Things were never quite the same after the fallout between Jeremiah and his previous partners. The purpose he once thought he had vanished, and his desire for intimacy sank into the Earth. That is, until he takes on a task in South Korea and meets Song Min-jae; a sweet and dutiful young man who lived his whole life without knowledge of the deadly presence thriving in his small village.
The mental turmoil and backflips i have the go through to be with this family😭😭 like this family does not know a single inkling of peace. Ive never been with a more dysfunctional family before. But I love them so much. This book has to be one of my favorites of the series thus far. It gave me very much the same vibes as book one with its plot, love story/dynamic, and amount of f*ckery going on with the ending. The love Dynamic between Min-jae and Jeremiah is very reminiscent of Demisius and Hamiltons love. The chemistry between the two, though a tad rushed(just like is fathers tbh), was so beautiful and wholesome. Honestly I think the reason I was so affected by this story is because it was about Jeramiah. We've known him since(basically) book one. And have had 2 book of him having a major part of the plot. And to see him go through so much and to finally see him happy now truly makes my heart whole. It was like seeing my own Lil baby grow up. He went through so much and continued to do so in this book. This family CANNOT catch a d*mn break whatsoever. Im so glad that he finally had someone who cares for him and wont leave him(f*ck them twins bro) (also, Jeramiah turning into a BOTTOM?!?!👀👀👀, Love me a top gone bottom moment tbh) Im also so immensely happy that Jeramiah finally was able to rekindle with demesius. These 2 have been through so much and im glad to see them come through it together in the end. This story really showed that their world will never be the same, now with everyone knowing about vampires. And im interested to see what we have in stored for the rest of the series. Im assuming like this one and the rest of the series is going to make me cry. And I can't wait
