son 5-6 bölümde neler oluyor anlatmak istemiyorum ama öykü o kadar güzel bağlanıyor ki, keşke romanı falan da olsaydı dedirtti.

Finally finished it! Not because there’s something wrong with the webtoon but I swear I hate the daily pass system, else I'd have finished it long ago.
Yun is hired to paint madam Song's portrait but there are conditions, firstly he can't leave unless he's done with the portrait. Secondly, he can't talk of his time around madam Song after leaving.
After a while, he discovers that all the previous portraits are fake. Mystery thickens when he realizes madam Song isn't what she looks like to be. To his requests, she starts to tell him about her life that nobody has ever known of.....
I have read my fair share of vampire stories and novels, this was very different from those. Unique storyline, a great plot- it didn't drag at all. The artwork is dark and beautiful; intricately detailed. I couldn’t get enough of it but, I had to wait because of the daily pass system which was irritating to me. Yet I'd say, it was definitely worth it. If anything, I'd say there could have been more chapters. Or it's me who wants to know more.
Especially, the ending. A perfect one. Somehow sad, yet fulfilling. I'm certain I'm going to think about this one for a while.

Hongjacga knows how to use the webtoon vertical medium to its fullest. The story was good but the magic lied in the way it was told and the artist's art style.
I hadn't seen art style like this before. And I was hooked. The fighting scenes specially were well made. The colour scheme conveyed the mood exactly.
Loved the characters. Safe to say, I am partial to vampires. Still.
I definitely want to read their other works.

First of all, the art is gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. The dark monochrome colors in contrast with bright red in the palette are exquisite. It is one of my favorite.
The story is just as great. It is a vampire story without the usual cliches. Has great characters and a plot. the story doesn't drag and the flow is just perfect.
It has horror elements in the art that really kept me up the night I first read it.
Will recommend it to all if you like a good story.

The art style and the colors are so beautiful, they are stunning!! But the story is similar to other vampire stories I’ve seen, at least until this volume!

The story is so compelling and interesting. I thought this was going to be some sort of escape-the-house horror story after reading the first few chapters, but it went a very unexpected and interesting route instead. The ending felt perfect.
It's very experimental, with the protagonist Iho Yun actually becoming a background character for much of the story. Madame Song is such a beautifully well-layered character.
The art is gorgeous, and complements the story perfectly (since the protagonist is a painter).
Overall, an amazing webtoon that everyone definitely needs to read.

Ahhhhh all my stars to Madame Song!
This story was actually so good? I started reading for some casual horror over halloween but? It was so much better than I expected?
The characters? Fully fleshed out and complex. The story? Beautiful! The art? BEAUTIFUL!
Really did a deep dive into living your life out as a vampire and being a witness to that life style.

Ukleta devojka. Melanholičan umetnik. Prekaljeni lovac na vampire. Jedna tragična priča i jedna tragična ljubav. Poluistine, prećutane istine, opsesije koje rastu sporo, ali neumoljivo. Korejski Drakula u modernom ruhu — ali potpuno svoj.
Drago mi je što sam čekala da sva tri broja izađu na ruskom. Ne znam kako bih uopšte pravila pauze između — ovakve priče se ne ostavljaju na čekanju.

A beautiful story with a truly unique artstyle. Delusion Volume 1 follows starving artist Yoon Baek, who is offered a job to paint a portrait for a very wealthy person who owns a hotel nearby. It pays well, but he must follow several strict rules during the process.
If you've read the Goodreads tags, you can take a guess why he must follow such strict rules. It becomes obvious somewhat quickly, BUT that is not the reason you read this story. Jeonghwa has more secrets than just . It's through the artists creative use of Webtoons verticality and through their beautifully unique artstyle that you come to love the story of Delusion. Volume 1 captures a lot of Yoon Baek's fear and distrust for the situation, and shows you the side of Madam Jeonghwa Song that she would like everyone to see. The chapters that are considered Volume 1 are the slowest, but trust me when I say you want to keep reading.

El dibujo y la ambientación me han fascinado. Me gusta mucho el cómo se ha mantenido la intriga, sin saber muy bien el por qué de las cosas hasta el final. El ritmo ha sido rápido del modo bueno, es una historia original en cuanto a cómo funciona el mundo, sin embargo he echado de menos un final algo más progresivo en el que se explaye más en ciertos aspectos.

This is so underrated in webtoon id. Baca ini berasa baca webtoon di awal-awal 2014, dengan tone warna yang punya vibes sendiri, artsy, dan cerita yang nggak cliche. Baca ini juga berasa masuk ke dalam cerita, merindingnya dapet, ngeri nya dapet, sedihnya dapet. Semua fondasi cerita benar-benar dibuild sedikit demi sedikit, yang membuat pembaca akan merasa bingung namun juga super penasaran sampai sekitar 30 chapter pertama.
Latar belakang tahun cerita webtoon ini terbagi antara tahun 1800an di shanghai serta wilayah Korea sebelum merdeka, dan abad ke 21 di Korea. Garis besar ceritanya tentang Song Junghwa, yang seorang vampir, nyari pelukis buat melukis dia versi tua. Nah, Yun yang seorang pelukis gak laku ditawarkan pekerjaan itu. Dari situlah kemudian dia menemukan hal-hal aneh di rumah besar Song Junghwa dan karena satu dan lain hal dia malah jadi teman bercerita perempuan itu.
Disitu Yun bakal jadi tahu gimana kisah hidup Song Junghwa dimasa lalu, yang dimulai dengan adanya terduga penyakit vampir yang suka membunuh manusia (vampir betulan yang berbahaya, muka mirip setan, dan lebih cenderung ke ala zombie buas sekalinya kegigit. Nggak melulu cakep juga, kecuali vampir tingkat tinggi), lalu Yun juga akan jadi tahu bagaimana kemudian Song Junghwa bisa jadi vampir, lalu kisah cintanya dengan seorang pemburu vampir, dan bagaimana dia bisa jadi orang kaya, dsb.
Chapter terakhir benar-benar bikin terharu, dan pembaca jadi bisa merasakan getirnya perasaan Song Junghwa yang seumur hidup tau dia nggak bakalan menua atau mati. Bener-bener masterpiece. Semoga adaptasi drama atau filmnya memuaskan T___T

[I'm getting back into webcomics this year, but I don't want it to skew my stats too much, so I'm using first volume of published edition to stand for the whole series]

I really enjoyed this story. I would have liked if it was a little longer, and just as the painter, I wanted more of Jeongwha Song. The ending left me hungry for more, which can be a good thing, but in this case it felt a little unsatisfactory.
The style of the illustrations are different from what I'm used to in korean webcomic, but I like this kind of more realistic, less.cartoony style sometimes. Some of the panels and portraits were very beautiful.

I binged this for genuine days, so it's hard for me to distinguish the volumes, so I'm going to rate them as a whole.
This is genuinely the best manhwa I've ever read. It's perfect. The art style is beautiful and the storyline is so, so well crafted and paced. I'm obsessed with this. I think it's gorgeous, genuinely.
I've mentioned it to numerous friends, my boyfriend, like everyone. It's so good.
Lately I've been finding vampire stories that I really like and this is def one of them. Amazing. It's not at all predictable
