Left with no other choice, Sierra must relinquish her guilt and summon the courage to bring an end to Excalibur’s brutal reign, but she’ll need help.
Dante’s love for her is immeasurable, but is it, coupled with his deep-seated desire to protect her at all costs strong enough to withstand the storm they’ll soon face, or will Excalibur’s mighty dark forces and dogged determination prove too powerful?

Hi my name is Katie, I’m an indie author who lives in the sunny state of Florida. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy getting lost in a good book. My favorite hobby is gardening, whether it is edible or decorative. In my opinion one can never have too many flowers! I may have a slight addiction to creating things in Procreate and Canva.

This is the second part of the Destiny of Graystone Series. This part mainly revolves around Sierra’s life after she transforms into an immortal. Sierra is Dante’s anima gamelli (soulmate) and Dante is her guardian; who protects her all the time. The second part of the series is a rollercoaster ride as the story unfolds, all the unanswered questions are answered and everything starts making sense. The character development is amazing - Sierra is strong, brave, independent and courageous. She discovers her gift and is trained in a secret area by Dante and others to defeat Excalibur who is keeping Sierra’s parents and some other immortals as prisoners in a dungeon. After hard work and lots of training, Sierra comes face to face with Excalibur. She’s able to defeat him only after losing her mother. The story is a bit slow and there are extensive details but overall it’s an action-packed and thrilling read. The writing style of the author is super intelligible and the plotline is gripping. After defeating Excalibur; the next phase of Sierra’s life is described engagingly. She finally joins the Guardian Academy but she faces a lot of troubles there. Can’t wait to read more about her Academy life and how she manages to move forward after everything she went through. Really looking forward to the next instalment. A compelling and enjoyable read. Highly recommended.

Well, that was a rollercoaster of a book!
It has all the feels, from love and joy, to pure darkness.
Loved all the characters in this book, I think the multiple POVs worked beautifully with the flow of the story. Plus it was good to see how different events affected more than just the main characters.
I really hope Eric gets his one true love 😉. He deserves some joy in his life. Can’t wait for the next book.

Sierra is back with Dante. They are still preparing to take on Excalibur. The Master Council is still not taking his threats seriously. Excalibur still has Sierra’s parents and there is no way Sierra is going to let that stand. Sierra is focused on honing her hydrokinesis skills. Dante is with her every step of the way.

These adventure includes Sierra’s best friend, Emma and her brother Eric. Eric becomes instrumental in helping the team create a plan to rescue Sierra’s parents. Unfortunately this plan does have its pitfalls. Will the team bounce back from their losses?

This book ends with a new beginning for everyone but most specifically, Emma and Sierra. They enroll in the Guardian Academy. Both are determined to complete their training. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the team.

This book starts up where the first one left off. Sierra and Dante are trying to get Excalibur and rescue everyone that has been kidnapped. There is a lot of work that needs to be done including the transition for Sierra and training. Eric has come to see and realize so many things while being forced to help his dad and he decides he doesn’t want to be doing bad things but wants to keep Emma safe.
Sierra and Dante are able to help with that which means Eric is able to help them with valuable information.
Sierra is part of a prophecy that puts a lot of stress on her but she is able to do what needs to be done but only after a great loss.
I can’t wait to see where Sierra and Dante’s story goes next.

Sierra goes through ups and downs more than anyone in this book. Not just with her gift and how hard she has to work, but through her own emotions as well. Dante is always there for her and I love that! Katie has a way of describing things with so much detail that it’s like you’re actually the characters and you’re feeling and thinking what they are. I cried a few times along with Sierra during her journey in this book. It touches on a lot of key points that happen in real life and what can happen in a split second with the choices we make and don’t make. I can’t wait to read the next one that comes out!!

Into the Storm is book 2 in a YA Fantasy series that fans of the Mortal Instruments will like. It contains demons, dream walkers, vampires, werewolves, fairies, and more.

Sierra’s parents kept the immortal world secret from her but now she knows and is fully immersed in a battle. By her side is Dante, her soul mate and Emma, her best friend who is human. There are several more characters and the book dedicates different chapters to different people’s point of view. There is action, danger, suspense and a little romance throughout. This is a really well thought out story with lots going on. Fantasy friends - this one is for you!!

Sierra's Destiny . . .

Sierra must master the gift of hydrokinesis to defeat the dark forces. Sierra has strength and courage as her guardian Dante and others help to train her for what is to come. She must defeat Excalibur to free her parents and others who are being kept as prisoners. Facing Excalibur will not be an easy victory. There will be painful, personal loss. Grab your copy and see where the future is leading her.

Overall this book was a fairly good read. However, I rated it only 3 stars for several reasons.

It was a bit harder for me to get into. It didn’t captivated me as much as book one. While some questions were answered, they also seemed dragged out. Parts were also overly detailed and repetitive in some aspects.

Also, while I love multi-POV, there were a couple added in here that didn’t quite make sense as they were from side characters and not the main characters. I’m holding out hope that it was a way to allow them to become more important in the rest of the series.

This young adult romantacy was action packed from the beginning! When Sierra and Dante discover that she's the chosen Immortal Savior who the ancients foretold would defeat the evil Excalibur, who threatens the lives of humans and immortals alike, with the help of others who have chosen to join their alliance, they form a plan to rescue those he's been holding captive including her parents, a brutal battle ensues leaving scars both physical and emotional. However, once it's over they struggle to adjust to a normal life, including her going to the academy in Graystone to train as an Immortal Guardian.
This is the second book in the Destiny of Graystone series and I can't wait to continue the journey!
I received a review copy with no expectation of a review. All opinions are my own.

This installment is book 2 of "the destiny of greystone". This book goes more indepth with world building, and character growth. multiple POVs (which at times got a little murky). Sierra works on honing her gift, preparing for the big rescue, and trying to rescue her parents. Unlikely allies are found in Eric. Yet this never prepared Sierra for the emotional and physical losses that will come.  if you are looking for danger, romance, action, and suspense; this is the book/series for you!

I very much enjoyed Sierra's journey in learning about her new power! After a tragic episode a little dark side of her comes out and man is she a bada$$! lol
The multiple POVs are my favorite because i enjoy knowing whats going on with other main characters and not just the MFC and MMC.
I especially enjoy the banter between the characters and learning about their history and what their future may hold! I cant wait for the 3rd book to hopefully come out this Spring!

This is book 2 of the destiny of Graystone series. This book picks up right where book one ended. I found the story for this one much better than book one. The author had changed up her writing style for this book. Rather than going through each detail as it happens, it had moments where the characters looked back at what had happened and then moved on with their day. I feel this saved time in this book and prevented it from being boring with small details.

The storyline was good although I do feel like the end came and then dragged on for too long. To me there was no point in dragging on the story to the next month where they had to do the same ritual again. That part could be used in a third book if somehow, he ended up breaking free.. There was also the part about how Eric came to get their location and a stone to get into their castle.. that was never explained and it didn't happen in the first book so just a small detail that was missed.

Over all it was a good novel. I don't think it is something I would purchase to keep on my shelf, but it is a good book.

This is book 2 in the Destiny of Greystone series and it doesn’t quite have the same impact as the first book but it is still enjoyable. The story picks up just after the end of Destiny and Sierra is a strong and interesting main character.

I really like the way this series tells the story from multiple points of view and it gives us the ability to view situations from different angles which is very effective. Although I still love Sierra and Dante, It was the secondary characters in this book that really intrigued me and I would have loved to have spent a bit more time with Eric and Ruby.

I enjoyed reading about Sierra learning more about her powers and I am looking forward to book 3 in this series.

I received a free ebook of this novel. This review is my honest opinion and is written voluntarily.

Cant wait for the next one!!!

Into the Storm

This is book two in the Destiny of Graystone series. Book one (Destiny) does need to be read before this book, and the following review does contain spoilers for book one. You’ve been warned 😜

This book picks up where we left off, with Sierra and Dante, and their quest for Excalibur. However, there are a few new characters as well.

Everyone is recruiting others to help them
find Excalibur. In their quest, Sierra has to find out who she really is and whether Dante will still love her when she does.

I absolutely loved this series and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Katie has me addicted! I might have to get this one in print!

Book a review

I of course still love Sierra and the rest of the gang. The multiple POVs are still amazing but some of it seems to jump around in consistently. I absolutely love this story though. It’s a good story that will bring out emotions in you that you don’t expect.

🫀This is the second book in the Destiny Of Graystone book series and probably one of my most favourite from the series. After reading the first book, I was enthusiastically waiting to pick this one and it was worth all the wait. This is such a stunning and a heart pounding read.
.
.
This is basically a blend of YA + fantasy + romance + bit of sci-fi + bit of thrill and the amalgamation of all that turned out so so good. It's totally unpredictable and we see the protagonist in new form, I loved the transformation. So, if I have to segregate my thoughts I would say the first book is a build up and this book actually has everything that you might be looking for in a good book, the way it's set in action is engrossing and mind boggling. I love how everything came into one single frame towards the end, the second half is more thrilling and satisfying, It's appropriately paced and not rushed, the loose ends are well tied.
.
.
I also loved the fact that the language and terms so better and updated in this book. I was deeply in love with the characters too. I will definitely recommend this book, I don't think you should read this as a standalone but if you read the first one then go for it.

The writing style of the author is super intelligible and the plotline is gripping. The story is a bit slow and there are extensive details. Sierra and Dante are preparing to save their friends and family from Excalibur. I love the ending, knowing it will continue into book 3. This such a wonderful YA series.

Tropes: Hidden world, magic, fated mates, family secrets, gifted abilities, love triangle, good vs evil, multiple POV, fantasy world, and the chosen one.

Trigger warnings: violence, substance abuse, hostage situation, death, and grief.

This will have your rolling in your emotions. Be prepared. :)

I love this authors books and her writing style, she brings you in to a magical world, where you feel apart off it in every way.

This is part 2 in the series where we continue on the journey of Sierra's destiny. And Dante always by her side through it all.

We also get to meet new characters in this book.

This series gives you all the feels and takes you on a rollercoaster ride, that has you holding on and not wanting to let go. Once you start reading you don't want to put it down.

The characters, the plot are well written and great. And the ending was fantastic and I can't wait to see what plans are in-store for this team next.

Highly recommend!

Not gonna lie, I kinda felt some parts of the storyline were similar to Twilight. I had some trouble keeping up with all the different characters and what was happening with each one, but I do feel the story is worth reading.

I don't look forward to seeing what happens with Sierra and the light that she possesses.

Into the Storm Book 2 of the Destiny of Graystone Series begins where book 1 left us. Sierra and Dante figuring out what needs to be done to fulfill her destiny. She goes through the trials to become immortal, which is a harrowing experience. She grapples with who she is not only as a person, but as an immortal. Dante is right by her side, and he keeps questioning if he will be what he needs to be because his feelings keep interfering. This book is action packed and keeps you wanting to turn the page to find out what happens next! I can’t wait to read the next book!

As always pay attention to trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

Happy Reading!
