A loquacious, fast-paced tale of two friends and their adventure in writing an article that castigates organized religion as they experience the truth about God and his followers.

I would caution anyone that is easily offended or too closed minded that this book will easily offend members of some churches, mosques and synagogues.

Personally I am a Lutheran and still found many truths mixed into the antics of Gabriel and Warren.

To me, it sounded like a mix of Mark Twain's wryness with Hunter S. Thompson's insanity. Lots of fun. Minus one star only because the drug-fueled dynamic is so "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" that Warren looked to my mind's eye exactly like Benicio del Toro. Which I suppose should be a good thing.

This tribute to Hunter S. Thompson is not only hilarious, but thought-provoking as well. I doubt the author appreciates the reader thinking about his books, but I couldn't help it. The entire book screams (at least to me) "America! Can you worship God silently, by yourself, without getting me involved?"

I love Greg's books and he has the best voice in audio books, but this is by far my favorite.

Not only does he write funny books. He's a jet engine mechanic and research physicist studying the effects of mass laughter on collisions in his homemade farticle joke accelerator. Oh, and he's quite fetching.

Aside from the too-frequent drug references, this book is one of the funniest I've ever read.
