Powerful Testimony of Faith

There were things I still struggled with for over 20 years even as a Christian that I couldn't break free from no matter how much I prayed and read the bible, demonic yoke in my marriage, and generational curses that ran in my family. But ever since I encountered God's power, His Anointing, through a humble servant - just like how He moved in the bible through His vessels, I'm finally walking in COMPLETE FREEDOM and Abundance in all areas of my life!! I needed deliverance all along! Now I'm living the life that Jesus has paid for on the cross and being able to go through trials like a Champ! And also being equipped to be a soldier in His Kingdom :)

This gave me a greater revelation of how we are truly victors in Him when we do things His way which are extensively explained in this book!

Already finished reading two chapters and WOW! It is so good! Everything is written so clearly and referenced to the bible so well, that it is so easy to understand and take in. I can tell that Apostle Kathryn Krick wrote this book with guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is so well written and organized and makes me keep reading.

Anyone desperately searching for freedom from inner torment will be drawn to the title of this book. "Unlock Your Deliverance" promises a direct path out of suffering, fear & oppression. And this is precisely where the deception begins. The "keys" that K. Krick offers do not open doors to freedom, but to a commercialized system of psychological manipulation, theological heresy & even financial exploitation imho. This review is a factual dismantling, a warning for all who are truly seeking healing.

The Fiction of "Deliverance": Staged Performance Instead of Authenticity
Before we even consider the book's content, we must analyze the foundation of Krick's entire ministry: the public demon exorcisms. Critical analyses on platforms like YouTube show a recurring pattern: the very same individuals repeatedly appear at different events with dramatic "manifestations." This alone exposes the supposed spontaneity as a farce & leaves only 2 possible conclusions: either this is a staged show with a fixed cast, or a system has been created in which followers kind of subconc. learn & reproduce a specific behavior. Neither has anything to do with an authentic spiritual experience; it is the manufacturing of a desired result for the cameras.

The Theology of Fear: An Unbiblical Foundation
The book is based on theological theses that are classified by established churches and theologians as dangerous and unbiblical:

Presumption of Apostleship: Krick bestows upon herself an authority that is not biblically warranted, in order to immunize her teachings against criticism.

Possession of Believers: She undermines the Christian doctrine of salvation by claiming that born-again Christians can be possessed by demons. This creates a state of permanent fear and contradicts the teaching that the Holy Spirit dwells within a believer.

Gnostic Tendencies: Krick suggests that 1 needs her special "keys" & hidden knowledge to become free. The freely accessible Gospel is allegedly not enough. This makes followers dependent on her personality and her products.
This theological framework serves only one purpose: to create a problem (a constant demonic threat) for which only she can offer the exclusive, for-profit solution.

The Deliverance Business Model: "Show Me the Money!"
This is where the exploitation becomes most apparent. Through investigative work, critical YouTube videos have exposed the shocking costs of her "ministry." A leaked conversation with Krick's second-in-command revealed the official speaking fees:
* $3,000 for a single event lasting about two hours.
* $7,000 for two events.
* $11,000 for three events.
These amounts are exclusive of all expenses such as flights, hotel rooms, and meals for her and her team. But it doesn't stop there. In her sessions, deliverance is directly linked to financial conditions. In one documented case, she advised the mother of a boy with epileptic seizures to sow a financial "seed" to obtain "complete freedom," implying that the usual tithe was not enough—"God is saying more."
Let that sink in: the deliverance of a suffering child is made contingent upon a financial transaction! This is not pastoral care. This is the perversion of the Gospel in its purest form and constitutes spiritual abuse.

The Dangerous Consequence: A Turn Away from Real Help
The most insidious part of this system is that it prevents people from seeking effective help. Complex psychological conditions like trauma, depression, or schizophrenia are reinterpreted as demons. Instead of pointing people toward trained therapists, psychiatrists, and doctors, Krick offers a spiritual pseudo-solution that is, at best, ineffective and, at worst, life-threatening.

Conclusion: Don't Buy the Keys to Your Own Prison
This book is not a guide to freedom. It is the handbook for a closed system that exploits its followers psychologically, theologically, and financially. Whether Kathryn Krick does this consciously or believes her own teachings is irrelevant to the victim. The result is the same: people are kept in fear, put under financial pressure, and isolated from real help.
You will not find true freedom in the pages of this book. You will find it in grace, which costs nothing. In professional therapy, which is based on science and empathy. In the community of a healthy, accountable church. And in the courage to face the complexities of life instead of buying simple answers from someone who has turned the suffering of others into her business model.

I am not a fan of "spiritual" books because I always feel as if they are espousing a religion that picks and chooses from the Holy Bible to make their points, and it ignores other passages which don't fit their narrative. In this book, the author pushes a theory of demonic forces and how to rid yourself of them. She also promotes her church. Some of the examples that were given highlighted "miracles" and "healing" and pushing out "demons". I take all this with a grain of salt, as I do most of these preachers. Having said this, some of the passages highlighted were meaningful, but overall, I wasn't a fan of her message.

This book is a distortion of Jesus’ teaching. We can expect to have trials and suffering in this life, our only hope is that Jesus has overcome. That’s a promise for eternity (eschatological), for a time when the beloved of Jesus rise again. It is easier than ever to get delivered, it’s only a breath away and it’s to ‘invite Jesus to be our lord and saviour, and to accept the baptism of repentance for the emission of sin’ within a body of believers and be delivered by Jesus. After this “greater is he in you than he that is in the world”. No demonic hype! Not saying that there may be instances we may be confronted by demonic spirit (fallen angel). But we would be better informed not to look under every leaf for demons in our lives. Perhaps the majority of issues are that we haven’t surrendered, and need to take responsibility for our lives in Jesus. Ie open to sanctification! Just Jesus and me! A good church is central to this process because we need each other’s comfort and support. Yes we do need the ministry of the five-fold to equip and support us for the journey in this life, we need Jesus daily to renew and transform us, one another preferably called and qualified christian counsellors and therapists to be a part of this movement. We need a modern equivalent of authentic apostles. pastors, prophets, evangelists and teachers of the five-fold ministry, who support our churches who understand the complexity of our human nature, as we continue to rely on Jesus. We need safety, trusted relationships for our souls, the out pouring of the Holy Spirit, clinical and therapeutic compassionate care of our bodies like never before. Read this book at the risk of believing half truths, being deceived and disempowered by fear and distortion. Jesus has made deliverance easy, he said, “it is finished!”

I really enjoyed reading Unlock Your Deliverance by Kathryn Krick. The book helped open my eyes even more to the reality of the spiritual world and the ways demons can hide and operate in people’s lives. It gave me a deeper awareness of spiritual warfare and helped me better understand how deliverance works and why it is important for believers today. The way the author explains how people can recognize spiritual oppression and walk in freedom through Jesus was powerful and encouraging.
What I appreciated most was how the book emphasizes that true freedom comes through surrender to Christ and understanding the authority believers have in Him. It helped me see certain spiritual patterns more clearly and strengthened my faith in the power of God to bring healing and deliverance.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because toward the end of the book there is a lot of emphasis on finances and giving, which personally felt a little distracting from the main message of deliverance.
Aside from that section, the book was very impactful for me and gave me a greater insight into the spiritual realm and how the enemy tries to hide and work in subtle ways. If you are interested in learning more about spiritual warfare, deliverance, and growing deeper in your understanding of how God sets people free, this book can be very eye-opening. I read her books due to receiving healing through one of her videos. We really have authority over the enemy and have been called to do the same thing's Jesus and His disciples did.

This book is heavily rooted in the Christian faith and the ministries of Kathryn Krick. It differs from most books I read that have ties to religion, as in most books there’s an underlying message that, even when written from the Christian lens, can be used across faiths. Though there is a positive intent and message that maps out overcoming the internal struggle quite well, Krick is very intentional with this book and its alignment with her faith.

As with Krick’s ministries, she leans into her faith in this book, furthering her efforts to essentially aid the reader in expelling the demons causing turmoil in their life.

Krick does a good job of taking the time to reference the bible and define essential concepts of the book, from demons and witches/warlocks to what deliverance and being saved really are. Her ministries have been known to pull people in one direction or another, but she stands by her beliefs, and this book is a manifestation of that hard work, dedication, and faith. This book is about overcoming the battles and forces that keep you from being the best version of yourself.

There’s a lot of positive intention in this book, and you can tell Krick is passionate about her faith and what she believes in. If you’re looking for a different path toward Christian enlightenment or are curious about Krick and her 5F church, this is a great book to check out.

Deliverance has been mostly missing in the church for a long time. I sat in church bound by generational curses, demonic oppression, soul ties, and word curses. I had no idea that these were the reasons everyday was so hard. I loved Jesus and even worked at church for years, but I was sick and being beat up by the devil internally and externally. This book is essential for anyone who has questions about God, why do bad things happen to good people, why is life so hard, why do Christians struggle so much, why do we not see miracles in the church today and so much more. This book is written simply but is very comprehensive to spiritual matters and will help even ministers operating in deliverance to have keys to understand to make demons to go faster and help more people to be set free. I can not recommend this book enough. After to the Bible it may be the most important book ever written. There is anointing, (power of God,) flowing through the pages and you can be set free just reading it. Praise God for releasing keys for His people to be set free! I once had anxiety, depression, insomnia, celiac, chronic allergies, chronic migraines, back and neck pain, acne, hair loss, low immunity and more and Jesus healed me. I was delivered and instantly healed of these things! Praise God!

Her message is clear and vital: ‘You are equipped to see spirituality and never be fooled by the enemy again.’ In this Christian religious book, she defines demons of all variations and how to overcome them by deliverance – a focal emphasis of the way Jesus cast out demons as described in the Bible.

Ook al begrijp ik dat zij schrijft vanuit een andere cultuur en traditie dan de Nederlandse en sommige sleutels vrij kort worden onderbouwd of toegelicht, toch is dat wat zij schrijft wel Bijbels. Het is aan de lezer zelf om zich open te stellen voor het Bijbelse onderwijs. Mooi is ook dat Kathryn daarna drie sleutels aanreikt om je bevrijding te behouden en ook daar laat zij zich niet tegenhouden en spreekt vrij Bijbelse waarheden. Dat dit soms ongemakkelijk voelt, maakt het niet minder waar.

Unlock Your Deliverance was a profound but also quite an easy read. The knowledge and detail that goes into letting you know what deliverance is, and how to live with your freedom was very interesting. There are a lot of religious aspects and methods on how to overcome spiritual obstacles, but not conveyed in a preachy way. Krick goes into detail to help readers receive healing tips. To anyone looking for a focus on spiritual freedom I highly recommend this book, as I believe you won’t regret it.

Please watch some of the exposés of her on YouTube. I don’t need to point you to a specific one, there are many.

I believe in the deliverance ministry but we must be careful not to let demonic “teachers” like Kathryn Krick muddy the waters and release demons to well-meaning people.
