I posted about discovering this series recently. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of the latest. So if you’re looking for a short & spicy story this is a satisfying one. In my opinion, this author writes engaging stories that are just the right amount of plot and spice.

This one happens to be a stranded and rescued by the older mountain man. Who of course also happens to be our young heroine’s, dad’s best friend. That’s a mouthful. This makes it, dare I say- forbidden. This is a trope I love! Not to mention the spicy scenes were perfectly HOT🔥.

I plan to make my way through Kylie Kane’s backlist as soon as possible. I also have ARC’s coming in August! Expect to hear more about this series. I have a feeling it’s going to be a sweet steamy ride. #arcreader #spicyreads @kyliekaneauthor

OMG! I just love a possessive mountain man!
Alex is out walking his dog when he comes across a young woman stranded on the mountain road. He checks her car but it needs a tow. When he finds out she was visiting her dad and his new wife and baby up the mountain, he realizes she's his best friend's daughter, who he's only heard about. But he has an immediate need to know her better. This woman is his.
Claire never expected a hot mountain man to come to her aid, but she's not complaining. This guy is gorgeous. Finding out he's her dad's friend puts her at ease, and they go back to his cabin when it starts to rain. He even picks her up and carries her part of the way, and she's surprised at how strong he is. Quite the turn on for a curvy girl! Things heat up quickly, and soon they're both all in.
But what happens when her dad finds out? Will they fight for each other? Or will the complication tear them apart?
Ooh, yeah! This was a yummy little instalove story with a hot older mountain man and a younger curvy girl. Just a little bit of drama, but supportive friends too. This series just gets better!

Claires car broke doen on her way to her dads to see his new baby when out of nowhere Alex and Luna show up. After they introduce each other they find out Alex is her dads best friend. Claire is his best friends daughter. Small world they thought. Once back at his cabins he has her get cleaned and warmed up while he made dinner for them. Things moved quickly, as Alex is showing her his house she makes it known that she wants more. Alex gives her just that. After a few days she's at Alex's house sitting on his porch having coffee together when her dad shows up. Shocked and if it wasn't for his new wife claire's dad may have lost his mind. Alex explained he loves Claire and are going to get married. Claires dad was actually happy she was happy even though Alex is older but as long as Claires happy thats all he cares about. They met each other very unexpectedly but the heart knows what it wants.

Claire was on her way to her father, his wife, and their new baby when her car conked out on her. She has no idea what's wrong with it. He tells her that she'll need a tow. 

It doesn't take long to discover that her father is Alex's best friend. As they shake hands, he's jolted and realizes that his body and soul are screaming "mine." 

Her father found love with his wife, who was about Claire's age. So he should be happy they've found each other. Right?

This is a super quick and definitive fast paced book, that’s perfect if you need a short read that includes a mountain man and spice. I will say I felt a couple of chapters where a little more rushed than they should have felt, but the book overall was great.

Alex is out walking his dog Luna when he comes across a stranded Women beside her broken down car. Though he wasn’t expecting it to be his best friends daughter, but will that really stop him from having her.

Claire is instantly drawn towards Alex, finding everything about him perfect for her. Without hesitation allows him to take her somewhere safe and then ends up with a night she definitely won’t forget.

But what happens when Claire’s dad finds out, will that be the end of them or will they fight to be together.

Well a good job that Mountain man Alex was taking his dog Luna for her walk, as he stumbles upon goddess Claire broken down in her car. Well he did what a good gentleman would and took her off to his cabins in the woods. She knows who he is , her father’s friend but quite quickly makes her feelings for him known and it’s not long before she’s eliciting a groan …. Fast working Alex has moves of his own and she has no urgent need to leave his side where she’s residing when papa comes a calling…Must read indeed ! It has all the feels while keeping it real. Great writing and awesome characters who practically tell their own story …or so it seems as the writing is that supreme

Claire is a young, curvy virgin who works as a barista and wants to be a writer. Alex is a hunky mountain man and her dad, David's, best friend, and neighbor. When Claire is driving home after visiting her family, her car breaks down. Alex finds her and brings her back to his cabin. It's love at first sight for both of them, but what will her dad say? These two had decent chemistry, and we ended on a happy note after a little bit of angst.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this Wildwood Mountain Man series, and this book was just as fabulous. I appreciate that each book is a standalone with no cliffhangers. I like that I can get right into the story and have my HEA in an hour.
Alex and Claire are a cute couple who instantly fall in love. This is a very nice story, the kind I like to read for a brief break from the world.
I am looking forward to the next book to see how Claire’s friend Bea finds love.

Why has this never happened when my car broke down, meeting the hunky, older mountain man of your dreams??? Alex falls fast and head over hills for Claire, who just happens to be his best friend’s daughter, but you can’t choose who you connect and fall in love with! I am a big fan of Kylie Kane’s writing style and quick reads, so this one definitely didn’t disappoint. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!.

I loved this instalove story! Being a curvy lady myself I could sympathize with the heroine in being unsure about some hot guy loving my curviness even when I don't. The hero in this story handles her shyness perfectly. I, also, loved her best friend (who I hope has a story soon) who says it like it is. See if they can convince her dad to give them his blessing.

This is one of my favorite tropes: the mountain man and the stranded girl. Oh, and the girl happens to be the daughter of his best friend. Alex has known of Claire for a long time but had never met her. At their first meeting, everything is instant. I love both of these characters. They are great together, spicy, sweet, and have plenty of chemistry.

Fireworks to rival New Year's celebrations light up the mountain when Alex spied Claire for the first time. Age gap and instant undeniable attraction is what this is all about. It is a well written book that you can read over coffee at your favourite Cafe, preferably alone so you can soak up all the loving and melting moments in this short novella.

This is a book in a series that you will want at the very top of your TBR list and since it's a short read why not read it now. I thought Alex and Claire were great characters that deliver the STEAMIEST and SEXIEST romance to be read. So glad that I have Kylie's books in my life right now because they are the BEST.

This is an entertaining book that grabs your attention and holds it to the end. The storyline is intriguing with an off limits theme of his best friend’s daughter being appealing to him. Their steamy chemistry makes it difficult for them to resist. I enjoyed this book. Highly recommend.

It may not be the best Mountain Man romance I’ve ever read, but it’s still a really good read. The storyline is pretty good; the characters are a hoot; the plot has some interesting twists and turns; and the HEA is absolutely terrific.
