When I mentioned how much I loved this first two books on IG, the author was so sweet and slid into my DMs and asks if I wanted an ARC for book three… ummmm … absolutely. I started it immediately and read it in three hours.

New couple. Rave’s bestie and right hand man Soren is a fucking player! Getting his dick wet left and right and just enjoying the single life. He has no idea his mate has been right under his nose because well… she’s been hiding it with a spell. Queen Pandora. Queen of the Witch Kingdom.

Full review to come but I seriously loved this book as well.
I’m totally giving with this authors writing. It’s uncomplicated and addicting. I love the whole found family and all the characters. I’m going to see more of the wolf shifters in the future!

Nothing sexier than being preached that women must remain pure while they watch their fated mate get his dick wet with every MarySue in town and then has the audacity to throw a raging jealous tantrum if I guy so much as takes your lunch order.

I don’t know about you, but that REALLY gets my gears going 😬🙄

Like this dude supposedly cared for and wanted a mate so bad, that he literally whored himself out to any person with a vagina. Not only that but he treated his actual fated mate like crap UNTIL he found out she was his mate. Then he decided “yah ok we’re fated so I love you let’s fuck”. And the girl actually was ok by all that??! Lmao reading books like these really makes me lean to the women side of my bisexuality. Because gross AND pathetic.

I knew Soren and Pandora would be everything. I knew going in that nothing was going to come easy for them. That they would fight it tooth and nail it would be as painfully poetic as it was a beautiful disaster.

Soren has so much trauma under all his manwhoring shenanigans and cocksure exterior. A man who's been through more than I thought and is just as angry but it's a quiet storm. Nothing that is wholly obvious until you breach the surface and by that point you're drowning in depths you had no idea existed.

Pandora is many things..
A queen, a friend, a protector.. an independent woman. She's also a victim of circumstance. Someone who has been left to pick up the broken shards of herself and show no vulnerability despite every crevice of her being been patched together so delicately it's awonder she hasn't torn wide open.

These two fickle creatures are far more alike than they believe and with many more secrets than either want to part with. The chemistry that's thread between the hate is so delicately woven it's impossible not to be consumed with the push and pull. Not to feel the tension and feed off their toxic shenanigans.

I could never hate Soren. But man, I didn't like him on times. He didn't know. That didn't make her paying for her mothers crimes right though. Lord knows feminine rage is a thang of wonder, and I was here for Pandora standing for herself. They both had me in a choke hold.

As per, Chantal weaves a tale of wonder in a world of magic that is the gift that keeps giving. The side characters are fantastic and play pivotal rolls within the story. Ever entertaining with their shenanigans, the banter, the bickering.. the crazy and all the future possibilities. It's an exciting place to be that is for sure.

Now... I need the next!!!! PLZZZZ

Masked fate

My first thought when I found out this wasn’t from POV or Astrid / Raven- Noooo!!!

However, the author did an excellent job of keeping our favorite characters involved and the plot moving where the last left off.

Pandora quickly became someone I had empathy and love for in her journey to rule her kingdom and continuously have her heart broken by the secret she is keeping that she is Soren’s fated mate. Astrid is the only one who knows and tries to help the two connect to no avail.

Soren’s POV hits you right away in this book with all of his scandalous one night stands as he is on a mission to never bed the same girl twice.

An early mission for Soren and Pandora gets us acquainted with a world we haven’t spent much time in- the shifters. Triplet wolf shifter brothers and a sister are added to the story, with one of the brothers being previously betrothed to Pandora and still so possessive over her. We also get to know more about the Goblin Kingdom in their quest.

“I’m going on a mission with my fated mate, who doesn’t know he’s my mate and hates me, to watch him seduce another female. With my former betrothed. What could possibly go wrong?”

The plot shifts away from Zython and more to Pandora’s enemies, like her sister Ebony and ex-betrothed, Salem.

I don’t feel this is a spoiler, I mean obviously the truth of fated mates will be revealed. It’s about 50% in which changed a lot of the plot as they now navigate how they’re been treating each other (mainly Soren’s misbehavior and Pandora deciding to forgive or not). Pandora questions if she did the right thing hiding the truth as Soren obsesses over his cruel treatment and how his actions have affected Pandora for all of these years.

Overall- loved them as a couple. Loved the slow burn enemies to lovers and feel there was more of an emotional rollercoaster.

Thank you to Chantal Fernando for the ARC! Release date 11/11/24!

I enjoyed reading this story. It was interesting to finally learn the story of Pandora and Soren. When they finally got together, it was so sweet how fast Soren changed as a person for Pandora. He really did just need to find his mate. I’m glad that Pandora was able to be not easily caught up on Soren, even thought she’s been in love with him forever, and I’m glad she stayed firm until he showed that he truly loved her. I especially liked seeing Soren’s jealous side. I could finally understand why Soren was the way he was and why Pandora chose to hide the bond. The spicy scenes in this book were everything and I think I enjoyed them more than the other two. One of the reason’s why I didn’t give this 5 stars was because I found it hard, after everything Soren said/did to Pandora, to forgive him. I think that Pandora forgave too fast and would have liked for him to fight a little harder after years of treating her horrible. I also thought that a lot of details were left out of this book and that everything moved fast. I hope that we can still explore more of Astrid and Rave’s story.

Thank you to the author Chantal for this e-ARC :)

I really enjoyed this fated mates/enemies to lovers book. It had the same group of characters we’ve grown to love from the first two books, but the focus of this book was on Soren and Pandora. By the end you’ll fall in love with both of them just as much as Astrid and Rave.

I’ve been looking for that one book but sadly this book wasn’t it. The plot, characters and story development was week. This was supposed to be an enemies to lovers book but I felt that the story went from “He hates me” to the MMC being in love with the FMC. There was no slow burn and no build up. Pandora the FMC is a queen of the witches and it’s supposed to be all powerful but she spends most her time in her friend’s kingdom and in the whole book she shows her power once. She has an evil sister that her friends kill like was nothing and the story moves on. She has an ex fiancé that pursuits her that was added to the story so that the MMC can be jealous. And by the way I liked the ex fiancé Salem so much more than the MMC. The MMC did nothing for me. He is a man whore that goes from sleeping with half of the kingdom and hating the FMC to finding out she is his bond mate and loving her to death. I’m pretty sure this is a great read for most readers but I was left feeling unfulfilled and just blah in the end. I was expecting so much more after the reviews and the reviews in booktok. I won’t be reading the remaining books sadly.

I knew from reviews and seeing the MMC Soren in the first two books I'd probably never end up liking him. And I was right.

Quite frankly I found him not worthy of having a mate. At all. Yes, yes he was tortured by the previous Witch Queen because he was tricked by her evil daughter and lured into a trap. While I understood his animosity and disgust regarding the Witch Kingdom he was held captive in and even his hate towards all witches due to his less than stellar experience I still found no redemption in his behavior.

From how it sounded it's not as if he ever attempted to find peace with what happened to him. Rather he let it fester into this ugly type of hate and need for control, alas he was forever a cruel dick to the new Witch Queen Pandora and he had ultimate control by using bondage with his sexual partners. It sure didn't seem like in the years since his capture that he'd even attempted to move past it or heal from it, even mentally.

So, no. I couldn't find it in me to accept his piss poor apologies to Pandora when he finally did learn she was his mate. Because he never wanted her before. Not once, didn't even feel an attraction to her really. And yes, some of that was subdued due to her spelled necklace that allowed her to hide their bond but as we saw in the book the more time he spent with her the stronger he felt so the spell couldn't fight fate. The post is he didn't spend any time with her, outside of her hanging around Rave all these years and now Astrid. He never found fault in taking his little jabs at her heritage or her personally because of said heritage. He didn't think twice about the burden she carried on her shoulders with what her mother and sister had done to him. Even when Rave and Astrid push him to be nicer, trying to make him realize his words and behavior were rude even from a normal interaction POV he still couldn't help himself. And it was unforgivable to me. He didn't let their chiding him to behave change anything.

And worse of all, which is a huge glaring hypocritical aspect of this authors story was the fact he fucked every blonde being with a vagina. Every. Single. One. For years. And he never felt remorse about spending his time in such a way while "waiting for his mate to appear" although felt it was a long shot he would meet his mate which was exactly what Rave said and did as well. The only difference was Rave didn't flaunt his past sexual conquests in from of Astrid or were they so plentiful in the kingdom where they resided that you could trip over one with each step. In Sorens case, that was literal. Maids, villagers, literally any blonde female got a one way trip on the Soren Pony Express and then he quit it. So he went through vaginas like wet wash rags. It was disgusting, quite frankly.

And naturally Astrid and Pandora were virgins. And hardly had any experience at all sexually or romantically between them. 🤮 And those men, especially Soren still had the fucking audacity to whine and throw tantrums that Pandora gave her virginity, something he said belonged to him, away to another lover just a couple months before.

While yes, him being upset she gave her virginity to August with the knowledge they were mates while he had no clue held a little bit of weight it also didn't make a difference to me either. She deserved to live her life and move on, if at all possible. And sadly that was her one moment of rebellion because otherwise she simply stood on the sidelines and watched him fuck every other woman who was the opposite of her in every way and let him insult her without argument.

And like who cared if Soren claimed he kept his lips for his mate? Oh, yippie he didn't kiss any of his variety snack pack of women through the years nor had he ever tasted a pussy, also saving oral for his mate. 🙄 Or that he realized he stayed away from any woman who had her jet black hair and chose blondes because it would've felt wrong to discard them because they resembled his mate all along. Yeah, go cry me a river Soren. You got what you deserved and even then it wasn't enough!

So did I like Soren? Absolutely not. Pandora could have been such a good character but she was a washed out version of what could've been. I had such hope she'd make this worth my time but nope.

No strength, no backbone. Nada. She had a handful of moments where she actually stood up for herself when Sorens treatment became too much to bear, but that was it. She was this all powerful witch but we never even saw it. Maybe once she flexed her powers at the end but otherwise from beginning to end Rave was forever sending Soren to "protect" her as if she was some sort of weakling. We never saw her be this almighty powerful Witch Queen she was depicted as. Even in the first two books Pandora appeared entirely different in personality IMHO. She came across as confident, wise and she seemed to be at ease with how to handle herself in her role as queen. But in this book she was this half baked sad little girl who never stood up for herself and she didn't even fight to make Soren understand her POV or her feelings.

And having her never in her kingdom certainly didn't help her image as a strong and caring ruler. It made her position seem to be on paper only. It had no substance.

Yet somehow more frustratingly was that in Soren's eyes everything was magically fixed now that he knew they were fated. He kept reminding her he would never want anyone else, how she was it for him, forever. How her being his mate made her the most important person in his life, that it meant he didn't want any other woman etc. But ya know what I never heard from him? That he wanted HER. Pandora, not his mate. That he cared about Pandora herself. If that mate bond hadn't been revealed I seriously doubt he's had felt any differently for her. He didn't see Pandora, he saw his mate. IMHO there was a huge difference there and he just kept excusing everything because she was his mate. It didn't just erase everything and I hated he never attempted to redeem himself.

Especially with his weak ass claind to be in love with her a mere week or two after learning the truth about them being fated. All those years around one another and now he's caught feelings? Hah, liar.

It was just downright sad and disappointing tbh. I wanted Pandora to give Soren a fight to win her over after he found out they were mates. But she just mopes and calms him down when he loses his shit because of jealousy, and just resists having sex with him for a moment.

I mean, I get why she hid the mating because she was right believing he was not in the right place to accept it when she first discovered the truth. And Soren could be mad all he wanted but she made that sacrifice for him and their future, if there was ever to be one. And he bitched and moaned so much about it but gee, I wonder why? It wasn't that he didn't know his mate was right in fucking front of him for years, nah. It was all the guilt of making her watch him with other women, all his pets, and also treating her as if she was a shit stain on his boot rather than even with a modicum of respect her goddamn position as Witch Queen deserved despite his obvious hatred towards witches. Even as being an ally and friend of his best friend and king he still was disrespectful and that wasn't acceptable at all.

And last we learned in book one when Astrid and Rave bonded, all it took was having sex. But in this book suddenly the ethereal glow that happens during sex with your mate is now a "choice" that you can accept to finish the bond. Which was absurd to change it now because Pandora wanted to fuck her mate but not bond yet. So they got to fuck around a little bit before she accepted the bond. Just silly.

I did enjoy Salem. Another reviewer wasn't wrong about him being ten times better than Soren.

Also hardly anything happens in this book. I can't even count them killing Pandora's sister as anything worth noting since we weren't even aware of her until this book and she barely had a presence.

i was on the edge of my seat, waiting for this book. The first two I FELL IN LOVE. These books have me obsessed with this world. The characters are just a vibe!! I want them all to be my friends. They protect each other and will do absolutely everything for one another. Anddd in this world, you will find your fate mate, in which the first two books are about Astrid and Raven. And in Masked Fate, the story is about Pandora, she is a witch, a powerful one. Who she might seem evil and uncaring, but she is anything but..

Soren, this piece of man. He drives me nuts, the manwhore that he is!! Ughhh lol 😆 i wanted to smack him across his head for not realizing it sooner, what Pandora would be to him.

He hated her, for what she stands for, for what her family did to him. She is a nightmare to him.. but even then, he still protects her, because deep down, he knew something was there.

You see, Pandora knew who she was to him.. but she hide it. She took the burden of the truth, because she knew that she was not wanted by him.

But boy was she wrong, I thought this at that moment all hell would break loose, but to my shock, literally shock, jaw on the floor. HE DID THE OPPOSITE! I had to reread it again because no way. His feelings towards her were not kind. AT ALL! But oh boy what a twist!!

i seriously can't get enough. i want all the drama, i want everyone to find their mates, especially because its always a forbidden one or something. Like the suspense is killing me and I just want more!!

Chantel, you put a spell on me, and I don't think i want to be cured. I want all of your stories about this world, and I will wait until the end of days for it.

<3333 Thank you my darling for the ARC 😊😊😊

5* read.
I'm obsessed with this series in a way that I haven't felt for books in a long time.
Soren and Pandora are the perfect fated mates. It's just a shame Soren hates witches and so Pandora is hiding that fact from him, even though she's hurting herself in the process by having to watch her fated mate with other woman. I felt really sorry for Pandora, she thought she was protecting them both by hiding the fact they're fated mates but I just caused them more hurt. I really enjoyed seeing how their connection grew, and I did love the banter between them (even when they hated each other) aswell as their fire chemistry.
Honestly this booked ended to quickly, I could have just kept reading and reading but I don't think it would have ever been enough. Chantal has wrote an addictive enemies to lovers story with characters I'm obsessed with. I'm already hoping that certain other characters get their own book. One person in particular, even if he really really deranged (if you've read this book you'll know who I mean). I can't wait for Bane's story. Like I actually need it right now please (as you can tell I'm not very patient where this series is concerned).

Masked Fate was an engaging, exciting and enchanting romantasy. I can't get enough of these characters and this addictive fantasy world. I love the danger and the dark and twisty storylines.

I was so freaking excited to read more from Soren and Pandora as they've both been such big personalities in the previous books, I was dying to see them in action, all the will they won't they had me on edge.

Soren really comes into his own in this book, yes he acted like an ass a lot of the time but he had his reasons. When the truth comes out he doesn't hold back and Damn! the man is demanding and sinfully seductive.

Pandora is full of surprises, I love her. She's a sneaky little witch who likes keeping secrets, she has amazing strength and plenty of sass, the perfect mate for Soren.

The next book can't come quick enough, that ending was EPIC! I never would've guessed but I'm so here for it, bring on the raging Storm, I cant wait. ⚡️👏

I'm just putting this out there now. I need  Salem to get his story, I'm loving that psychotic crazy Wolf more and more. 🤞

I’ve been in love with Chantal Fernando’s books for a while and got super excited when she was diving into the fantasy world. She has made an absolutely bingeable series with the Fated Love series!

I absolutely loved Forewarned and Foretold and when I found out Soren and Pandora were getting a story next I jumped with joy.

Will Soren be able to find out Pandora’s secret before it’s too late?

Soren has had a past with witches and absolutely detests them; but lo and behold his fated mate is Queen Pandora- a witch.

Pandora doesn’t want him knowing this fact and wears an amulet to prevent him from knowing.

I loved how Astrid and Rafe make a heavy appearance in this book as I was not ready to let them go.

I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Oof! This series! 😍 I finished this in a few hours! It's that gripping and that good!

I kinda missed Astrid and Rav's POV but I absolutely love getting to know the side characters more. Pandora is an absolute bad a$$! And my favorite thing about these MMC's is there sweetness that only adds allure to their darkness.

Man! Does Chantal Fernando know how to write MMCs! And the FMC's are nothing less and have you feel like you're part of the inner circle. I also love that it's to the point so I'm not going to spend weeks analyzing possible plots. There are plot twists! That's for sure! But this series is so enjoyable because you get just fall into the story without wondering if you have to remember every omnious thing incase it means something later.

This Book!!! Wow!!! The Anticipation!!!

Masked Fate is a magical, thrilling page-turner that completely consumed me. Soren and Pandora can't escape their fate no matter how much they try.
I love the characters and the way the story unfolded. There is nothing hotter than an enemies-to-lovers story and MASKED FATE delivers that fiery romance plus an exciting adventure. Soren and Pandora are now one of my favorite couples and I love getting lost in their realm. This is one of those stories that you have to read and devour the moment it's released, and now you just sit here so sad it's over. Can't wait for more!! I need it.

This third installment was disappointing. The plot is nearly abandoned in favor of forcing Soren and Pandora together, sidelining the overarching story. What little action remains feels abrupt and jarring, lacking the twists and depth of the previous books. Instead, the story leans on convenience, leading to inconsistencies—like Pandora’s non-magical sister inexplicably placing a powerful trapping ward which Pandora’s magic fails to defeat, forcing unnecessary peril. The book feels rushed and thin, and despite prior interest in Bane’s story, the decline in quality makes continuing the series unappealing.

Chantal has done it again. Unlikely mates. Enemies to lovers.
Soren is a fae who was tortured for information if Race the shadow daddy. From the original witch queen.
Pandora the new witch queen and daughter of said evil witch queen, has been hiding the fact that she's someone's mate with her own magic, just so she's not rejected. Watches on the side lines while he goes around and sleeps with multiple fae. And to top it off her sister ebony has been trying to kill her.

Well done Chantal! Cannot wait for the next installment.

Soren made me so mad, I wanted to throw my kindle. Pandora broke my heart. This one kept me turning the pages and hit me in my emotions. Soren and Pandora were hot once they finally got together. They almost set my kindle on fire. Masked Fate gave me some feels.
I thought these two were never going to get together and bond. This was a good read. Ultimately, I enjoyed Pandora and Sorens' story. Soren did eventually redeem himself in my eyes. They had had quite the path to their happily ever after, but finally found it. Masked Fate was a good read.

Book three: I was so excited for oh so sexy Soren and the sweet sweet Pandora’s story and this book does not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be and so much more. I could not put it down, AT ALL. There was not one part of the book that didn’t have me absolutely enthralled. Then to find out what Pandora’s powers actually are (gasp)… you just get past that, to have the next two fated mates revealed and cliff hanger….
Chantal leaves us hanging for the next book. I simply can’t wait!!!
This book is a MUST read.

It only took me 4hrs to finish the story not because it was groundbreaking or greatest literature but it was highly entertaining and that is enough for me to devour this whole.

Fated mated, enemies to lovers, groveling, angst and possessiveness MC and so much DRAMA i was SAT. Started past 10PM finish at 2AM and was fully entertained.

I was vibing with the author's writing style. It was balance just right. I appreciated that when Soren found out about the bond Pandora kept her integrity to not easily give in to Soren's ply for forgiveness. That submission scene was cherry on top.

Soren & Pandora had me laughing, cringing & wanting to smack them both hard. Chantal did an excellent job keeping the characters we love constant & connected seamlessly. I loved the playful banter & friendship between Rave, Astrid, Soren & Pandora. Absolutely loved how Soren accepted that grovelling & loving deep was the way to go. Watch out for the blazing fires of chemistry throughout. Honest review.
