This book stays with you each time you put it down it calls you back and once you are done it keeps you thinking. Lingering by Casey Harvell is one of those page turners with depth. Penelope is an interesting character and the author did a great job making us care (in fact I kept wanting to call Penelope and talk to her, warn her, etc.). The drama builds among a thoughtful story and the twists keep coming. Can’t wait for more from this talented author.
It takes Penelope a long time to recover from her past. Almost a year passes away, which she spends in the isolation of her grandmother's cabin. When she finally decides to take the steps toward reclaiming her life, weird things start occurring... Dangerous things!
This book keeps you on edge until the very end! The twists and turns are non-stop. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romantic thriller.
This book needs quite a bit of editing. It is very hard to read because a lot of punctuation is missing and the wrong words are used or misspelled. I had to continuously go back over each paragraph to make sense of it. After thirty pages, I had to quit reading.
