From USA Today bestselling author Misty Walker comes a gripping tale of forbidden romance within the dark underworld of motorcycle clubs.

As the priest for the Sons of Erebus, it’s my duty to guide people through their darkest moments. So when a battered and broken woman is abandoned at our clubhouse gates, I feel compelled to offer her solace.

Myla is beautiful, smart, and has a sharp tongue, yet I’m unexpectedly drawn to this woman who’s half my age with a past as tormented as my own. It’s how I recognize the burning rage in her eyes, threatening to consume her. Although she tries to push me away to hide her growing panic and pain, I sense that she’s close to reaching her breaking point.

My instincts are confirmed when a gut feeling wakes me in the middle of the night, telling me she needs help. What I find is beyond my worst nightmare. Myla’s covered in someone else’s blood, despondent, and begging for me to make her feel something other than the fury burning through her veins.

Our one night of raw passion not only exposes Myla’s darkest secrets, but mine too, and so our torrid affair begins. On nights when the weight of her sins threatens to crush her, she seeks comfort in my arms, and on those when my demons threaten to devour me whole, she’s there to banish them with a single touch.

It was inevitable that our sins would catch up with us, and I knew the risks of loving her could be catastrophic. Now I’m faced with an impossible protect her by betraying her trust and risking everything—my honor, my loyalty, my whole world, or lose her forever.

There hasn't been a Misty Walker book that I've loved. Both her MC series are some of my favorites, with "Judge’s Mercy" being my top favorite. It’s about the saint Judge and the sinner Myla.

Since Lucky's trouble, Judge, the MC's priest, has had feelings for Myla. He looks after and cares for her while she's still dealing with the aftermath of the tragic event. I love the power dynamic between the two.

The author delicately navigates the topic of religion in her books. This book is more centered on religious themes, which I genuinely appreciate.

If you enjoy a unique take on an MC book with a captivating storyline and spice, then this book is perfect for you. I suggest starting with Lucy’s Trouble for a more enhanced reading experience.

When the club’s spiritual leader, Judge, struggles with his own demons he still has to help his brothers with theirs. He also is assigned to help with one of the honey pots former girls Myla. She is Tinleigh’s twin and got caught up in some club trouble by association. Trying to cope with the aftermath, Myla feels lost but can Judge be who truly can help her find her way? She is hiding something that could endanger them all but maybe together they can find a way to calm each other’s demons. An age gap romance that deals with some serious topics to be aware and check any TW. My heart just breaks for these two but I do love how they are truly perfect one another even with their background completely opposite. I’m also proud of Myla because yes, petite girls do rule and we can do anything we put our minds to! You will see when you read this one. Get ready for the next Sons MC Man to fall and get his heart beating again. Told in first person and dual POV.

If you are an MC romance lover, embrace the dark and love a story that isn't afraid to push boundaries and eager to be its own original self, you absolutely are going to need to grab this book right now! I found Judge and Myla's story to be captivating and consuming. Each of these characters carry heavy baggage and has a heartbreaking past, so be prepared for wicked sharp edges that cut deeply and the heavy cloak of darkness that weaves throughout and around the unwanted attraction and unexpected feelings that take root between these two. Intensity, drama, twists, action, emotion, and hot steam are a potent combo that I just could not resist.

The forbidden themes moving through Misty Walker’s latest, “Judges Mercy,” were not the only draw to the story for me. Yes, it’s an age gap; Judge is the MC “priest,” and the spice was well written. Misty was able to connect the two characters’ past traumas, though different but similar, in an insightful way that readers will share their pain and anguish through the story.

So much of Judge’s and Myla’s past was heartbreaking. I loved how much trust evolved from their relationship. Sometimes, I feel some authors spend too much time with one character and not develop the other as well, but that wasn’t happening in “Judge’s Mercy.” Misty took the time with Judge’s just as much as Myla’s. I felt I fully understood their past and why they made their decisions.

I’m so bummed I didn’t enjoy this 😪 I was such a fan of the first two and they were so entertaining but this one just did not to it for me. It was a little too over saturated with smut for me (amazingly written smut but still too much). I would’ve loved for those smut scenes to be cut short and we could’ve delved even deeper into judge & myla’s traumas and backstories!! And the chemistry between the two was just so….eh? it felt like a fuck buddy relationship and then all of a sudden they’re calling each other soulmates i just didn’t get it.

I just want say Judge was a 10 out of 10. He is flawed but perfect. Myla on the other hand??? I could not stand her and wanted to put her head through a wall. I know I am not supposed to judge someone on how they cope but man. I was rolling my eyes the whole time. She was also so blind when it came to Judge. I swear even Helen Keller would be able to pick up how much Judge loved Myla faster than Myla did.

This book seemed really good but why the fmc have to be such a bitch, I understand that what she suffered was traumatic but she has people who care for her and such a good MC who was willing to do everything for her, but no she just wanted to take revenge on bad men because of what happened to her, she was not grateful, she was so annoying that it started to piss me off.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the third book in the Sons of Erebus Series. If you have been reading this series then you are going to be well aware of who Judge and Myla are. This is the their story. If you have not been reading this series, you are missing some amazing books and need to read them as soon as possible.
Jude is a member of the Son's. He is the man the brothers go to when they need to vent or are looking for some spiritual guidance. I wouldn't call him a preacher by any means. He will say himself that is not what he is. The man is hiding some things from his brothers. Things that he has not intention of telling them. He also struggles big time sometimes after some confessions. One thing he does know, is that Myla has caught his attention. You will remember that Myla is Tinleigh's twin sister. You already know that so try and are aware of some things that Myla has been though. Now she finds herself at the clubhouse after a very traumatic event happened to her. She is mad, very mad and is not dealing with her emotions well at all. I don't think anyone would be but man I wanted that girl to just talk to someone. However, she has other plans. Plans that the Son's don't need to know about. Judge is always around it seems and they must have appointed him to be her keeper. But no one can ever know what she has been planning. Will she be able to carry it out, or will Judge find out and stop her?

You have to read to find out. I was hooked on this story. I read it in one sitting. I do have to say right here that man, I loved Myla and I got what she was doing, but at times I just wanted her to stop. This girl has a mouth on her and is horrible at times to everyone. But to poor Judge she is the worst. He has gone above and beyond to be there for her and she pushes him away at every turn. She is not letting Tinleigh in and she is basically on an island of her own making. Judge...oh my goodness Judge. My heart both broke and beat faster for him. What a guy. He is not your average biker that's for sure. He cares. He has deep feelings and the need to help someone in him is strong. He surprised me a time or two. But, I can't talk about that or I will say something that I should. I am loving this series and hope that there are many more stories in this series. I think I know whose story we will get next, and I have to say I am so excited about that!! You do not want to miss this book. It will have you one the edge of your seat a lot of the time. I loved it!!

"We are two broken souls, irreparably damaged but somehow perfectly matched." -Myla

Misty Walker has given us the 3rd book in her Sons Of Erebus MC: Reno series with Judge's Mercy. I warn you now if you don't like dark triggers this book is not for you. I started reading this and couldn't put it down it drew me in instantly. The internal war Misty portrays with the religious aspect in this book relates to me so well it felt like she was writing my thoughts.
Myla is Lucky's bestie who works at the Honey Pot. Her twin sister Tinleigh has tried to protect her from the darker sides of the world after they left home but it catches up to her. Myla is severely hurt and the club has made it their job to protect her and get her back on her feet. What happened to Myla changed everything about her and the person she was, now she has nothing but vengeance on her mind. Judge takes it upon himself to look after her no matter how much she doesn't want it. Judge has secrets of his own that he's willing to sacrifice if it will help Myla. Everything he thought he would never have in his life like love he now sees as a possibility with Myla. On the road their lives have taken them they will need each other more than ever. If only they stop putting up walls to shut each other out.
I gave this a 5-star rating and a 5-spicy rating. The dark path this book went on was just what I like to read. Myla and Judge are both broken people who are twisted and meant for each other. And the ending was just perfect, I never saw it coming. I highly recommend this book but suggest reading book 2 Lucky's Trouble first so you have the entire story. I can't wait for the next book to come out and see where Misty is taking us next.

THIS BOOK.

No, seriously, this book! The role reversal, the building of the bond between these two, and how these characters are processing their different traumas is intense and deep. I honestly didn't know what to expect of Myla, after meeting her in the previous book, Lucky's Trouble. While her and her twin Tinleigh both suffered some trauma during childhood, Myla was lucky to be protected once they got out in the world by her sister. That luck runs out at the end of the previous book, and I was so curious to see how that would impact her. Did I see what Misty Walker did with her character coming? No, not at all. It made me feel all the things--discomfort, anger, empathy, excitement--and I loved it. We also see Judge in the previous book, and I was not ready for his childhood trauma and how that has impacted his life either. Yet, both of these deeply traumatized characters were really perfect for each other. Of course, Myla was in the thick of processing her recent trauma and wasn't on board right away. Which did make me want to shake her at times. The push and pull, the way Judge is with her, the messiness of their back and forth kept me enthralled. I even cried happy tears for some of the good moments that happened! And finally, that ending. The way they both found what the other needed. Seriously, amazing.

This series deals with characters that have been to hell and back, and are not only survivors, but find their happiness as well. It is definitely part of my favorites list now.

WOW! This was one hell of a dark, twisted and emotionally heavy story. Judge and Myla do not find their peace easily. The things that these two have been through and continue to put themselves through had me in a chokehold.

Myla is such a fierce badass young woman and a survivor of utterly horrific trauma. You think that she is dealing with it like she should, but Myla is letting her demons and rage take over instead.

Judge has so many demons in his past that he is trying to overcome. He also burdens himself with the club’s demons too, but slowly all of this is bringing him further into the darkness.

I loved the banter between Myla and Judge. There is such an intense emotional push and pull between them and you could just feel all the anger, pain, and healing that they both are going through together. Their chemistry was sizzling hot and utterly intense. And the dirty filthy things they say and do to each other – WOW – panty melting!!

This story made me an emotional wreck. It was dark, twisted, violent, adrenaline packed and filled with edge of your seat suspense. My heart was racing, my adrenaline was pumping, and my jaw was dropping. I could not get enough of this story and I loved every sinfully delicious moment of it.

“My love for Judge is a twisted, all- consuming force, the opposite of all cliché notions of romance. It's a toxic table of death and darkness, fueled by blood and pain. We are two broken souls, irreparably damaged but somehow perfectly matched.”

Judge’s Mercy the third installment in the Sons of Erbus Reno series by Misty Walker. This is a dark romance, age gap, MC series so check the triggers warning before reading. It is recommended reading the books in order to get the most out of the series, but the books can be read as a standalone as well.

This book has a lot of baggage, there is a lot going on with the plot and even more so with the characters, but I think that makes the book so much fun to read. Judge is the man the members of the MC go to to wash themselves clean of their sins. Sins that they want to go away. Judge however has his own demons that haunt his soul. Judge is a Priest, but not a everyday Priest, he is one that lives by his own set of beliefs.

Myla and Judge have a connection that makes this book simply breathless. Life has never been kind to Myla and because of that she has set her path on one of destruction, resentment and revenge. Judge has been there for her even when she is unaware of it, and will always have her back. The pair of them are both frightened and determined to keep their distance from one another until they can’t fight it anymore. Entered into the world of dark MC and all the trigger warnings that come with it.

"The sinner and the saint."
The priest and the prostitute.
The soulmates."

Ohh man… these two have so much hurt to heal from. And they are continuously on that journey but at least doing it together at last.

Myla is dealing with rage and on a warpath of revenge seeking against a group of vile men after being violated herself. On a one woman mission, she’s hell bent on being a killer.
Even is she’s a bitch.
Even if she’s pushing everyone away.
She.will.kill.them.all.

Judge is .. well, he’s so fucking conflicted and a sad boy. He tries to be righteous and follow Gods lead but he feels a compulsion to take on the MC’s sins. All of them. For years.

Both of these characters have heavy religious trauma and end up healing one another through acceptance and love.

“My love for Judge is a twisted, all- consuming force, the opposite of all cliché notions of romance. It's a toxic ble of death and darkness, fueled by blood and pain. We are two broken souls, irreparably damaged but somehow perfectly matched.”

This is another 5⭐️ from Misty Walker. It’s a dark, romantic, gritty, spicy, push and pull, motorcycle club, serial killer, strong FMC, golden retriever boyfriend… I mean.. it’s all there. It’s beautiful. I couldn’t stop reading it. HEA guaranteed.

A dark romance that shows you everyone has a past.
Normal is described as behavior that conforms to the most common behavior in society. So really is anyone normal because to me normal is a setting on the dryer people in the MC life don’t get normal everyone is broken in some way. In judges mercy they own that shit.

The way Myla’s character was written depicted what a survivor of a sexual trauma a lot of the time looks like when the doors are closed and shades are closed. The turmoil that Myla initially goes through that no one ever sees is so raw.

Judge is spiritual Switzerland with a twisted path of his own demons and self destruction. Which leads to his self sabotage of his relationships because he feels like he can never be enough.

Her need to get retribution for those that have wronged her and his need to absolve her there, toxic love look so good on them.

I’m normally not someone that reads age gap romance books but situations sometimes make someone grow up faster than they should have to so with her back story it’s hard to see that she is only 21 to his 41.

People need to evolve what was good or worked then may not work now.
Do what’s right not what’s easy

If you can’t tell I absolutely loved this book!

This is the third book in the Sons of Erebus: Reno, NV series, and it is a whirlwind of emotions as readers follow along the journey of Myla and Judge. These two will pull at one’s heartstrings and at times leave one gasping for breath. Judge is the Priest for the MC, and his upbringing was something no child should have to endure. However, after dealing with his demons, he made the decision to be of strength for others to his own detriment when he fell in with the MC. Myla is a young woman who grew up in a religious household with her sister and the two escaped to find their own way in the world. However, life was not as kind to Myla and she harbored a lot of resentment which set her on a course of destruction. Coming to Myla’s aid is Judge but she will press all of his buttons until all is said and done. This is one well written, age gap romance that deals with some very heavy themes and I will caution anyone to read the trigger warnings before diving in. Never has one couple been so perfectly imperfect and suited for each other. They are the perfect yin/yang combination. I loved this book and cannot wait for more!

Where do I begin with this one, I don't want to give too much away!!! I loved this book!

Please check trigger warnings as this is a dark MC romance and discusses some topics that may be triggering for some readers! With that being said if you love Dark, MC, enemies to lovers, age gap then go grab this book.

Myla is angry and out for revenge for what was done to her. She can't take it out on those who harmed her, so she is hell bent on taking care of others who are just like them. She feels that she is alone in everything because her sister is happy and everyone else seems to be moving on and leaving her behind.

Judge is the MC's spiritual leader and has his own demons that no one knows about not even those closest to him. He however has been there for Myla the whole time even though she hasn't noticed it. They are both scared, and hell bent on being on their own until they both realize otherwise.

For all the juicy details on this one you are going to have to read it for yourself!

I loved it and I can't wait to see who's story we get next!

🔥Dark MC Romance
🔥FMC “Cereal” Unaliver
🔥Priest
🔥Secret Relationship
🔥Age gap
🔥Rel!gious Trauma

This book is a very dark book, so please read all trigger warnings before beginning the book. Myla is really closed off with every right, but she really makes Judge work to break her walls down. Judge falls first, and he is very protective of Myla. They both have their own demons, and it was heartbreaking to learn their story, but it was all worth it in the end because they had each other. Myla does not let Judge in easily, but Judge is patient with her, and along the way, they learn to work through their trauma and accept and love each other the way they need to. I love Judge so much that even though he is going through so much himself with his inner demons that he carries inside, he is still there for Myla no matter what.  Even though, it was a heavy trauma book, it was written so well by the author. I loved this book and everything that Misty puts out. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for use in the next book in the series 🖤

Holy Smokes! I don't even know where to begin. These two have been through so much! Both in their pasts and in the present.
I will say remember to check your triggers.

As Priest for the Sons of Erebus, it's Judge's duty to guide his brothers through their darkest moments. So when Myla was tossed at the clubhouse gates, he felt it was his duty to offer her comfort, even when she was resistant.

She's beautiful and smart and there is no denying his attraction to her. But he can also see the burning rage that threatens to consume her. She's tried pushing him away, to protect her growing panic and pain but he can sense that she's reaching her breaking point.

It's confirmed when he finds her in the middle of the night, covered in blood and begging for him to make her feel something. This night exposes both of their dark secrets and marks the start of their affair.

When their sins catch up with them, Judge must face the impossible: betray her trust or lose her forever.

Thank you so much to the author and Chaotic Creatives for this ARC to review.

Judge is the club’s priest trying to atone for the sins of his past and the sins of those around him. Myla is fighting the demons brought on to her by others, as she tries to bring vengeance on those who have wronged her. In trying to help Myla with her demons will Judge be able to face his own?

This book is the 3rd book in the Sons of Erebus series. And each book in the series is an interconnected standalone.

This book was spicey, and the love/ love-hate relationship going on in the book was so much fun to read. The way he loves her, and wants to help, protect, her - and she fights his love. You’ll feel for these characters, wanting to battle their inner demons for them, hurt those who created their trauma in the first place; while at the same time question their choices. This content is dark, so please check the trigger warnings before reading this book.

I have loved all the books in this series, but this one really grabbed my attention and pulled hard on my heart strings. What an emotional story of two broken souls that find their soul mate to heal. While Judge struggles with his own demons he tries so hard to help Myla overcome hers. He is there for her day and night. Myla has been through an extreme amount of trauma and the only way she feels she can get over it is revenge and sets to make that happen. The closer Judge and her become the harder she tries to push him away. This story will captivate you and pull you in while the characters are relatable with their emotional struggles. This story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions an at points will tear your heart out. It's an amazing story of finding one's path and accepting who you are and putting the past to rest. Judge and Myla were a couple who complete each other and heal each other's souls. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Ya’ll I don’t know how I’ve never read a Misty Walker book before, but I 100% regret not finding her till now because OMG I loved this book so much!!! I’ll now be getting all of em 😂

Judge is the club Priest for the Sons of Erebus and suffers from a dark secret about himself that he’s too afraid to tell his brothers.
Myla is the spitfire, take no bull, twin of Tinleigh (from Lucky’s Trouble).
After recent trauma, Myla decides since she can’t get revenge on those who have hurt her, she’ll take out men who are just as bad.
The twos personalities and morals are complete opposites but that’s what makes them perfect for each other. I loved Judge’s devotion to Myla so much!
The banter between the two was so funny at times, and all love and support from the MC for both Judge and Myla was just perfect. 🖤

I loved the first two books of this serirs, but this book is a miss for me. I hated Myla’s personality. I understand that she had trauma, and she was trying to work through it. I get she was angry and everything but she did it in the dumbest way possible. I understand why she felt like se couldn’t talk to her sister and was hurt that she was moving on but no reason to go on a murder spree. On top of that I have no idea how Judge liked her. She was annoying and whinny the whole time. She was not worth jepordizing his position in the club to protect her secret. It was all so stupid. And after she was found and beaten and drugged she still wanted to go out killing… again. That really solitified my dislike for her. Judge had the idea to have her join the could because she’d have back up, which was a good idea. However, she didn’t deserve to join the club. She put herself, and the club in danger, and risked Judge’s brotherhood to do so.

Definitely not for the weak!!

It’s been a minute since I’ve read a Misty Walker book, and man did I miss her. Not everyone can write a book like Misty, she somehow marries that dark and twisted with emotion and light. I just don’t know how she does it!

Judge and Myla’s relationship is a journey of faith, acceptance and blood. Surviving trauma makes their connection something that no one will question.

This one is dark, it’s going to be triggering, so know that ahead of time. But also know that Misty isn’t writing for the shock value. Everything has a reason and that’s what makes this series great. This is a standalone but I promise the experience is going to be so much better if you start from the beginning!

I am a Misty Walker fan, you should be too!! If you like your stories dark, your heroes questionable and your heroines bada$$, run and read this series!!

Judge’s Mercy is the third book of the Sons of Erebus series of interconnected standalones. Even though this can be read as a standalone I highly recommend that you read the first two books first so you get a better understanding of the club and characters. This book hooked me from the prologue! I already knew this one was going to be dark and tough on some tough topics but please check trigger warnings before diving into this one. My heart broke for Myla and Judge. They both have heartbreaking pasts and carry so much baggage. The push and pull between them was both angsty and delicious. And Misty sure knows how to write the spice! 🔥🔥 I loved these two and how their relationship built and grew. They are so perfect for each other! I also loved getting more of characters that I fell in love with in the first two books and I can’t wait to fall in love with more in future books!

Judge's story is a darker story for the author. Look MC books are dark, but they rarely give the characters time to inwardly reflect. Often it's glossed over for a happily ever after. Not this story. Judge is the fixer, the good guy (if MCs have them), the one everyone leans on. And his own soul suffers for it. He's a perfect complement to a bruised and broken Myla. The philosopher and the prey turned predator.
This story has darker themes. Both of these characters are imperfect and their cracks complement one another beautifully. They don't fit together easily, there's a lot of angst and action in this story, which whittles down their sharp edges allowing them to make something beautiful in the dark.
An absolutely fantastic story.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest read.

This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Judge and Myla’s story.
Judge is his MC priest and carries some dark secrets on his shoulders that his club brothers know nothing about. When a battered and broken woman is left abandoned at the clubhouse gates, Judge feels compelled to help her. Myla is a resilient spitfire, who is fueled by rage which threated to consume her. These two broken souls complement each other perfectly.
This is a well written, dark, raw, gritty, and intense action packed story, with secrets, emotions, an age gap, trauma, angst, vengeance, passion, opposites attract, humor, witty banter, friendships, healing, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and spicy, MC romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Judge's Mercy is book three in the Sons of Erebus: Reno, NV Series. This can be read as a standalone, but to understand some of the background information it would help to read the previous books in the series.

Judge and Myla both have a lot of trauma they have to deal with. Judge's goes back to his childhood and how he was treated by someone close to him. Myla's is more recent. She really struggles with the ability to move past her dark thoughts and start living again.

Judge was always there for her, protecting her and being a confident. She didn't want him to be there because she just wanted to be alone and move forward in her own way. But Judge was too good of a person to let her think she had to do everything by herself. He was a strong force for her to have at her back.

Wow oh wow. Reading the prologue of Judges mercy I knew I was going to be in for a wild read. I was very intrigued by Judge in Lucky’s Trouble and what his story was going to be. I enjoyed that while he was a Priest in some regard, he looked at religion from all aspects and that it’s not just one set cookie cutter thing. Myla, on the other hand, scared me. She was ready to burn down the world and get her revenge. She needed help working through her feelings, and while unaliving men that did bad things may have felt cleansing to her, it wasn’t the smartest way to handle her anger. In the end, I fell in love with her and how she came into her own bad ass way.

Thank you to Misty Walker and Chaotic Influencers for the arc of Judge’s Mercy.
