Nicely done! Starts off in the drivers seat and pushes the gas pedal throughout! I loved both MCs and how their connection was still peeked through even when they were ‘nothing’ to each other. The conflict was intriguing and resolved quite satisfactorily.

There’s also a perfect bonus epilogue you can download and it’s worth the quick read!

Pit Stop by L.M. Bennett delivers a fast-paced sapphic romance set against the high-stakes world of competitive racing. The story of Sage and Jagger is packed with tension, action, and a slow-burn romance that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The racing theme is engaging, filled with suspense and adrenaline-pumping moments, but the real heart of the story is the undeniable chemistry between Sage and Jagger. Their dynamic—rooted in a messy past and unresolved attraction—is portrayed wonderfully and has you rooting for these two.

The plot moves at a fast pace, making it an easy and exciting read. The enemies-to-lovers tension between Sage and Jagger is palpable, and their journey from bitter rivals to something deeper is both angsty and hot. The push and pull between them is well written, keeping readers invested in their evolving relationship.

This slow-burn romance offers an entertaining mix of passion, competition, revelation, and forgiveness. L.M. Bennett does a great job balancing the racing plotline with the emotional depth of the characters, making Pit Stop a thoroughly engaging read. Fans of sapphic romance and enemies-to-lovers tropes will enjoy this one.

Can we talk about how GORGEOUS this cover is?!? I mean COME ON!!!!!! LOVE

The story of Sage and Jaggar is truly remarkable. It features an engaging racing theme filled with action and suspense. The chemistry between the characters is portrayed brilliantly and executed flawlessly.

The storyline is easy to follow and maintains a fast pace, leaving readers eager for more. Overall, it is a fantastic read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the angst in this book, particularly the ups and downs between the two main characters and Sage's father, Thibaut - TC. He was a well-crafted character who evoked a strong sense of dislike within me, which is a testament to the author's skill in character development.

This slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers sapphic romance was thoroughly entertaining throughout and is highly recommended. I have read many of LM Bennett's books and can confidently say that she possesses a remarkable talent for crafting gripping and entertaining stories. I encourage readers to explore her other works as well, as they are sure to be equally enjoyable.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to mix the heart-pounding action of Formula 1 with the emotional intensity of a slow-burn romance, Pit Stop by L.M. Bennett is the perfect read. From the very first chapter, this novel races ahead with high stakes, fiery tension, and a dynamic duo you can’t help but root for.

Sage and Jagger, once close friends, are now thrust together for a second chance—not just at professional success but perhaps at something more personal. Their relationship is a delicate dance of rivalry and rekindled connection, set against the backdrop of a sport known for its speed, danger, and drama. Bennett’s portrayal of their journey is both raw and relatable, capturing the struggles of navigating trust, ambition, and lingering feelings.
What makes Pit Stop stand out isn’t just the romance. Bennett tackles social issues that are often overlooked in motorsports, adding layers of depth to the story. Themes of inclusion and resilience are seamlessly woven into the narrative, making it as thought-provoking as it is entertaining.

As someone who loves both romance and F1, I appreciated how Bennett struck a balance between the technical aspects of racing and the emotional beats of the story. While the novel doesn’t dive too deeply into F1 jargon, it captures the essence of the sport—the thrill, the risks, and the relentless pursuit of victory.

Pit Stop is a compelling blend of high-speed action and heartfelt emotion, perfect for fans of sports romances or anyone looking for a story that’s as gripping as it is tender. Whether you’re here for the adrenaline of the races or the slow burn of Sage and Jagger’s relationship, this book delivers.

With its fast-paced plot, layered characters, and a unique setting, Pit Stop is a must-read for anyone craving a sapphic romance that breaks the mold.

I loved this book so much. I didn’t want to put it down but at the same time I didn’t want it to end. The story was captivating as was the relationship between Sage and Jagger. And, as always, L.M.’s blend of humor and beautiful writing is unmatched.

I loved how Sage and Jagger’s relationship progressed throughout the book. It was obvious from the beginning that they were fighting their attraction to one another while trying their hardest to hate each other (Although whether or not Jagger ever hated Sage is debatable). Jagger Banks has my entire heart!

The side characters were also fascinating. My love for Rush burns with the same intensity as my hatred for TC. The cameos were also top tier. I nearly screamed!

One of my favorite things about this book was the attention to detail. The story is centered around F1 racing, something that really shines in the book instead of fading into the background. We get to experience the practices and the warmups and races with the characters and see how they feel in the moment instead of just getting a recap after the fact. This made the book so much more enjoyable and exciting to read. I was in the edge of my seat for most of it wondering if the characters were even going to make it to the finish line!

I really enjoyed this book. I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for an enemies to lovers, exciting, sports romance. Thanks so much to L.M. Bennett for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Pit Stop by L.M. Bennett is a thrilling sapphic romance that pulls you right into the high-stakes world of professional racing. The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat, and as a fan of sapphic romance, I was completely immersed. From the heart-pounding race scenes to the complex, slow-burn relationship between Sage and Jagger, every detail is finely tuned to make you feel like you’re on the track with them.

The tension between Sage and Jagger is palpable, especially with the added pressure from Sage’s father, Thibaut, who plays a critical role in keeping them apart. It’s not just about the competition on the racetrack but also the emotional and familial conflicts that drive a wedge between the two women. Thibaut’s controlling presence adds another layer of depth to the story, making the romance feel that much more hard-won.

Bennett does a brilliant job capturing the thrill of racing while also delivering a powerful love story. I found myself rooting for Sage and Jagger not just to win on the track, but to overcome the obstacles placed by Thibaut and the weight of their past.

Overall, Pit Stop is a must-read for anyone who enjoys well-developed characters, intense romance, and an expertly crafted enemies-to-lovers storyline. It’s a high-octane, emotional ride from start to finish!

I received this as an ARC to give my honest review.

I went into this with an open mind and for the most part I enjoyed this story. I liked the racing setting and the way the two characters interacted with each other. I did wish there were scenes dedicated to the two MCs past and how they ended up where they were when the story started. The author did a good job bringing you up to speed, but I wanted more of a look at their dynamic before the accident. I think having to wait for the love interests to get together romantically actually worked well with the way the story was setup. I was invested in the races and the villain getting their due, and having the added joy of seeing Jagger and Sage finally be together was beautiful.
I hadn't read the previous story in this series, but after this one I will checking that one out.

A Butch and A Fem Plus One Finish Line

First book I’ve read by L.M. Bennett, and I couldn’t put it down! I loved the plot from F1 racing (hello hot lesbian race car drivers) to the slow burn between Sage and Jagger (cue the palpable chemistry). Both protagonist are delightful in their own way—Sage and her strong mindset, and Jagger with her playful and flirty attitude.

This story is just like a race track from high stakes, angst, and the wanting to get to that finish line where it’s been building up to since the beginning. L. M.’s setting within the F1 racing world was flawless and immersive. I felt like I was right there going through the movements with them.

I’d recommend this story if you enjoy a fast paced environment, strong women racers, and a story that’ll have you riding that edge to see what happens next! Check it out!

Pit Stop by L.M. Bennett is a fast-paced, Formula 1 love story that gets revved up from the start. Who expects to find love in a tension-filled, hairpin-turning 200 mph tale? Bennett crafts a novel about a sport known mostly for crash and burns, not warm and fuzzies. Sage and Jagger are struggling with their own challenges and each other. I enjoy their rivalry, second chance, and slow burn. And I love that Bennett tackles social issues in a sport not known for inclusion. She does a fantastic job of blending romance with the thrilling backdrop of professional racing and creating a story that is both emotionally charged and action-packed. I’m hoping for a prequel to learn more about Sage and Jagger’s beginning.

L.M. Bennett waves a checkered flag for love with Pit Stop.

Pit Stop is a thrill filled ride of love, betrayal, reconciliation and the power of harnessing the power of horsepower power in a sport few can master.
The main characters are team mates on a top-tier racing team. The scene is Vegas and Jagger is hoping to get back on top in the sport she enjoys .Standing in the way in the daughter of team’s owner who is battling the impact of a drastic accident years and the weariness of attempting to earn his racing trailblazers affection. Jagger and Sage have history but forgiveness is elusive. A shocking expose of sabotage brings them closer and the passion that erupts between them is an excellent payoff.
Bennett’s dedication to capturing the nuances of the sport pays off. The details are spot on and add a level to the story which draws the reader into the world. I also enjoyed how she incorporated a pair of lovers from other one of her stories set in Sin City in a crucial bar scene.
I recommend the novella highly for its researched details and characters you are glad to see them end in the winner’s circle.

This was a quick fun read! The characters had depth. My only complaints are it is pretty light on the romance and there’s a few things about the f1 world the author got totally wrong, but I could let it go because it was a shorter story and a fun read.

As a person who loves racing, this was exciting to read. Especially with Sage and Jagger being racing drivers. I have to go read the epilogue now. Well done.

Apparently the epilogue is no longer available....bummer.

Pit Stop is like a F1 car on the track during the last qualifying session: fast-paced. It is the story of two ex-friends who have to team up for their comeback on the grid. Between betrayal, tempering, race incidents and a burning attraction, Jagger and Sage’s story was engaging and intense. With the tension between Jagger and Sage but also between Jagger and TC, I was hanging to the edge of my seat to see how it would blow up.

As a F1 fan and despite the content advisory, I was thrown off by some elements but once I got past that I enjoyed how the thrill but also the dangerousness of this sport was depicted. Pi Stop is perfect for readers looking for their first F1-inspired sapphic story as it doesn’t dwell too much on the technical elements of F1 but enough to get the essence of the sport.
I enjoyed Pit Stop and I look forward reading more from LM Bennett.
